Match Me Car Finance Avis 

Thanks to Evan for helping me get my new car. The quick responses and speed at which the finance gets processed, they just want you to have the keys for your new car. Quick to answer the phone and respond to messages can't fault them!

My experience with Match Me Car Finance has been absolutely unacceptable.

I have financed two vehicles through them and BOTH have ultimately been rejected. The first was last year. The current vehicle became problematic within HOURS of collection. During my 3½ hour journey home it started leaking coolant, which I reported immediately. It went back to the dealer, where repairs were carried out along with an attempt to fix the bonnet latch. After being returned, the car developed a check-engine warning and coolant/overheating warning and had to go back again. The dealer then kept my vehicle for approximately 2½ months. Further issues were apparently discovered and work was carried out around the engine. I repeatedly made it clear that I was not comfortable with the vehicle and had genuine safety concerns, particularly as I have two young children. When the vehicle was eventually returned, it was SMOKING HEAVILY as the dealer drove it onto my driveway, and the bonnet latch issue was still unresolved. I reported the smoking, possible oil leak, further coolant concerns and bonnet problem. Despite this, Match Me’s investigation appears to have focused primarily on the bonnet, using evidence that it opened and closed to conclude the vehicle was apparently faultless. What about the smoking? The possible oil leak? The coolant issues? The overheating warning? The check-engine warning? The dealer has had my vehicle for longer than I have actually had it. I have supplied evidence and repeatedly raised genuine safety concerns, yet I feel they have not been properly investigated. The first vehicle I had through Match Me last year also ended in rejection. TWO vehicles. TWO rejections. The level of after-sales support has been absolutely appalling. I feel completely let down, ignored and passed between Match Me and the dealer. I am now taking this matter further. The Financial Ombudsman Service will be receiving the full history, correspondence, evidence, inspection information and complaint outcome. I will also be referring the matter to other relevant organisations where appropriate. I am not making empty threats or writing this review in the heat of the moment. I am formally escalating this matter and retaining all evidence. Match Me should understand that I will pursue every appropriate avenue available to me until this matter is properly addressed. Potential customers should think very carefully about what happens AFTER the finance is arranged. Based on my experience, I would NEVER use Match Me Car Finance again.

First time I’ve used this company for my finance, after going through another company and I’ll admit, being taken for a mug, I was a little hesitant about going down the finance route once again.

After seeing an ad on Facebook for this company, I thought it’s worth giving it a go. So I arranged for a phone call, got a call back within the hour of applying and was given a budget over the phone.

I was then handed over to Zohib, who was absolutely amazing. He helped me find the car I wanted, that suited the budget I wanted. I told him what I was after, the price I was willing to pay each month, and he did the rest for me.

I never once felt pressured into taking an agreement I couldn't afford, or taking a car that didn’t suit my budget or needs. Zohib kept in touch all the way through the buying process, and answered every question I had.

Collection of the car was even easier. I rang up, said I was happy with the car, and within 10 minutes I was driving off the forecourt in my new car. After going through the hands of other finance companies, this one has got to be, hands down the best one I have dealt with.

And Zohib deserves all the praise he can get, because he was outstanding.
