A massive let down. Initial show was cancelled and changed to the following day. When we arrived the next day the show was delayed and we were in freezing cold wet muddy field. No show appeared in the sky just some random drones with lights that didn’t make any images. Really awful warm up acts that my children didn’t want to watch as it was so boring. Hook the duck cost £10!
It took an hour to get out the car park at the end.
When I contacted them for a refund they refused. An offer of a new show was given on a date we couldn’t attend and even if we could we wouldn’t risk promising this to our children again. They were so disappointed. It feels like all the company cared about was getting the money

This company should offer refunds if the show is cancelled. I bought tickets for a particular date that was cancelled due to poor weather and all the other available shows were in locations that were too far from me. It wasn't my fault the show was cancelled therefore I should get my money back.

Never again. Don’t touch this company with a barge pole. Pocketed over £200 of my money. Cancelled the show. Offered a weekday (we booked a Saturday). We work until late in the week. Offered another show 200 miles away. 🤷‍♀️ Refused even a partial refund. Thieves.

Show was cancelled. I was promosied a refund (have email) from the company. They have still not sent me a refund. Wish I had looked at the review before booking. I will be reporting them to Tranding Standards.

Needs to be given a benefit of the doubt..
4 stars- annoyingly my first event was cancelled following an event that didn’t go to plan, and it was plastered all over the news.
I was either given the choice to visit another show or wait until my show got re-scheduled. We attended Maidstone- was really worried at first due to the backlash the company received previously. However I was surprised. Everything was there that was promised and more! I know a lot of people are un happy but I’d give another event a chance. It was really good, lots of things to do for the family and the drones told a wonderful story. Following Maidstone we have just booked the space safari event next year

DONT waste your money. Took an hour to park due to no car park organisation. Disabled parking in a muddy field, tractors pulling cars out. No santa grotto. 1 blow up reindeer as xnas decoration. Karaoke christmas sing along with a lady not knowing the words. No christmas village stalls, 16min drone show which you couldn't make out any shapes, then a black sky as the finalè. People left before it ended. I spent £200 on this debarcle. Refused refunds for thousands of people, yet offered a new date after Xmas!!! Sort of defeats the point of Xmas show.

Awful company, cancelled show and rearranged for a weekday and a later time which we were unable to attend due to work and school commitments. I've contacted them 3 times about a refund as according to citizen advice I'm entitled to and I'm being completely ignored. Shame on you Lumina

Event cancelled. New date on a school night later than the original time! As a family can’t be done. Other options miles away which would then involve an overnight stay!
Over £200 spent for 11 of us!
Refund……no!
Dreadful!

Event got postponed and rescheduled for this Thursday but can’t make that as everyone in our party will be either at work or a school night. Have emailed and no response. Spent £198 for 10 tickets. I am going to get in touch with citizens advice as I believe by law that if an event gets postponed then you should get a full refund. You are under no obligation to go to any of their other events that they are offering.
Terrible service

Don’t waste your money!! Paid for my son and myself to go to the Kent showground, took a day off work only for them to cancel the show the day before (even tho it was a perfect day for it) they rescheduled it for a Thursday which I can’t make as I’m working and in the email they have said if you can’t make it you can go see another show somewhere else in the country! No thanks… I’ve emailed numerous times asking for my money back and guess what… no response. Avoid Avoid Avoid unless you have money to burn. Looking at the other reviews it doesn’t look like we are missing much anyway I just want my money back but no contact number only emails which they are not responding too… worst company I’ve come across

Scam of a company, £80 and then cancelled the event. Only offered one new date on a school night so majority of people can't attend or offered events in different counties miles away, apparently no refund so pocketed £80 for doing absolutely nothing.thieves. also check out BBC article on them and how bad they are. We got screwed over I hope others don't

Shocking. They cancel a weekend show then reschedule for a weekday when chikdren have school or offer to attend another show over 3 hours away from the original event. Refuse to give refunds. Do not book

This is the most dismal experience ever. Its a total waste of time and money. Dont fall for it like hundreds of others, including myself and disappointed son.

If it was possible to leave a lower rating I would.
Attended the event at the South of England show ground and it was a shambles from start to finish.
Paid for VIP tickets and disabled parking only to be treated by unsafe parking in a boggy field and an ‘event’ completely different to that advertised. Good tokens were not accepted by vendors and any food/drink purchased was over priced and cold. The entertainment consisted of drunk singers out of tune and forgetting the words followed by a late drone show that was missing half the drones so the images were unrecognizable and then it failed mid show. Awful communication with the company and have been repeatedly ignored in emails. Never again!

Drones bought from Temu littered the sky,
£5 to breath, brought a tear to the eye,
Marshmellows to roast on a cold winters eve,
£6 each please, the sticks free, if you can believe,

We’ve got you in early to make lots of money,
With long queues, scarce to offer, it really is funny,
That your braved the cold, the mud and the parking,
Wait to you see the show, it really is barking…

Anticipation was building, Christmas cheer was waning,
Want your money back there’s no use complaining,
So the show is shockingly late, disjointed and broken,
I’m sorry madam but this stall doesn’t accept that Token.

A cheeky chappy employed to compere the show,
Doing his best to ensure that none of us know,
That what lies ahead about to awaken the night,
Is a terrible waste of time, and a little bit 5hite.

Perhaps a festive sing song to lighten the mood?
Or a cat being strangled, is that being rude?
Take the Mic away from Poundland Mariah Carey
That sound she is making is really quite scarey

To warm us all up and to bring Christmas Cheer
Have a hot chocolate for the price of a beer,
Christmas snacks, sweets, crafts, your out of luck,
Give us £5 and you can hook a duck!

A queue for every stall, concession or ride,
When the show goes tits up, we can always hide,
The Crocodile rollercoaster, just a tenner for two
It might take longer to spend a penny in the loo.

For this is the way to start the Christmas Season,
Ripping people off, we don’t need a reason,
Just give us your money, scan here or better still cash,
We’ll empty those pockets as quick as a flash..

But it will all be worth it when the show starts,
Because Rudolph has a place in all of our hearts,
Some noise, some lights, the story is about to unfold,
I hope it’s all worth it, it’s incredibly cold…

Then what should to my wondering eye should appear,
Some weird made up monster and Perhaps a reindeer,
I thought to myself that can’t be Saint Nik,
Drones falling from the sky, a little too quick…

I can’t make the fat guy out, is that Santa or an elf,
I bet he wishes he was at home on the shelf…
I can see a whistle, perhaps a hammer a workshop,
And that’s when most of the drones, decide that they will stop..

And then we end in darkness - a lone drone in the sky,
As the story drones on regardless unaware of the lie,
Alas the 600 are reduced to just one,
We really all thought it would be a little more fun.

So next year let’s all spend our money a little wiser,
Check the small print and find a more able drone provider,
Or better still give money to a charitable cause,
Get in the good books for old Santa Clause,

Getting out of this car park will be a real fight,
But to all a merry Christmas and to all a good night!

We are filing a complaint to Maidstone council and going ahead with chargeback . Worse thing that's ever be held at deleting show ground . Management of show ground shall getting email to I'm a lawyer so don't try with me !

Awful event for the price paid. Nothing like advertised. No santa grotto, no Xmas stands. Halloween ride for a Christmas event???
No wear to sit. No fire display. Meant to be free parking turned up and got told it was £10!
Ended with a late and awful drone show that didn’t work. Would not recommend.

Disappointing Experience – Definitely Not Worth the Money

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the Rudolph show in Ardingly was such a let-down that I feel people deserve to know before booking. The whole event failed to deliver on what was advertised. We were expecting a festive day out, but instead were met with missing activities and inflated prices.

Food prices were absolutely extortionate, and to make it worse, they were changing the prices while we were queuing. Completely unacceptable. The fairground rides were also overpriced, making it impossible for families to enjoy without feeling ripped off at every turn.

What upset us most was that many of the advertised attractions simply weren’t there. No Santa’s grotto, no Christmas market, no festive activities that were promised when we booked.
It felt like false advertising and left a lot of children (and parents!) disappointed.
The icing on the cake was the actual drone ahow which failed to deliver, drones not working, sound not working and no finale, then to be asked and told by the compere "did you all enjoy the show", there were some technical issues but what a show!!!!..... absolute joke!
Overall, a very poor experience and definitely not worth the cost. I hope the organisers take this feedback seriously, because the event had potential but failed on almost every front. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I went to the Space Safari show in St Alban's. The actual show was only 20 minutes, which was not made clear when I bought the tickets - the timings given suggested it would last a couple of hours. Very badly organised, queued for ages to get into the car park and the show was delayed due to other cars still waiting. Very overpriced and underwhelming.
