We’ve had an excellent experience with Romans, particularly Ellie Milne and her team in the Wokingham branch, along with our property manager Anne-Marie Osborne.
Ellie and her team were fantastic from the outset – they secured a tenant incredibly quickly and managed the whole process with real efficiency and professionalism. Communication was clear and proactive throughout, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free.
Anne-Marie has also been outstanding. She consistently keeps us updated, is always on top of everything, and gives us complete confidence that our property is being very well looked after.
A brilliant team delivering a genuinely high level of service, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
We had a wonderful experience working with the Roman's Tilehurst team who helped us find our first flat in the Reading after moving from New Zealand. Nathan was fantastic at helping us find our home showing us 3 different properties of interest and working closely with us on our tenancy approval. Mark and Lorraine were also excellent answering our tenancy questions and helping us navigate our tenancy application. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for your first flat in Reading.

Giving 1 star as I had too. Romans took over the care of my property after thew landlord decided to sell up on a aging property. Within 6 months they raised the rent by £100 p/m (clearly a move by romans to make more money as that's the only real reason rent goes up)
Through my tenancy I reported many issues, including broken white goods, a cooker hob that sounded more like a ticking time bomb, broken extractors fans & windows, and a cherry on the top Mould in both bathrooms (just open a window, use the fan...I coudln't open three of the 6 windows in the flat and the fans didn't work) The mould was resolved via a spray bought from the local hardware shop, it shortly returned within 3 weeks.
I have now been out of the property for 7 weeks, I have not seen a single penny of my deposit back. It took 4 weeks from them to enter my meter readings (upon looking all they did was enter 0).
I have chased numerous to have negotiations about my deposit to be told the person dealing with it is on holiday or in a department meeting, yet I can speak to her colleagues?
Do not ever rent a property from LRG or even list your property with them.

Our Property Manager Jackie Miles- Miller is a real asset who provides a great service. She is amazingly proactive and is always ready to suggest solutions to any problems or issues that come our way.

Really great experience with Romans — Nathan and Lorraine were both fantastic.
They made the whole process of securing my new place smooth, quick and completely stress-free. Communication was clear throughout and they were always helpful and easy to deal with.
Moving can be stressful, but they made it feel straightforward from start to finish.
Would definitely recommend!

Nathan, Mark and Steve were excellent at helping me get a place at The Roebuck, at short notice ( which I needed) I should have used Romans, Tilehurst, much sooner, as they got everything done, ASAP. Lorriane, the Move in Manager, was really professional as well, everything done for my move in with no problems. In the future, I will use Romans, Tilehurst, before anyone else; their skill at find accomadation has been the best I've experienced so far

Looking to place a studio apartment on the market. Was put through to a guy called George. He was, in my opinion, very rude and obviously did not want to be dealing with such a small property. When I asked the selling fees, he asked how would I be choosing which agent to go with. When I said, probably the cheapest, he said “It won’t be us then”. Basically that was the end of.
What I didn’t tell him, due to his abrupt manner, is I also have a property on The Fairway to put on the market at the same time.
I think you should be a little more courteous to your potential vendors. You could have had 2 properties to sell, one exceeding £1million.

Ms Kaitlyn Young of Romans is very helpful and professional.in dealing with the return of Deposit.
Excellent service from Romans in Yateley in particular Harry who was always there for any questions. They were very professional at all times. I was kept up to date with the sale of my house!
