My son had been struggling to get to grips with Global politics HL and was in danger of failing. We bought 5 online lessons and have just bought 12 more because he went from getting 3-4 in an essay to getting a 6 in his last. The tutor is giving tools to understand the subject and how best to study and learn it. Fantastic resource and I highly recommend it.

I have been to 3 of Lanternas courses, each of them proving me with exactly what I need. The first year I went to the PRE IB summer course. This course was informative and really helped me change my mindset of IB. The second course I went to was the MID IB summer course. This course was more tailored to the students, as they sent out an email asking about areas which you struggled in, therefore allowing the tutors to go over anything that you were not comfortable with. This really helped me in the subjects that I signed up for. What is also great about the summer courses is that there were a lot of fun activities which were offered. They had really lovely social staff which made sure that you had the best time whilst you were out of class. Finally, I just had the Lanterna Winter course in London. This was so helpful because we went through the entire syllabus in just two days. The tutors made sure that you understood what you were being taught and they also gave us fun ways to remember certain things which were tricky. Since the tutors were that good, I actually decided to get the personal tuition with my math teacher since he was such a good teacher!

It's really comfortable and less worrying knowing that the tutor I was assigned to knows how it feels to go through the IB diploma program but most importantly what the Ib is looking for. I've tried other tutoring websites, and Lanterna is by far the most appropriate and helpful site for preparing for the IB specifically. I'm really happy and satisfied that I came across this platform.

The summer before starting DP1 I attended one of Lanterna's summer courses for a few weeks and absolutely loved it. All the tutors were very professional and helpful to all students, and all activities were extremely well organised and fun! When I then started DP1 I felt that I was way ahead of my fellow classmates thanks to the Lanterna summer course.

When I reached DP2 I was going through a really tough time, and realised I needed some extra help with schoolwork - and of course, Lanterna was the obvious choice. The people at Lanterna were so kind and understanding of my situation, and helped me find a suitable online tutor - who tailored his sessions so that he could help me with my subjects and assignments in the best way possible.

I ended up with a score of 42 points, and that would definitely not have been possible without the help from my amazing tutor and everyone at Lanterna. Thank you so much for your help! I would recommend them to any IB student!
