Poor-quality product and no response to return requests

I paid £49.99 for a car speed-warning device, which arrived on 25 October 2026. In my opinion, it felt cheaply made and the quality fell well short of what I expected from the advertising.

I emailed Lumenvira on 26 October, the day after delivery, asking to return it for a refund. I followed up on 27 and 28 October. As of 29 October, I have received no reply or return instructions.

Their website advertises a money-back guarantee, but my experience of trying to arrange a return has been very disappointing. I am still waiting for them to respond and resolve this.

Bought a doorbell camera for £90, this was a stupid purchase because the doorbell camera doesn't even have WiFi capability! I thought at that price WiFi capability and phone notifications would be a function. Sadly I only discovered this when attempting to read the "instructions" which were about as much use a chocolate tea pot.
I asked to return the item only to discover it will have to go all the way back to a warehouse in China at my expense.
So I've given up and will have to accept the £90 loss.
I have since seen the exact same product advertised for £25, devastating.

The radar detector I ordered was completely useless. It issued constant alarms even when there were no cameras in the area and the messages were indecipherable. Lumenvira tried to hide behind their terms and conditions and expected me to return the item to China at my own expense (which would cost more than the item itself!), completely at odds with the Consumer Credit Act. They are now ignoring my emails. Do NOT purchase anything from this company

An item was inadvertently added to an order placed on 26th September. When I contacted the company on 5th October to return the unwanted item in accordance with their returns policy, I was told that I was out of time since the order was dated 5th September when I had made an earlier purchase. The company persistently refused to accept the return even though their error (or deliberate reference to the earlier order) was pointed out to them. They continue tp deny that an order was placed on 26th September despite having been sent a copy of their own email confirmation of the order that included the unwanted item.

I feel cheated and deceived by this company. I ordered a Dashcam for my daughters Birthday present. I researched and ordered one that had been recommended. It cost £83.85 plus a memory card which was £20. When the parcel arrived it was totally NOT what I ordered. It was a cheap copy that I saw on sale for £19.99. I went through the entire process as asked by them to return this. I followed their instructions completely. My parcel sat in Customs for 3 months and was then returned to me. When I got in touch again to ask what was happening they told me too much time has elasped and I am now not entitled to a refund. I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

Extremely poor quality product for the price (£120 garden strimmer). Product is completely unusable after just a few months and a few blade changes as the bolt and nut mechanism to remove the blade is slipping within the head of the strimmer having lost its thread so I can't change the blade and can't ever use the strimmer again. Company unwilling to help because apparently it's due to "improper use". Don't waste your money. Stick to known brands offering decent warranty.

I bought a door cam from these people and decided that it was too big so tried to return it. What a pain. They take 15% off return to check the device and you pay return to CHINA even if it comes from England !! You have to have tracking and return number which you have to give to them or you don’t get any refund. I will Definitely not be buying anything from these people again. Very disappointed ☹️

This company is a scam, took my £59 for facial epilator then sent me a£5.00 item which cost me £20 to send back & now they refusing to reimburse me, I am 80 years old & cannot afford to lose so much money.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
The items are not as advertised and they will not take them back. They are VERY EXPENSIVE for what you get and the company pretends that you bought in a ‘summer sale’ or some such, so not entitled to a refund, with no proof of this given. The fans are much smaller and weaker than shown in the advertisement and customer service admit to nothing. The ad describes them as floor-standing but when they arrive, they are described as desk fans. The name given on the ad is not the same as that on the box. IT IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF. I will never buy online outside Amazon again. At least with Amazon you can always send it back if not happy. I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I placed an order about 4 weeks ago and never received or heard anything from you

Cool fan was eventually delivered well wrapped on the outside but when unwrapped the box had been dented and on removing the fan found that the plastic grill was broken
Emailed the company with a photo of the damaged fan and box but they replied that this was outside the 30 day return period. They also stated that orders placed during summer period are not eligible for return. I mentioned consumer rights act 2015 but they are not interested.

I am going to add to the litany of complaints about this company. Like others featured in the reviews, I ordered a Coolnix Air Cooler but received a “Wall Mounted Desktop Fan”. When I complained that I had been sent the wrong item, the company said that the item was what I had ordered even though it wasn’t. When I pointed out that I had been mis-sold the product and requested a refund, I didn’t receive a reply. Having read other reviews on Trust Pilot, others have had the same issue. I would not advise buying anything from this company!

What rubbish they sent, can’t believe I ordered this without checking reviews! Must of been desperate at the time.
It’s a 1/4 of size it intimates, was all out of shape on arrival- a bit better after attempting to fix. Power from it is not worth having! What an expensive mistake.
Tried contacting company, no reply! I’ve been done!!

I ordered a WEXTEND PRO DUAL-BAND WIFI EXTENDER and got my son to set it up for me, but it does not work. It will not connect to the internet no matter how much we try. I have emailed them several times a day over the last week asking for a full refund as advertised by them on their website, it states 30 day full refund guarantee, but to no avail, I also tried ringing the number on their website. Do not waste your time, money or energy.

SCAM ALERT! I ordered the Coolnix Air Cooler tower fan, believing it to be at least 1 metre tall (they use images that have been misrepresented). Instead I received a cheap desktop fan. They did not allow a return. So I raised a payment dispute with my bank - once I provided the details and copies of email correspondence between me and Lumenvira, my bank could see it was a scam site and reversed the payment. So thankfully I’m not out of pocket. I have learnt my lesson to only make purchases through reputable companies!

If I could give it negative stars I would. Do not order from this company. I wish I read the reviews before I ordered. Cannot get a refund for a product and now they are ignoring my emails. Had to pay £30 to return the product which it has been sent back to me so out of pocket completely

Very poor. I bought a fan which, when arrived, was a desk fan. No where on the site did it say that it was for table top. Lumen Vira refused to refund as it said it was bought in the sale. Items bought on sale or clearance from a retailer must still legally be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. This does not match the description on the site. DO NOT BUY FROM this site.

If I could give this crowd of gangsters less than 1 I would. I purchased a Dashcam from them and when delivered it could not be fitted do I asked for my money back to which they replied they wanted photographic evidence as to why it was unsuitable which I sent them. They said it was not sufficient evidence and that there would be no refund. A 100% cowboy outfit . Take my advice and stay well away, you have been warned.
