Like many I had a bad experience at the ardingly show but the real poor service comes from the company, things go wrong sometimes but to not offer refunds is a poor show, to actively block people on socials as well. Honestly avoid events by them. Let this be a lesson it will probably kill their business not because they had a bad show but because of how they treated customers after.

Truly shocking experience with rip off prices. Do not book anything with this shambolic company

Absolutely disgusting!! From start to finish- broke GDPR by sending out an email for all parties to see each others email addresses, show postponed by 24 hours, advert promised an amazing family day out making loads of memories, oh memories were certainly made but unfortunately they weren’t happy memories. We bought VIP tickets which cost us £216.70 for 6 of us, this included the amazing Rudolph the red nose reindeer drone show with 600 drones LIES!! Half the drones were non-existent and the picture formation was unrecognisable. A whole week before the event we had a very excited little girl to see Santa’s Grotto (as advertised ) nope this was non- existent as well, no sign of anything that resembled a Santas grotto so we now had a tearful little girl. Christmas carols, oh that was also non-existent. Parking was advertised as free, nope, we had to pay £10 for parking in a muddy field with tow trucks standing by (so they knew there would be issues). VIP tickets included food tokens, oh what they didn’t tell us was that only 4 out of approximately 20 food stalls actually took them, oh hold on, no, you couldn’t actually get a meal from them, my granddaughter had a wrap, it cost £12.50 and i had to pay in £8.50 on top of the food token. They have also refused to refund people. STAY AWAY FROM ANY, AND I MEAN ANY EVENT these people organise.

The drone show was diabolical, total waste of money. The food was overpriced and cold. The fair was expensive. The car park was a field, which cars got stuck in. There was a smell of weed at the exit.

Have emailed a few times for a refund but they are SILENT! Avoid

An absolute scam. The event failed to even happen with the drones not working and no Christmas grotto or theming like advertised. They then have refused to offer any refunds. This is a scam. Do not attend.

What a load of rubbish this was. There was around a 100 drones in the air as opposed to the 600 promised. You couldn’t make out what was being displayed at all.
I bought 5 VIP tickets for £277 and I was expecting free food that came with the tickets. Nothing! Some people said you needed tokens but they were nowhere to be found. The food stall would not accept the entry tickets and some of them wouldn't accept the tokens.
Tried to get money back but was palmed off with “fee tickets in 2 years time”. -> I DO NOT want another ticket. This show was for kids under the age of 5 anyway. Kids will be too old for it by then!
Surely, there is a case against this company that set this up. No food, no drone show - only random points of light, and slow parking!
My Gosh, I think I will set up a drone show next year. Charge people for non-existent food, and only have one drone on show with no light on it!

I am writing a review to express my disappointment with our recent visit to your event. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what was advertised and expected.

We had hoped the drone show would be a good experience, but sadly it was not. The display was poorly executed, with images that were unclear and unrecognisable. Even my six‑year‑old son commented that he could not make out what the drones were meant to represent. We found the show embarrassing and disappointing, and ultimately left early.

The substandard drone display I do not feel the event delivered what was promised or provided value for money. I therefore request a full refund for our tickets.

Attended the Cheshire show in September and have been fighting for a refund since. I am bring completely ignored. Had they responded to me I wouldn't have left this review. The Cheshire show was very poorly organised; they were taking food and drink off people yet only had 4 food vans there for thousands of people who had been encouraged to come for the evening and enjoy food/drink. As such the food vans ran out of food and we weren't able to eat until after 10pm when we got home. The drones themselves were set to a very childish story and many of the drones dropped out of the sky leaving you unable to make out the image. I'm not sure if they weren't fully charged but they clearly had no back ups. Parking was atrocious and quite frankly, dangerous at exit time. It could have been such a good event but very poorly executed.

I'd give a 0 if I could. Awful company. Just cowboys. We went to the Ardingly show and it was awful. Yes they said there were technical difficulties but it was more than that. Terrible parking that was completely unsafe, missing activities like a santa's grotto, no chairs, expensive food. Just avoid

We booked to go to the Christmas drone show, couldn't be more disappointed. Couldn't make out what the story was , most of the drones weren't working which they blamed it on technical difficulties. Lots of people paid £100s on these tickets. We paid v.i.p and didn't get what we were promised. The whole event start to finish was a joke. The show didn't even have a finish, just a pitch black sky. People were leaving half way through. It was even on the news! Hope everyone gets their money back.

we paid for VIP tickets to this event - it was nothing like the advertised event - drones didn't work you couldn't tell what the pictures were awful entertainment - we had to wait around in the cold as the drones were delayed and the show lasted a very short time not the 30 minutes like it was advertised - the last few minutes of the show there was nothing in the sky. avoid buying tickets from this company - well just avoid this company - also the food was so overpriced - couldn't get food for children with the tokens we were given for VIP - rides were really expensive. there is nothing i can actually say that was good about this and to top it all off had to pay for parking and it was unorganised and took forever to get in and out of the event.

Where do you start. It was a disaster from start to finish. Over priced food. No one took the VIP tokens. Dynamic food pricing was being used.
The warm up artists, if you can call them that,we're totally awful and should take up another career. The MC was even worse and was very inappropriate.
The drone show was a total disaster. 30 minute delay and a show that lasted 10 minutes. Watching the planes flying overhead was better than some 20 drones. Far cry from 600 as advertised.
The traffic management company didn't have any idea on how to direct traffic, as this is their business.
West Sussex Trading Standards need to investigate this event for misrepresentation . The directors Thomas Michael Connolly, Andrew Shawn Dempsey and Shah Gulam Kibria need to take responsibility for a shambles show and for ripping the public off. Funny how all 3 directors own all the same companies. People should start to petition their addresses until they reimburse everyone.

I would leave no stars if it would allow me! Absolutely awful i booked this a couple months back with 2 disabled children super excited! And it was an utterly shambles false advertisement no santa grotto, over priced food no idea what they were doing with parking. Drone show was 30 minutes late was meant to be a 30 minute show turned into 10 minutes of Absolute crap couldnt tell what the shapes were afterwards we are met with a shabby sorry the drones weren't working but your not getting a refund the compy who own the show are now deleting comments and posts on social media stating how bad the show was bevause they very clearly do not want to accept fault they need to give people money back we drove over 50 minutes to wait 40 minutes to park and then stood for 10 minutes before leaving since it was such a poor show never again! Avoid at all costs

As someone else said, only giving one because you can’t give none. No Christmas stalls just a random tree plonked in a field, more toilets than stalls. Nothing Christmassy whatsoever just about a million heavily overpriced food stalls. £16 for one portion of fish and chips is ridiculous. The gift shop was a joke, a flashing elf hat for a tenner that looked like something off of Temu. Fairground rides were as expensive as you can imagine £5 each and to quote one of the ladies “the baby can get on but your all paying”. Absolutely appalling. Wasn’t allowed readmission to get my child paracetamol, forced to wait in the medical tent, I think they were the nicest people at the event. M/C had awful banter with CHILDREN and by awful I mean outright inappropriate, only spoke to little girls and even said “I’ve only spoken to girls I need a boy” then proceeded to walk past my boys and about 4 boys next to us and go straight to another little girl. Talking about the women he’s met in Kent? The warm up event was a joke with one of the women looking to her side to check she’s actually doing the moves right, middle one couldn’t sing if her life depended on it. Advertised as a sing along and all we got was 3 songs screeched at us and 3 women dancing out of time not knowing their own choreography. Notice how I haven’t even got onto the drone show yet, absolutely abysmal, 30 minutes late due to “technical issues” forcing us to wait in the freezing cold due to it being absolutely packed. The “drone show” if you can call it that, advertised as 600 drones lighting up the sky lasted 11 out of the 25 mins advertised and for those 11 minutes I could make out half a reindeer and an unfinished elf. Don’t even get me started on the “fire show” my wife and I stayed for a minute of it, the same 3 women came out. The lady in front of our section couldn’t keep her fire alight so kept on stopping, we called it a night, as did pretty much everyone. The audacity of the events team inviting everyone to stay till 9:30PM after that absolute shambles was laughable, stay and do what exactly? Take out a bank loan and get some cold food or go on some rusty rides? Or perhaps stand in an empty field? This event was so so poorly managed and my 7 year old could have put on a better show.

Took us an hour to get out because the staffs idea of “controlling” traffic was standing in front of cars for a minute and then moving.

Nowhere to even sit in the whole place which is astounding because you’d think with the lack of anything but food stalls they would have somewhere to sit at least to eat the overpriced food.

They have truly messed up by ignoring the customers and refusing refunds. A lot of people are fuming that this has happened close to Christmas, shame on all of you for completely ruining what should have been a lovely Christmas evening to unite a-lot of people in music and awe.

While sitting in the medical tent overheard a lady saying how they had no disabled facilities to deliver personal care. Absolutely disgusting.

I hope you all reap what you sow and I hope people see sense instead of visiting this absolute joke of an event.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. Went as family of 5 adults and one child, paid extra for the VIP tickets to South of England Rudolph drone show 4 adults over age of 65, one disabled and autistic child aged 4. The worst thing I’ve ever been too. It was shocking in all areas. The food vouchers were only excepted at two of the maybe 15 street food stalls - so ended up paying for food which was stone cold as soon as it was served. The tokens were a joke for the price we paid. Over half of the things advertised when purchasing the tickets were not there, neurodiverse area was a small tent next to medical area with a tiny baby sized ball pit and a sensory light - probably only big enough for two children at a time. You could forgive some of the bad bits if the main event being the drone show had been good quality - but it wasn’t. The sound & story kept cutting out and lots of the drones weren’t working. You couldn’t make the pictures or characters out and it was so short. Then after the pretty scary story about the snow monster came to an end you’d expect a happy ending - it is Christmas after all but instead it just stopped, no sign of Santa or Rudolph to end the what can’t really be classed as a show. Yes they apologised for technical difficulties but the whole thing lasted 11/12 minutes and was advertised as 25 minutes. Mass exit at end, queing for over an hour to get in and then another hour to get out (lots of cars stuck in mud) for something that was nothing like what was advertised. So disappointed - my child was scared by the story and isn’t scared easily - have watched the trailer for the show and it was nothing like it. Fair rides on advert weren’t what was there. The whole event was over priced and a complete scam. People paid good money for basic and VIP tickets in the hope they could start of the festive season in a lovely way. One tree, couple of photo points and an inflatable reindeer… no Santa’s grotto and definitely wasn’t the immersive sound and light show it sold itself as. We could have driven around local roads to see spectacular lights at little cost! We drove from other end of West Sussex so about hour and a half. I’m sure many families there travelled further - something needs to be done to stop this company selling further tickets and putting on more shows. No wonder they offer a tickets are non refundable policy. So many unhappy children and families tonight all conned by this shocking event. So gutted we chose to spend our family Christmas trip out on this farce. ‘Sparkle with festive wonder’ it certainly didn’t.

What an awful night! Everything was over promised and not delivered not even in the slightest!!
Avoid this scam of a company at all costs!!

Absolute scam. Parking was awful and dangerous. Overpriced food stalls and fairground rides. No Christmas carols, no Christmas atmosphere. No seats to eat the overpriced food at! 3 hours of standing around with nothing to do in the cold and then the drone light show was delayed so even more time waiting. The audio didn't start at the right time so drones were up without any sound, then there were so few drones that no one could make out what the images were supposed to be! All drones failed before the end of the show so the big finale was a dark sky with nothing to see!!! A complete farce of an event. Don't waste your time and money.

The event was originally meant to take place on 29th November 2025 but due to the weather it was postponed until 30th November 2025. We attended this event and were left extremely disappointed.
The experience was completely unacceptable from start to finish.
The drone show started 25 minutes late, and did not function properly. The drones failed to display clear figures and what little could be seen was unrecognisable. Whilst waiting for the grand finale the sky went black and only the narration was playing in the background. The show only lasted around 11/12 minutes even though it was advertised as 25 minutes.
One tree, a couple of photo points and an inflatable reindeer. No Santa's grotto, christmas activities or carol singers and definitely wasn't the immersive sound and light show it sold itself as. We have emailed Lumina Drones but they are refusing a refund and only offering complimentary tickets for another show. I wouldn't want to waste my time and petrol driving to another disgraceful event from this scam of a company!
