Leaders - Hedge End Avis 

Lauren at Hedge End, once again, provided outstanding communication and dealt with my queries promptly and professionally.

The staff went out of their way to find me something suitable in times of need. The process couldn't be smoother and thanks to them I got somewhere awesome for my kids and I after my marriage breaking down.

As tenants, our experience over the past two years has been exceedingly disappointing. During our lease, we encountered a serious third-party incident that rendered the property uninhabitable. Unfortunately, Leaders provided no assistance in addressing this critical situation, despite the fact that I was living there with a young child.

Upon moving out, we were unjustly faced with claims against our entire deposit, which included charges for cleaning (despite using a cleaning service recommended by Leaders), garden maintenance (conducted by a professional gardener just two days before our departure), and an increase in insurance premiums for which there were no relevant regulations supported on this claim. These claims appeared to be an unnecessary attempt to withhold our deposit.

We formally contested these claims and made numerous attempts to initiate negotiations via email, but Leaders consistently refused to engage. Ultimately, we were compelled to escalate the matter to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), where we resolved the issue by paying only £250 to the landlord. This process took two months and highlighted Leaders' unprofessional handling of the situation.

I cannot recommend Leaders based on this experience.

Craig and Eileen at Hedge End Branch were superb throughout. Effective supportive timely comms, understood my position and acted very sympathetically and efficiently to overcome my situation with the minimum of fuss.

We had Craig visit our property to value this for probate purposes and felt he was amiable and helpful. 10 months later we were ready to put the house on the market and visited Leaders, where we saw Craig. We were impressed that he remembered us and the address of our property and how much he quoted us 10 months ago. We are just starting our journey selling this property but things are moving quickly and efficiently.

Craig at the Hedge End branch was brilliant and dealt with everything promptly, made for an unusually speedy and relatively enjoyable house purchase.

I am eternally grateful to the team at Hedge End for the incredible job they did getting loads of viewings through the door, and never losing focus when limited offers were made (due mostly to the restrictions of the Leasehold agreement).
