As good as a tutoring agency could get! I have been working with Lanterna for abour half a year now, and could not have been more contented. Lanterna truly care about the experience of their tutors as much as they do about their students. There is continuous support available for tutors in the form of online/electronic resources, support staff, and in person trainings. Everyone I've met and/or communicated with is super friendly, always approachable and helpful. I've recommended Lanterna to all my friends and would recommend them to everyone - students, parents, and tutors alike.

Working with Lanterna is one of the best experiences I have. The team is so friendly and is very committed. Although I work as an online tutor, not meeting the team face to face often, I feel a sense of teamwork within Lanterna Education which I think is really impressive! Will definitely recommend Lanterna as I think they are one of the best. The students know the subject knowledge and the service was very good. There was quick responses and contact to support and improve the experience. I believe this can be a good alternative to traditional tutors however I think depending on your course (how new it is) the level of course knowledge will differ. Overall an amazing experience and support from a Lanterna education team.

I haven't used the package I bought due to the vacation; however, the free trial tutoring gave me an idea of how good the Lanterna experience is. My tutor was great and helped me understand the concepts I need to know for my exam. I look forward for our next sessions; it has been a great experience so far.

I want to express my high appreciation about the professional as well ethical behaviour of the Lanterna team around Mr Finn Wachtmeister.

Last year, I sent my daughter, Gina, to Lanterna London to do her last “ crash course” for her IB Exams. She was overwhelmed with the effectiveness and the warmth she felt during these 5 days.
Therefore, I also recommended this to my second daughter; to book the same “crash course” as her sister did.

Unfortunately, the corona crisis made traveling to London impossible. Given these exceptional circumstances we opted to book the home learning version.
Given that several days later the IB organisation announced that the IB exams were canceled worldwide, there was no need for my daughter to have her Lanterna IB course.

In these difficult times when understanding and ethical behaviour is much more important than following the rules of contracts , Lanterna showed that they are not only a highly
reputated and professional institution, but also how to give a perfect example of their ethic values. They put their moral behaviour over their implemented financial company rules and
ensured that no financial harm was done to anybody.

I would like to express my high appreciation for Lanterna’s graceful and professional behaviour.

I recommend LANTERNA and its team to anybody who wants their child to become a better student and their child to feel safe and respected at any moment, regardless of the situation.

Super fast tutor recommendation and great tutor match for our daughter for IB Maths.

To start off with the positive things, my tutor was relatively well informed about the topics, and he himself wrote some good IAs.
However, he spent a significant amount of time during our sessions googling correct graphs, even giving wrong information on some of them (he confused consumer/producer surplus with dead weight loss on a tariff diagram).
Furthermore, considering the amount of money that I paid for the tuition, his efforts and preparations were mediocre at best (he started looking at my IAs only shortly prior to our session start, which not only left me with no time to review his comments in order to prepare for the sessions beforehand myself, but also lead to a portion of our session being spent on him reading the IAs).
In our first email exchange I specifically mentioned that, as I had a lot of time stress due to other IAs in other classes, I would want to hold the 5 sessions in a one week span. Even though he agreed to this, we spent several days more on the IAs, because he either forgot about my IAs or decided to not care. Only after contacting him multiple times, he started reading through them (and this was already past the deadline of one week that we had set).
Overall, my criticism is more so based on his work ethics rather than his conceptual understanding of the higher level IB economics course.

I had a very kind tutor and she was very knowledgable in the subject and aided me a lot with my IA. I would 100% recommend Lanterna to anyone that needs help in any subject area. Also, quick replies on email which made the process a lot easier.
