One thing that made this an enjoyable experience is the sales consultant Chris Web nothing was too much trouble he was there to guide me through the whole process even up to the point advising me when a car was not good value which I appreciated no end, if all the staff where like this gentleman I would not hesitate to recommend to all, in fact have done so with family members

I really wish I wasn’t having to write this review.

Match Me Finance acted as the credit intermediary/broker for a vehicle I purchased on 25 June 2026.

Within hours of collecting the vehicle, I reported faults to the supplying dealer, including an engine management light and the vehicle not having equipment it had been advertised with.

After weeks of unsuccessful attempts to get matters resolved, I formally exercised my short-term right to reject the vehicle on 16 July — just 21 days after purchase.

Despite this, my rejection was not accepted and matters continued down the repair route.

Fast-forward to today and I have now had a high-APR financed vehicle sitting on my drive for around two months, unrepaired and, in my view, not in a condition to be driven. I continue making the finance payments despite being unable to use the vehicle, leaving me increasingly out of pocket.

Match Me’s involvement became considerably more concerning to me after I exercised another right — this time my right to obtain my personal data through a Subject Access Request (SAR).

That was an eye-opener.

Having seen the records and communications disclosed to me, I now have serious questions about how my position regarding rejection/repair was represented behind the scenes, what information was being relied upon and how thoroughly my complaint was actually investigated.

I have subsequently challenged Match Me about aspects of the SAR, including information I believe is missing or incomplete.

The complaint is now with the Financial Ombudsman Service, and relevant correspondence and SAR evidence is being provided for independent consideration. I am also seeking advice regarding my legal options while I continue to suffer the financial consequences every month this remains unresolved.

I’m deliberately not publishing everything contained within the SAR while the complaint process is ongoing. I’ll update this review when there are further outcomes.

Based purely on my experience, I couldn’t recommend Match Me Finance.

One piece of advice I would give any customer involved in a serious dispute: keep absolutely everything in writing, save every document and request your SAR.

You might find what’s in it rather interesting. 😉

They handled everything for me by back and forth text messages as I work as a driver so couldn't be on the phone always polite quick with responses made the journey of getting finance with a poor credit score easy

🚨 WARNING – THINK TWICE BEFORE USING MATCH ME CAR FINANCE 🚨

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Match Me Car Finance and would not recommend them based on my personal experience.

On 22 July 2026, shortly after my car finance was approved, I received a sales call pressuring me to take out an additional vehicle warranty. I did not want the warranty initially, but after a persistent sales conversation I felt pressured into accepting it.
The most concerning part came afterwards.

The documentation Match Me Car Finance sent me clearly stated:
“3-Year Full Coverage Warranty – £1,302”
“36 monthly payments of £49.00.”
However, when I contacted them on 27 August 2026 to question the warranty, I was told that it was actually ONLY FOR ONE YEAR.

When I challenged why my documentation clearly stated 36 months, I was told it was an “error” and that “we are human and we make mistakes.”

This is a £1,302 financial product. The duration of the warranty is not a minor detail.

I requested the correct documentation and a proper explanation, but my concerns remain unresolved.
What concerns me most is the combination of pressure selling, contradictory documentation and the way I felt I was treated when I challenged the issue.

⚠️ MY ADVICE TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS:

DO NOT RUSH. DO NOT FEEL PRESSURED. READ EVERYTHING. CHECK THE TOTAL COST, MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND WARRANTY DURATION BEFORE SAYING YES.

Keep every email and document because, in my experience, what was written down and what I was subsequently told did not match.

Match Me Car Finance has seriously damaged my trust and confidence. I would think very carefully before using this company.
MY PERSONAL VERDICT

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MATCH ME CAR FINANCE BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE.

The biggest issue for me is not simply the warranty.

It is the pressure I felt, the conflicting information, the incorrect documentation and the way my concerns were handled when I challenged it.

A company handling people's finances should inspire trust and confidence.

Unfortunately, my experience has done the opposite.

POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: PLEASE READ YOUR DOCUMENTATION VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE AGREEING TO ANYTHING.

MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING AND I WOULD THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING MATCH ME CAR FINANCE.
