AVOID! Unless you wish your life expectancy to significantly decrease

AVOID!! Prices look good but quality is terrible and customer services are a terrible.

One door was damaged on delivery and had to be refused. They didn’t process the replacement quickly despite the fact I’d paid £60 next day delivery on the order. The driver turned up without the right paperwork for the return so I had to call again as he refused to collect without it.

The carpenter asked me if I ordered the doors from Temu they are of such inferior quality! Flimsy, terrible paint work and definitely not worth saving a few pounds over. I have no faith that they’ll last long.

A flush handle (£14 value) was also faulty, which I called to advise them of and was asked to upload photos and follow a warranty process so they could do a full investigation on the batch with the manufacturer (I swear this is what they told me!) Despite this seeming ridiculous, I did within 30 minutes and was told I’d hear something on Monday… with no response 3 days later I called again to chase. The male call handler accused me of damaging it myself! I offered CCTV images of us opening the box in the garage and he still suggested the item isn’t faulty despite clear photos, two phone calls and an email. Would I really waste my time over a handle if it weren’t faulty?! So insulted by this handler’s accusations, I had to pass them to my husband and lo-and-behold they were suddenly polite to him.

Avoid - buy from a reputable company with basic customer service standards instead and save yourself the stress. Easily the worst company we’ve dealt with in years!

It took nearly 3 weeks to resolve and…

It took nearly 3 weeks to resolve and order issue, which by then the do required was out of stock for another 6-8 weeks, and was in stock when I actually first asked for the exchange. Multiple emails sent, most still unanswered.. Now I have unhappy customers

Excellent products. Helpful staff.

Great people very helpful and friendly, and i am over the moon with the products. I was a bit sceptical as the prices were very competitive. However the quality of doors and the composite garage doors are as good as you will get anywhere. I am very happy i found this company and will definitely be going back. great team and great products. highly recommend.

Glazed doors.

I ordered two glazed paired doors and a door pair maker strip and they look fantastic together.
Ordering them online was a breeze and when I went to collect them at the Hartlepool hub ,the lads there couldn't be more helpful, I will not hesitate to order again in the next week or two. Thankyou to everyone involved

Poor delivery and customer service

Here’s the same review with a subtle compensation cue added. It doesn’t directly ask for money, but it clearly signals that the situation caused real costs and inconvenience — which often prompts companies to reach out.

Poor delivery service and no response from Leadertrade

I ordered doors from Leadertrade for delivery on 3rd March. On that day I received an email from their delivery partner, VIP Delivery, advising delivery would instead be on 4th March. While inconvenient, I appreciated that this had at least been communicated.

On the 4th I received tracking details, however the estimated delivery time kept constantly changing throughout the day. By the evening the tracker repeatedly showed the delivery as arriving “in 1 minute”, which continued for several hours.

As this was a job at a client’s property, I remained on site waiting for the delivery until almost midnight, causing significant inconvenience both for myself and the customer. The delivery never arrived. When I tried calling VIP Delivery that evening their office was already closed.

The following morning I called them and was told the delivery had not been attempted, they could not explain why, and the earliest they could now deliver was 9th March.

I emailed Leadertrade to raise the issue but received no response.

When the doors were finally delivered on 9th March, no delivery time had been provided. The driver arrived at 8:00am at an elderly customer’s property with effectively no notice, and initially unloaded the wrong doors. Fortunately the customer noticed before the driver left and it was corrected.

I emailed Leadertrade again to raise a complaint, but once again received no response.

Overall this caused significant disruption to both my work schedule and my customer, including wasted time waiting on site late into the night. The complete lack of response from Leadertrade to multiple emails is extremely disappointing.

I would still welcome a response from Leadertrade explaining what went wrong and how they intend to address the inconvenience and costs this situation caused. Hopefully this matter can be resolved.

Swift delivery, sub-standard quality product

The delivery was swift, the driver provided specific delivery times and was informative.

Unfortunately the door is dinged and dented on both sides. As it is not being painted, repairs are not an option so the louvred door is rendered unusable for the project. Not to mention, poorly made. Measuring 610mm wide at the top and bottom, and 616mm in the middle! How can you be 6mm out..? These tolerances are dire.

The door was inexpensive, but when using a new company I like to order something small and see how the company performs. As a rule, if they can’t get something that is £35 right then I won’t be trusting them with regular trade!

Low quality product

We started the return process but it doesn’t look easy. Shared all pictures evidence with Leader Online. Probably it was intentional so Leader Online is hoping that we don’t return the low quality item.

Promising but work to do...

Found the trade, retail and click and collect prices confusing as only Hartlepool operating as click and collect despite having other pick up points not operating yet. Product good and price fair but took too long to sort out and 48 hour delivery charge reimbursed after lorry forgot to load it and took 4 days to arrive

Complaint about two separate orders

Complain about two separate orders with Leader Trade, both of which have caused significant disruption and financial loss to my business.

**Order 1: (Most Recent Order)**
I paid for express 48-hour delivery, which was the only delivery option available at the time of ordering, despite the stated delivery date being almost two weeks in the future. That delivery date has now passed, and I have received no update whatsoever regarding the status or location of the doors.
As a direct result of this lack of communication and delay, the doors have now caused further delays to another job.

**Order 2: **
The laminate flooring supplied under this order was faulty straight out of the box, which I documented and provided photographic evidence for. Despite this, the cost of the faulty pack has been deducted from my refund, which is unacceptable.
In addition, this order was also delayed, resulting in significant additional costs and disruption to the job I was working on at the time.
