Malabar Gold and Diamonds Avis 

My experience today on entry customers were supposed to scan the bar code to be served , scan required name and phone number.
I couldn’t understand why as this is my privacy, staff stated I can browse only without scanning they can’t serve
Than a male staff came stated same -I explained and refused to give any phone number due to scammers
And this is the first store I came across asking details upon entry I was not there to waste my or their time on browsing but to purchase a product
I feel Malabar is lacking knowledge of their customer service and their privacy
I feel Malabar has to review the scanning code and have better customer service and understanding of their rights etc
It’s not my loss I walked out as my privacy is more important
Never again I suggest customers be aware with your personal details on entry to this Harris park Malabar gold store

Shocking quality and service. I bought two Pairs of earrings, and spent thousands, they did not let me try them in my ears before leaving, and when I got home the earring posts were to thick and unfinished (ie rough, not smooth) to go into my piercings, this has never happened to me with any earrings before. I contacted Malabar gold, they knew I had travelled from Oxford but the only thing they could offer was that I drive all the way back to them in order for them to replace the posts with posts that actually could fit into a standard pierced ear. They then added £80 onto the bill, for making the product useable. That's already bad enough but within one DAY one pair of earrings had just fallen to pieces, by now I was completely dissatisfied and just wanted to return the products and get a refund. They refused to refund any of my money, they claimed that because they had changed the earrings so they would actually be wearable - they could not refund - they refused to make any arrangements to repair the earrings either. The only thing they suggested is that I drive all the way to Birmingham AGAIN for the THIRD TIME because their product is SO BAD, and then PAY for the faulty earrings to be repaired. These are 22ct gold earrings, mind you, and they claim to be a reputable firm. Shoddy, and shameful. Their sales staff then bombarded me with calls, none of them offering a solution, they were rude, insulting and unpleasant. Avoid at all costs. They have now just phoned me inviting me to view their new collection - a completely unsolicited call, which I did not welcome. The caller said she had no idea of how dissatisfied I was with their MO and their product and waffled on making excuses for calling me. No one has ever apologised for their poor quality workmanship, their unwearable products (unless you pay extra to have them made wearable) or their appalling customer service

At Margao branch very friendly staff. Very good service - especially from Arman we bought a chain. I can absolutely recommend him.

Great service by Neha from green street branch of Malabar gold. Purchased two pairs of diamond earrings. Good varieties of second studs. Neha was so helpful while I was confused between all of them. Great service and very comforting place.

Very disappointing customer service. I requested a refund for my Gold Purchase Plan (Ref. 00726146) and was promised a response within 1 working day. It has now been 8 days, with no update and no response to my 3 follow-up emails. Extremely frustrating and unacceptable service from a reputed brand like Malabar Gold & Diamonds.

Worst customer service. I got cheated with my ornament coz I have only bill with me and don't have my ornament

No Customer respect and values. Had run a gold scheme which got matured and ordered ear-rings which costs around 3.20 Lakhs. They delayed the order by 2 months and when asked for a small discount of INR 500 to settle the bill value rounded off, they denied saying on scheme we already offered discount which is my legitimate benefit post running the scheme for 12 months. The same store incharge has offered 7-8k discount earlier on a bill value of INR 3 Lacs, however, since this is on redemption of the scheme they even could not owner a request for Rs. 500k. Very unprofessional behaviour and reluctant to take customer feedback. Does not recommend anyone to visit this store.

Due to a misunderstanding, I came to make a complaint in the Birmingham Store. However Salah and his team dealt with my concerns patiently and I walked away with another purchase. The way the Birmingham store is run by Salah and his team is one of the reasons we come back here despite living quite far. It has now become a destination when we are in Birmingham

I would like to appreciate the customer service man name Junaid Malik in Malabar gold and Diamonds, city centre Sharjah branch. He assisted us very kindly and politely. He also guided us on buying gold scheme. Thank you so much

Around in the month of July, I did shopping at Chittoor,AP. India. How they cheated us was so surprising! In the process of buying gold, I returned my old gold ear ring(purchased at USA 22k) and one gold anklet(purchased at Chittoor). After doing the purity check, they said it was only 18k but not 22k. And we trusted them.
On the same day, we did the testing of my other ear ring in the branded showroom, they confirmed it was 22k. It was a very big surprise and shock for us.
Due to lack of my time, unfortunately I couldn’t go and ask abt this kind of cheating .
We are loyal customers of Malabar since 2013 but not any more. Families Plse be careful with Malabar

Have been purchasing gold from Malabar gold (Dickinson road branch) but had the worst experience this time as the lady was new as a trainee and was just not able to do the calculation right. Wasted 4 hours trying to understand how she has calculated everything and billing also took hell lot of a time. She was just not able to explain anything without help. Why keep a staff who cannot do anything independently specially during rush hours.

Malabar in Velachery is cheating customers ..not having designs also .. in chit they cheated us .. they r not showing the designs also .. very bad experience ..

Very disappointing experience with Malabar Gold in Atlanta store. I was given misleading information about the making charges, and the final charges did not match what I was led to believe at the time of purchase. When I questioned the issue, the staff’s attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. Rajni did not want to show the designs , she was showing from so far it was very disrespectful- they are cheaters
Never go Atlanta Malabar Gold , they will cheat you, give you false information and staff is extremely rude. I use to go Malabar at other places but in Atalanta other places are better than Malabar never trust them
