Lemon Squad Avis 

I wanted to try this out because I love the vin wiki channel and wanted to support them. The foreshadowing to the dealer was very poor regarding inspection turn times. I tried to get help getting the report expedited when I was told that wasnt possible I was going to ask them to call the dealer to set the right expectations. However I was hung up on 6 different times afterwords. They would pickup and hangup immediately after now I'm stuck explaining to my wife why we have to wait another week to go car shopping when we're down a minivan

Ordered ny 2nd inspection. Process took more days then previous. They report exterior was fresh clean paint. Only to find multiple scratches throughout the surface. Rear truck door was shifted to left and damaged. Would not purchased the vehicle or request a lower cost. Inspection was out of state. Pictures provided were incomplete, they only provided 2 exterior pictures, should have had aleast 5. Call to report issue and used return call option, no call back. Called multiple times following only to wait and be hung up on. Finally 6 hours later spoke with customer service, demanded a refund. Inform to send an email. I requested a supervisor, was told no supervisor available. Wouldn't provide email address or direct line. Told rudely no supervisor. Told I might be contacted 72 hours later. Requested refund again, customer service told me it was my problem and hung up call.
Will need to contact credit card company to reverse charge. Extremely upset. 1st inspection was perfect. They failed on this one big time!!! Find another service!!!!

Very thorough Inspection.

This was my first experience with a service like this and I will definitely use it again. I got an inspector the next day and a report on everything in detail with photos and videos to substantiate the assessment. I highly recommend this service

It was fast, very clear and detailed report!

I used them last month, June 2026. They didn't remove the bottom covers and do a proper inspection. There are leaks they didn't report. Now I have to pay to have them repaired. Don't recommend them.

They did what they said they would, in a timely way, at a reasonable cost. What more could you ask for. Good service at a decent price.

You have the worst service and inexperienced inspectors. You just cheated me. I can never advice any one to use your service caz its a scam.

You sent inspectors who had no experience in Box truck inspection. They were just giving comments without doing thorough inspection. I feel very bad that I was cheated.

I was looking to purchase a car out of state. I was not able to see any close up of the car except thephotol online. I decided to use Lemon Squad which I am happy that I did. Several pertinent information were left out of independent dealer listing, small dents and blemishes on the car. The inspector noted these issues and plenty of picks were taken. I can only say that if buying out of state this is a good way to gage the condition of the car interested in. Without it, I would have purchased a car that looked perfect on dealer website.

Carfax showed no accidents etc. Due diligence is very important just because it shows no issues does not mean that all issues have been reported. Seeing reviews I was hesitant but when you look at the cost, I would rather be more informed about the car then basically buying as is. It saved me from spending tens of thousand of dollars on a car that I would for sure have offered quite a bit less than asking price.

Overall satisfied with experience based on out of state purchase.

I have used them twice over the last couple of years on two different cars. Both experiences was great. The second vehicle i did not buy based on the engine error code that Lemon Squad found during its inspection. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, the job was completed in under 3 days. The service was thorugh and from the inspector, to the customer service reps. Everyone was so polite and helpful.

This was my first time using Lemon Squad's services. They were timely, professional, and cooperative. They completed the inspection and provided the report within reasonable time. I will definitely use them again for my next used car purchase.

I believe the inspect was not thorough
Nothing was mentioned about nonfunctioning drawers, the heater that was not attached to its housing , the broken shades , the one window on drivers side above dinette does not open
The water stains on floor and bottom of walls found around head of bed where the water tank sits
Probably most concerning is the suspension is very bad. Even driving it from its parking spot to the gate I was able to tell it was troubled. It was noted a drive test was done
I understand this rig was in a storage unit and did not have access to water
I cannot remember if coach batteries were on your check list but they were not tested. They are dead
I am Capable of doing most of what this inspector did. I was hoping for, and believed was paying for, a much more in depth inspection
The amount of issues that were not addressed leaves me with low confidence in this inspector

I paid for a pre-purchase inspection because timing is critical when buying a used vehicle, but the report took far too long to be delivered. The entire purpose of paying for a pre-purchase inspection is to make an informed buying decision before the vehicle is gone. Because of the delay, the inspection is essentially worthless, and the money I spent was wasted.
If you’re considering Lemon Squad, be aware that the turnaround time will likely not be fast enough to help you secure the purchase. I will never use their service again. There are better options.

Update #1 : it’s been 5 days, still no report!!! What a joke!!!

Update #2: Day 6- still no report! Save your money and use a different service! You’ve been warned. I will be disputing the charges today if not received by 12pm.

In the last 2 months your team has inspected 3 cars for me. In 2 of the inspections your efforts have protected me from a very bad investment. The third inspection made me feel comfortable to go ahead and purchase the car, which turned out to be too late, already sold. That was my fault for not knowing to establish a "sale pending" status. I'm an elderly man and couldn't travel the great distance to see these cars myself. Thanks to the Lemon Squad for being there for me.

Ordered an inspection on June 29, 2026 which was scheduled for June 30. Then it was canceled and reassigned for July 2, but occurred on July 3. A report was submitted on July 6 at 1:12 a.m. but as of 12:05 July 9, 2026 we have yet to receive the completed inspection. The owner of the trailer had little confidence in the inspector as he didn't even turn on the AC/heater unit even though it runs on propane, which there were two full tanks of.
We will be contacting out credit card company for a full refund.

I’ve used this company every time I purchase a vehicle and they have been great. It’s worth the peace of mind when purchasing a used vehicle.

If I could give this company negative stars, I would! Their inspector delayed my warranty coverage by 3 WEEKS because they had someone complete an incomplete inspection, and then fail to comply and communicate. My warranty company ended up putting the burden on my car repair facility to conduct the inspection instead because they could never get the inspection. My car broke down in a different city, I have no car and I am a pregnant single mother of four other children. We live in a surburb with no bus transportation. I rely heavily on my car and they have impacted 6 lives NEGATIVELY. I've been struggling to go to work, feed my children, go to doctors visits, grocery shop! You guys are the WORSE company ever.

As an out of state buyer of a vehicle that had been looking for months, finding lemon squad gave a little more sense of a piece of mind prior to traveling to purchase a vehicle. The process was quick. There were lots more pictures taken of the vehicle, including the codes that were either active or stored in the OBD2. Lemon squad doesn't recommend purchasing or passing on vehicles, but the report provided enough insight to ask more questions to the dealer before making the trip. In summary, I did fly out to purchase the vehicle lemon squad reviewed. If I were to recommend anything to lemon squad, it would be to give a discounted price for up to 3 vehicles within a 30 mile radius. Hence if somehow the 1st vehicle doesn't workout, the buyer has already identified two other vehicles to visit while traveling. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience.
