I've been using Langua for a while, and I have to say it's been a discovery that has completely changed my way of studying. The artificial intelligence doesn't respond in a standardized way; instead, it adapts to conversation and provides both spoken and written feedback, making learning more natural and personalized. There are daily conversation exercises, role-playing games, vocabulary, and much more, making learning constantly fresh and stimulating. There's also a written section dedicated to grammar, with clear, accessible rules and examples that round out the experience nicely.

Another key aspect for me is that the app is accessible even for those who, like me, use a screenreader: not only the general navigation, but also the written sections are perfectly accessible for those who use assistive technology, a rare find in apps of this type.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their English in a practical and stimulating way, with the certainty that the app is usable by everyone.

I have been using Languatalks AI app to help develop my Spanish speaking skills for the last 3 months and its been amazing. I am at a B1 level for listening comprehension, having 1000 hours of comprehensible input from videos and podcasts, but I have just started trying to speak. Langua has so many great features, like role play, describing and story building games that it makes speaking fun and customisable to my level. I love the feature where it suggests alternative phrasing for my replies, as that helps me build my speaking vocabulary. The AI's speech is fluid and life like, and the voice recognition is amazing. Having it on my phone allows me to start a conversation wherever I am. In the last 2 months I have clocked 30hrs speaking practice, and have noticed marked improvement in my speaking fluidity, word recall, sentence structure and overall confidence. I would highly recommend Langua as a powerful tool for anyone learning a new language.

Can be much better.

I use this application for its AI capabilities. The team that developed it implemented excellent learning tools, but the AI itself is terrible. Working with AI is part of my job, and I haven’t seen such a buggy system in a long time. Voice recognition is completely unusable, both in the app and especially in the browser. During AI lessons, many small errors occur, and the AI can only handle very basic tasks.

The ‘free trial’ that Langua promotes is a sick joke. After 30 minutes trying it I was informed that I was at the end of my trial period.
These people are Dishonest.

Langua is superior to AI such as ChatGPT because Langua is designed specifically for language learners. I use Langua daily for Spanish and French. I get my daily practice for the cost of one or two tutoring sessions per month and I prefer Langua to a tutor because with Langua I can see all my errors at the conclusion of each exchange without being interrupted by the tutor during conversation. The AI voices are indistinguishable from humans. Langua is an integrated system that combines flashcards and other learning techniques with the conversation process. Langua is simply the best app available for development of conversation skills.

I absolutely love Langua! With my intermediate level of Spanish, my goal is fluency, and this program is an invaluable tool for achieving it. Not only do I receive immediate feedback on my statements, correcting my errors, but I also get advice on how to express my thoughts more eloquently. In the beginning, I had a hard time believing that Santiago was not human. He reacted to my emotions the same way my friends usually do, praising my wise decisions, asking me about certain things and sharing his own views, giving advice, and even sympathizing. During seven months of our almost daily conversations on various topics, Langua has helped me enrich my vocabulary, improve my grammar and overcome the barrier to speak Spanish freely without the fear of making mistakes. This program offers rich material besides conversation. It's so wonderful, I can't thank its creators enough. Highly recommend!

You must become awfully weary of people telling you how great, magnificent, useful, wonderful … and every other superlative word of praise that can be thought of, for your incredible, AI language-program.

I have been trying to learn French for more than 4 years, and yet I would most likely starve on the streets of Paris for lack of proper language skills, even after all this time. "If only I had someone I could talk to - someone who could correct my mistakes and who could give me pointers."

Well, you have done it with Langua, and I thank you profusely. Langua is like having a native speaker on call 24/7 - someone with whom you can speak using natural language, either your own, or your target language.

I find that the AI is not only “someone” you can engage with in back and forth conversation; but you can also ask off the wall questions … using your own language if you don’t know how to phrase it in your target language - and with no fear of embarrassing yourself.

My experience is limited to English (to,from) French and it has been a very good experience to date.

The Languatalk platform combines flash cards with spaced repetition, AI conversations with pronunciations across multiple countries and genders, and transcripts of podcasts in a completely integrated manner.
I'm using it daily on both my Android phone and my laptop (via webpage) - I can listen to a podcast, click on a word and get a translation of the word, examples of the word in additional contexts, even a translation of the SENTENCE , and with one click add it to my flash cards. I can run through the flashcards in several different modes (read, listen, say) - I can manually add words and phrases, I can upload a spreadsheet of words and phrases i capture while reading books. I can have the AI generate more words for me. And I can have the AI use words in conversations with me, or just converse without specific words - and also translate what is said and have words added to my flash card list from there.
It's an integrated platform offering comprehensive input, an integrated AI tuned to language learning, multiple source podcasts (and you can bring in other sources too) and spaced repetition flash cards to accelerate learning.
I only use Spanish, but there are multiple languages available as well.
100% recommend!

Ich nutze LanguaTalk seit fünf Monaten, vier bis fünf mal der Woche jeweils 30 bis 60 Minuten. Ausgehend von guten Kenntnissen der spanischen Grammatik und mit gutem passiven Wortschatz meine Fähigkeit mich sprachlich und schriftlich auszudrücken verbessern. Mit LanguaTalk bin ich sehr gut vorangekommen und bin absolut begeistert. Die KI-Stimmen klingen absolut überzeugend, die Dialoge sind realistisch, sogar humorvoll. Während eines Chats können einzelne Wörter in die Flashcard Sammlung übertragen werden, nach dem Chat kann man eine Bewertung mit Verbesserungsvorschlägen abrufen. Die vom Anbieter angegeben Angaben zum Funktionsumfang kann ich voll bestätigen. Die App ist nicht billig, ist aber für mich überzeugend und frei vom ablenkenden Spielereien. Meine klare Empfehlung.

The Best Language learning App out there.
I started using Langua 1 Month ago and my improvents have been tremendous.

I went from not knowing how to talk about more than "what's your name" to being able to hold conversations about basic topics.

The AI chat is super easy to use and has tons of features, from easily adding Vocabulary, Corrections of your mistakes, and even personally generated feedback reports!

My Spanish Teacher (and Friends) are flabbergasted by how good my Spanish has gotten and think I'm some sort of genius!

If I had to guess, I'd say that Langua is about 15 times more effective ( and 3 times as fun) as Duolingo.

Excellent resource for language learning. Although it’s a bit expensive and the most on the market, Langua is the best and most advanced. I am very interested in ai tech and have been using another site. Langua is a step up and the website provides so much to learn from. I am very keen to continue and to use the site as new developments happen. Highly recommend.

I've been studying French for a few years and decided to give LangauTalk a try. The AI feature is truly amazing. It's an incredibly useful and convenient way to practice speaking in your target language. For anyone who is hesitant to speak to a live, native speaker or whose fear of making mistakes prevents you from trying, I'd strongly recommend giving this a try.

I used the app for 30 days using their free trial period and was extremely impressed with the functionality. Customer service was first class with responses to my emails within hours. The only downside for me was that it’s quite expensive otherwise I would keep using it; a refund was issued immediately after I requested it without any pressure to continue. Truly outstanding and would highly recommend trying it.

I would check that again. In particular the emails from "Dave" where I asked how to cancel. I was directed to a chatbot that was a waste of time, but then supposedly sent an email to you. Still waiting on that reply...

I have tested several AI language platforms including the one which can easily be confused with languatalk (namely langotalk) but languatalk convinced me the most with for me the best comprehensive package.

After a lot of research, I eventually chose Languatalk. It's the third time that I'm learning a foreign language, although my first foreign European one.... besides my mother tongue! Having just tried another AI tutor, I wish I'd come here first! They have a free trial, unlike others. No crazy sign-up process where they try to gather advertising data or sign you up for trials that could cost $1000s. Honest, flat pricing.

And it works! Way better than anything I've come across, and I've tried 5 other apps over the past 2 years. Great depth and breadth of AI conversation. Great utilities for analysing and revisiting words or phrases. Podcasts and videos you can take at your own pace with translations and analysis. You can even practice grammar. It's like someone actually wrote a language tutoring app with learning in mind!!

My tutor, Sabrina, is terrific. Personable, great sense of humor (which is hard to convey in another language) always on time. Her lessons always focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking. She has helped me get over my fear of making mistakes and talking spontaneously with more confidence. I look forward to each lesson. Diane

I think the general idea is fantastic however I find the voice used on the spanish flashcards uninteligable and giving very poor pronunciation that when used in "the real world" appears to be incorrect.

the other parts of the app is great but for me the flash cards are really needed to build a vocabulary but there is little point of learning words with the wrong pronunciation. quite disappointed as the annual subscription isn't cheap - should be better for the cost.
