Loft conversion completed by Lccl Construction to a high standard, professional, honest and reliable loft conversion company would highly recommend.

Very happy with our loft conversion that Lccl Construction has designed and built, highly recommend and the work is to high standard. The whole process was straight forward they done all the design, structure, party walls and construction of the loft conversion all passed by building control.

We are currently completing our second project with LCCL construction we were very happy with the first project so have returned to them for our current project. We are mid build at the moment and despite our house throwing up a huge amount of hidden problems LCCL have been fantastic. As the build is ongoing I will for the moment review the design services and come back with a full review of the build once it is finished.
The design services from LCCL were not the cheapest but they were extremely competitive for what we wanted to do (ground floor extension and loft conversion). The site survey was completed at the arranged time and we were able to describe everything that we wanted. When the first draft of plans came back to us there were some changes we wanted to make so we sent our amendments back via email and they were amended and sent back to us. Alex and his team then managed the whole planning application process successfully and arranged for the structural drawings to be completed. The whole process has been smooth sailing and the team have been excellent, I’m quite confused by the 2 bad reviews scam is a very strong word to use and a what they have described as a small business being busy during times when all businesses have had to change the way they operate is probably not the definition of a scam. Good builders who start and finish an entire project are really in demand (and from what I have seen of some of my neighbours builds there’s a lot doing half a job and going) and hard to come by so having completed several projects I would always recommend booking your build as early as possible. I’ll post the pictures of the build when I write a review of the building services.

I agree with the other reviews - LCCL is a scam. Alex requests for payment upfront but does not deliver on the work. When you ask for update on the work, he gives excuses that he has got a lot of projects. Such an unprofessional company! If you are not able to do the work, don't waste people's time and collect their money fraudulently!

Unfortunately, I have got the same experience with Lccl Construction as one of the negative revies on Google. I just wasted lot of time and almost paid £1000 deposit for loft conversion. I never received terms and conditions or contract from Lccl Construction. Before paying the deposit of £1000, I wanted clarification on payment schedule, refund policy and confirmation that the company is covered by insurance as advises on comparethemarket - What insurance should your builder have.

As per email trail below, Lccl Construction avoided providing me with the requested information and just sent me an email with the company bank detail for deposit payment – it looked to me more as a scam than as a legitimate company.

We dont usually issue insurance certificate as there is nothing to claim, in either case insurance companies deal with this in case of an event
The party wall agreement is between you and your neighbours, ultimately you are responsible for party wall
payment 50% from total sum week 1
payment remaining from total sum 50% week 2

Alex from LCCL has been very responsive in providing professional advices and sharing his experience in dealing with possible planning and building control obstacles. The design drawings were prepared within tight time frame and we passed the planning application progress in one go. Alex and his team are friendly and accommodate, good to work with.

Loft conversion design and build completed to a high specification and I couldn't be more happier with the work. The design was received within 2 weeks of measured survey. After the structural drawings was completed Alexander booked us in for the construction. The construction quality is to a high standard. I would highly recommend Lccl Construction.

Professional and trustworthy design and build construction company. Alexander has been working on our home and has done an amazing job. I did not know much about architecture or construction of home extension but Alexander made sure I was always informed and anything that did not understand Alexander would make sure I know exactly how it works and provide a lot of advice. Alexander has brought in lot of ideas towards the design and interior design. Construction also went smooth from kitchen to plumbing and electricity which Alexander and his team was heavily involved in. I had the best experience from Lccl Construction and would highly recommend their design and architecture services.

Architecture services from Lccl construction are fantastic! We had many quotes from different architects in north london for our loft conversion and remodeling of our period property in North London, and Lccl Construction had our attention due to its design and build capabilities. We was rest assured all would be looked after one roof including design and build and they done just that. They have successfully completed the design phase which includes architecture, planning, partywall agreements and structural drawings and calculations. We are very happy with the design of the loft conversion and home extension. I would highly recommend.

We used Lccl to do a hip-to-gable loft conversion. From the initial stages of architectural design, planning applications, construction calculations and party wall agreements to the final stages of construction, Alexander and his team provided us with excellent and professional service from beginning to end.

During construction, Alexander gave very helpful suggestions and was able to provide us with a high-standard loft conversion tailored to our house. We would highly recommend Lccl to our friends.

Having done an extensive amount of research into building companies who do loft extensions I contacted Lccl Construction through their website. They have a facility online to make an appointment to talk with them. Having booked an appointment it was followed up with an email. The architect's drawings and building plans were also attached.

I then received a text message confirming the appointment that had been made through the website. On the day in question I should have received a call at 3.30pm. By 4pm I was still waiting so called the office of Lccl construction in Popes Drive Finchley. There was no answer and no facility to leave a message.

Later that evening I received an email from Aleksandar in response to the email that I'd sent re-confirming the appointment made through their website. He said he could help with the project which was a first floor extension plus a loft conversion. He then asked that I make an appointment with them through their website.

In my reply I explained I had already done that but nobody had called. I never heard from Aleksandar or anyone else from Lccl Construction again.

For a company who has so many positive reviews in different places online all of which have nothing but praise for Lccl Construction, I was extremely disappointed with the way they deal with new enquiries. This wasn't a small job by any means and has now been confirmed with another company at well over £100,000.

In Response to Lccl's Reply to my Review;

The response that has just been left by Lccl Construction speaks volumes about this company and I couldn't be happier that we didn't use them.

Instead of being apologetic he says he feels sorry that I feel this way about their "Free Consultation Calls service". It seems they believe they're doing the public a favour by offering this service free of charge. I think you'll find very few builders charge potential customers who make an enquiry about obtaining an estimate. Bear in mind this was an initial enquiry not that it should make any difference.

You say you endeavour to provide the best customer service to all enquiries but clearly as can be seen from my review, you didn't do that on this occasion.

You also say you don't have a record of my username on your system. It may surprise you to learn that when I contact a company about building work or anything else for that matter, I use my real name, not my Trustpilot user name!
