The driver was great and told us everything that we were going to do, had a great weekend cause it was my birthday so did was a great trip to do, the weather was gomeeat on both days so that was a bonus too I book something again soon

Absolutely loved this. From getting picked up on the bus to the boat and back. The whole experience was imense. The driver was friendly and profesional. Well worth the money.

The whole trip was excellent. Driver was great, courteous and kept us all informed of what was happening throughout the trip. Hotel was excellent too from the staff, the room and the dinner and breakfast. The trips to both Holy Island and Beamish were excellent with enough time to thoroughly enjoy both. Would certainly go another trip with Loch Lomond Travel and will also be highly recommending you to everyone.

Loch Lomond Travel – Shetland Tour (9th Sept 2026)
This tour will go down as one of the best experiences of the many bus tours we have been on, thanks to several factors:
• Our Driver, Jim: He was informative, punctual, and highly organized—flawlessly managing the distribution of ferry boarding passes, dinner and breakfast vouchers, and keep-it-smooth logistics. His driving skills ensured safe journeys, and his ability to manoeuvre the bus in the tightest of locations was amazing!
• Our Guide, Lyle: Lyle could have stepped straight off a Viking longboat! In fact, he is a past Jarl of Shetland's Up Helly Aa festival. His knowledge of the islands, their history, and the filming locations and background stories of the Shetland TV series was fantastic.
• The Weather: It could not have been better (though Loch Lomond Travel probably can't take credit for that!).
• Hotel Brae: Warm, clean rooms and good food. My only feedback is that since the hotel rooms appear to only have showers over baths, non-slip bath mats should be provided as standard rather than requiring a request.
• Added Extras: Not explicitly detailed in the "What's Included" section were the very welcoming tea, coffee, and shortbread stops along the way (all included!). On one occasion, a stop even included soup, sandwiches, tea, coffee, and biscuits—all served by local volunteers in a beautiful village hall.
• Great Atmosphere: Last but not least, our fellow passengers contributed hugely to making this such a warm and enjoyable trip.
Conclusion: If you want to travel to the most northerly town in Scotland (Lerwick), cross the ferry to the island of Yell, and then take another ferry to Unst—the most northerly inhabited island in Shetland and Scotland—THIS IS THE TRIP FOR YOU!

We're just back from Prague Vienna and Budapest tour and it was brilliant 👏 👌
Only gripe I had was the amount of driving time our driver had to put in,this needs addressed as he covered a lot of miles BUT he did stop for comfort breaks and lunch breaks so was all good.
Budapest was by far the best as the driver went out his way and took us on a walking tour which was brilliant,he didn't have too but because we only had 1 night there he didn't want us missing out on landmarks which we would never have found without him.
Overrall an amazing trip and hopefully do another with loch lomond travel.

Went to bbc2 in the park. Loch lomond travel were meant to take us there and back. Didn't turn up. No phone call, nothing. Emailed them , they haven't even apologised. Imagine working for a company like that, despicable people!

Our day to The Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies was brilliant from start to finish. Our driver, Stuart was very prompt and we arrived and left each pickup point in time, he was very courteous,friendly and knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome and safe on the journey. He also dealt very well with one challenging passenger who could have spoiled the experience for more than the poor passenger who had booked the seat that she demanded to have . The coach was very clean and comfortable and we had no problems during our journey. We had a fabulous time at both destinations, everything went like clockwork, including retrieval of tickets for the Falkirk Wheel. We would highly recommend LLT and look forward to our next trip 💜

I came back from the Ostend and Bruges tour with lomond coach travel on the 14th of September our driver was Brendan he was friendly pleasant and professional also very informative he kept the passengers up to date each place we went to .He is an exceptionally good driver its obvious his passengers safety is his priority. Brendan gave me information regarding the tour to Liverpool as a result l fully intend to book it with Lomond travel
It's having staff like Brendan that makes all the difference to passengers enjoying their holiday as everyone said the had a lovely holiday he is a great asset to both the team and the company very much appreciated thank you Brendan. Meldah Speight.

The trip ran so smoothly from booking to going on the trip .Jim (the driver ) was very skilful and friendly . We had a fantastic guide called Lyal who was very knowledgeable and funny .Would thoroughly recommend this trip to Shetland

Great day out. The coach was comfortable, the guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately we were unable to walk from the coach to the Kelpies as we have walking difficulties and it would be ideal if there was some sort of transfer for folks, we had to view from the coach stance and really missed out on the full experience. The coach took us right down to the Falkirk Wheel and we really enjoyed that part of the trip. There is a nice cafe with lovely food, and the rain stayed off 😀.

Not great start when bus was late & needed fuel. Day got better. Driver was attentive to the temperature inside the bus making it a enjoyable journey. Ample time at luss & Oban but too much time at loch earn. The bus parks at opposite end of Oban waterfront to the museum. Distillery etc.

Coach was exceptionally clean and comfortable and driver very friendly and helpful.
Trip worth every penny with hotel stay very comfortable and great room amenities.

That was my 4th trip and amazing as always the drivers are happy and some a funny pick up times could be look at but you help the traffic coach are clean I feel safe and also im a solo traveller im sure i be on many more

I recently went to Jersey with Loch Lomond and was disappointed when the bus taking us to the ferry terminal was a Flexibus not the tour company.
It was not made clear that the bus would only take us to the Ferry and we would make our way onto the ferry and then get a bus in Jersey.
On our journey home ,at Hamilton , the
relief driver was not there meaning we had a further trip to get a new driver after waiting for 30mins.
The toilet on the bus we were travelling in was smelly and not lit.
The travel to Jersey was nostalgic and spoiled by little things that could have made it special.

It was a well organised trip - really good value - driver was excellent all round well done - Man City trip

Holy Island: Day Trip on Saturday 5th September 2026.
Friendly driver.
Very clean, and comfortable, coach.
Coach turned up bang on pick-up time. Seamless journey there and back.
3 and a half hours to explore was perfect 😊
I'll be keeping an eye out to go again next year 😄

Had a great trip on the Wild Atlantic trip.
The grand central hotel was fantastic great staff & great food couldn’t fault it..
Also big thanks to Brendan our driver who looked after us very well.. Would recommend this trip.

The coach was highly comfortable, and the ferry crossing gave us a lovely chance to stretch our legs and relax.What really made the trip, though, were the drivers. They were wonderful—absolute pros who kept us safe while keeping the atmosphere fun and upbeat the entire time. Once we arrived, we had a generous 4 hours of free time to enjoy Belfast at our own leisure before a smooth journey back. Getting returned safely home after such a fun-filled day made it perfect. A true bargain!

Well where do I start with this….WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS
I WILL ATTACHED ALL PICTURES OF OUR SITUATION AND THERE RESPONSE!!
We were meant to be in a bus to Luke Combs Murray Field and this is how it went….endless stress, hassle and phone calls back and fourth. This company should not be open and the manager Aaron has absolutely no clue.

Treated atrociously on Saturday 8th August. Booked my coach seat and ticket for the Edinburgh Tattoo last December. Was phoned twice to say that coach was running late. Was NOT informed that original coach was not fit for purpose so was replaced by a FlixBus with NO destination card in the window! Driver did not do a shout out so I got left behind. I phoned Loch Lomond Travel who told me to make my own way to Edinburgh!!!!!!Absolutely disgusting!!!Loch Lomond Travel are REFUSING to compensate me because they claim that they and the Driver phoned me numerous times but my phone log differs. I am a poor widow and am now £99 out of pocket.
