I needed to take the GMAT in order to enter my dream school. This is what happened thanks to Chris, an amazing tutor from Manhattanprep. We had daily online sessions where Chris was able to guide me through my study plan. He made tailor-made recommendations and really helped me to improve immensely in both Quant and Verbal. I highly recommend you this prep!

Tiffany was a great instructor. Coming into the prep, I hadn’t really done much work on my own beforehand, and so it was the first part of my GMAT preparation. Tiffany did an awesome job breaking down question structures and answer strategies, in a way that was simple and easy to remember. It was also easy to participate in the online setup, which was something that I worried about. My overall experience with Manhattan Prep was positive: the materials they supplied are great practice, the instructors are experienced teachers and test takers as well as good resources for feedback, and the lessons were effective.

You can easily trust Jeff and he'll help you make all the difficult topics easier. I loved the way he conducted his classes, very interactive and wholesome. He helped me with my personal weaknesses as well.

Ryan is a great instructor. He was good at online teaching, which I had little experience with before, and I felt like I learned a lot about content and question strategies from him. I would recommend this class to anyone looming for online test prep.

I made the right choice when I joined Manhattan Prep's courses! There are many resources to choose from and for practicing GRE-style questions which is what I needed. I went from 152 to 160 on the Verbal Section and my teacher, Gregg Lachow, was the best when it came to learning different strategies for the exam. I highly recommend their courses and prep material!

I had a great experience in the GRE course taught by Tyler Johnson. His course was incredibly engaging, and he worked to push each student to their individual best. He was very approachable and made learning so much more fun than one would expect for a test of this sort! The quantitative section was what I was hoping for the most help with, and I finished the course with a much better understanding of how to tackle each problem- this is definitely thanks to the digestible way that Tyler presented information each week. Manhattan Prep sets the courses up well- their online study resources are interactive and incredibly helpful. That combined with a really great instructor made my experience very much worth the cost of the course. I left feeling confident that I could achieve my goal scores on the actual GRE, and did, thanks to this course!

My GMAT tutor Richard Wright was invaluable. With each section, he helped me think about each sub-topic in a way that was simple and manageable -- he helped me build a strategy based on my own personal strengths and weaknesses, so that I was able to attack the exam intelligently and with confidence.

He is especially great at helping you figure out where to spend your time and attention to get the most bang for your buck. When you are trying to improve your score over 100 points, there are all these tiny little frustrations and micro-victories along the way, and having someone in your corner who gets it can make all the difference.

I worked with him over 6 months and my score improved 170 points during that time.

I took Dave Mahler's GMAT course - he kept the class focused, entertained, and taught us countless valuable tips. He went above and beyond to review our practice test analyses, customize review logs for us, etc. Given my work schedule, I needed some additional guidance and structure. I set up tutoring sessions with Dave. He was extremely helpful, flexible, kind, and an awesome support system. Nothing but good words to say about Dave!

I had an excellent experience with Manhattan Prep. After recently enrolling in their Advanced Course led by instructor Mark Sullivan - I was able to raise my score from a 720 to a 760. Manhattan Prep tackles test preparation from three angles - content, strategy, and mental preparedness, with incremental methods to strengthen each across the spectrum of scoring. They work with you to identify your low hanging fruit and provide actionable items to rectify those issues.

I cannot recommend enough the LSAT Manhattan Prep Course!

It is intuitive, there is enough material for any type of student. Full time or part time LSAT students can decide how much of the prep material to complete before each session since it is organized by level of importance. The LSAT navigator they offer is a lifesaver pointing out not only which questions you got wrong, but also the question type, the level of difficulty and offering their forum to discuss the answer choices. If you are currently deciding which prep course to go with, go with Manhattan Prep, and if available I recommend Laura Damone as instructor, she is excellent.

I had the pleasure of being enrolled in Scott Miller's Manhattan Prep LSAT class this past August (2020). Scott is an incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and effective instructor. He made attending class for three hours on a Sunday afternoon an enjoyable and useful experience. Scott's ability to break down the difficult LSAT material and make it accessible and understandable was unmatched by previous instructors I have had for the subject. In my case, Scott played a major role in helping me bump my LSAT Scaled Score from a 160 to a 170 (a jump of approximately 19 percentile points). This was well beyond the goal score I had in mind and I couldn't be happier with Scott and his company Manhattan Prep. I would recommend Scott and Manhattan Prep to any of my friends or peers searching for an effective prep course/program.

I did a group class with John Cho and private tutoring sessions with Christine Defenbaugh. Both were amazing - in John's class I solidified LSAT basics and moved my score up through the 160s. Christine was a godsend - working one-on-one with her, I was able to lift my score from about a 168 to ultimately a 176 (first ever practice test score 154) on my final test date. Christine was very flexible and extremely intuitive in identifying my strengths and weaknesses. She challenged me a lot to work both harder and smarter, and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her. She is also super friendly and understanding - I recommend both tutors to anyone looking to boost an LSAT score! Worth the money!

Mark Sullivan was a fantastic instructor during my 9-week GMAT course! He was patient, thorough, and brought an upbeat energy to keep me engaged during every 3-hour Saturday class. After each class, he always devoted time to answer any outstanding questions even when they ran well past time. He was responsive over email when I had more specific questions that came up in my own time. He always made it clear what portions of the homework to prioritize given that I was juggling a full-time job while studying and didn't have time to complete all of the homework each week. I felt like he was able to provide really great tips and tricks from his first-hand knowledge from years of teaching that I would never have gotten from studying on my own. I ultimately raised my score 180 points from my first practice test to my final score and hit above my target goal!

I took the guided self-study GRE program and video chatted weekly with instructor Joseph Martin. I cannot say enough good things about Joe.

Everyone seems to be in agreement that Manhattan Prep's materials are top notch. The digital content is fun and engaging, and the physical books are laid out in a logical way that makes it very easy to find the class of problems you are trying to solve. Nothing is frustrating to navigate. And when studying for a test like the GRE/GMAT, minimizing frustration is key to staying the course.

Manhattan Prep makes studying "fun" (or as fun as it can be) which god knows helped me keep the course.

Joe Martin, was the sun that kept on shining rays of wisdom down on me—helping to make sure that I was absorbing the most important takeaways from every problem. He has a genuine love of teaching, and excitement is a contagious thing.

Just watching Joe walk-and-think-through problems taught me so much about how I could approach the test, and how I needed to be flexible in my approach.

The GMAT course with Manhattan Prep is definitely worth the money and time, and is a direct contributor for my 700+ GMAT score success.The course gives you so many resources between interact videos, practice tests, and study materials, not to mention direct access to top notch instructors. Mark Sullivan was my instructor, and I couldn't recommend him enough. His instruction in the weekly 3 hour class was very effective, engaging, and thorough. The course provided me strategies to approach all the different kinds of problems and I felt so prepared on test day. I'm so thankful for the Manhattan Prep course and Mark's instruction.

I took the Manhattan Prep Advanced Online course with Mark Sullivan, and it was absolutely outstanding, 10/10. The course itself is great for those who can self-study or have taken previous courses and are past the basic "content" phase and moving more into strategy and consistently difficult questions. Mark has all the requisite intelligence and background to clearly demonstrate mastery of every possible nuance of the material. Other instructors might match him in this regard, but no one comes close in social IQ. He understands how to explain, how to probe and encourage, when to be patient, when to speed up. He is engaging and comical without being distracting. He is totally selfless with his time and thorough with his explanations but avoids dragging class on for too long. I experienced all these problems and more with other highly qualified, well-reviewed instructors. For context, I also took Veritas Prep Online course with two different instructors. Mark is in a league of his own. An absolute pleasure to work with from beginning all the way through to post-exam assessment and feedback on follow-on steps. I was unsure about spending hundreds of dollars on GMAT prep initially, but with Mark, I see that as a sound investment.

I took a GRE course with Manhattan Prep, and my experience was nothing but positive. Their teachers know what they are doing, have a positive and caring attitude, and know how to break down dense material in an understandable way. I had Cat Powell as my instructor, and she explained the information in a way I could comprehend. Also, she helped by teaching me ways of dealing with the other aspects of the test, such as managing my anxiety, time, and general attitude towards the test. It's clear that she is passionate about what she is teaching and that she cares deeply for her students. I always felt supported by her and knew that I could go to her if I needed clarification or had questions. She is the best, and I highly recommend taking her class and using this service!

Highly recommend Manhattan Prep. I joined the Manhattan Prep course with Cat Powell as the tutor and have only very positive things to say. Cat is an excellent tutor. She had a deep understanding of the exam material, explained everything in a very digestible and easy to understand way and was very patient. She was always willing to discuss specific topics individually before or after class or over email. Cat was very helpful throughout the entire process and cares about the success of her students.

Additionally, the Manhattan Prep online Atlas tool was EXCELLENT. There are easy to understand videos on every topic along with test questions and video explanations of the answers. Additionally, there are six free, real and timed exams with real scoring. The online Atlas tool was an incredibly helpful way to learn the fastest and best ways to complete problems from real people in a way that the books just didn’t do.

If you are considering the GRE and don’t know where to start I would highly suggest taking the Manhattan Prep courses.
