white chocolate covered digestives is actually very nice combination, some comments on here that the chocolate is to thin but at this price point it would be hard to have a thick premium cookie style coating and it makes a change for a manufacturer to try something quite different. that's the good.

the bad. The "buy a pack/gift a pack" offer. Involves registering you email and mobile details then uploading your receipt then giving a friends mobile. After many attempts registration happens but your friend never receives the free pack offer and you get no confirmation if they ever will. Considering its done in conjunction with the charity "mind" and in an attempt to give people feeling down a lift it does more harm than good. Amazed that "mind" got involved with such a complex problematic and negative scheme. Waste half an hour going through all this and then no gift arrives.......Now your friend feels let down - once again

I recently bought McVities Digestive Biscuits at the CO-OP in Penzance, tel 01736 363759
They were awful - practically tasteless, any "taste" was like a sort of cardboard/musty flavour.
The packs had batch numbers and sell by dates as follows :- 26 APR 25
HF 12 00:51
They are expensive enough at the best of times, but especially so when not really edible.
I know what I am talking about - I have been eating and dunking them for over 60 years (1955 vintage !)

If you like eating cardboard then these crackers are for you These are the cream crackers ones
The absorb every bit of moisture in you mouth so have a drink close
Never again even if on special still a waste of money

Made with palm oil! Replace this oil asap! You killing wildlife and habitat. Will not buy due to PALM OIL ingredients.

Ridiculously overpriced, its such a shame because I love them but just can't afford them now

Bought a packet of Dark digestive biscuits, whats happened to the size of the biscuits, so thin , i wont be buying them again, the ones at lidle half the price, , better quality , tastier

McVities biscuits have lost their taste. They are now very bland. No longer worth paying extra for them. My advice to the Company, is return to your original recipe or suffer the loss.

ETON MESS cakes, 12.6 grams per small cake is too much , it is too sweet. I opened Eton mess strawberry flavour cake and could feel only sweetness, it’s too sweet. I can’t eat it. Will Mcvitie’s do something about it ?

I had a surprise when I opened my pkt of Mcvities digestive light . Half way down the pkt was 1/2 a biscuit !! Is this what they mean by light ??

I’m writing this review because I feel that the Mcvities biscuits and Jaffa cakes must be using cheap ingredients as they taste weird. Also they are ripping people off by charging more for less. For instance Jaffa cakes have gone from 12 to 10 and now down to 9 in each pack. I will now avoid buying there products.

I think the have gone down hill with size and quality of all there range. Also after seeing how the employees behave on camera I'm not surprised . There all over YouTube and tictoc being aggressive and swearing at the public

I recently tried the white chocolate mcvities biscuits!! Not impressed wouldn't buy again, very thin layer of chocolate, just tasteless.
And I was seriously looking forward to trying them very disappointing!!

I tried these from tesco yesterday, opened today and they crumbled out of the pack like a picture of an old chimney being blown up ,has anyone else had a problem

McVities Digestives (plain version) was my absolute favorite biscuit for decades. But the last two packets we have bought (the 250g packets) - the taste has changed. There is an unpleasant after-taste, not the same as the original biscuit. Sadly, I find the after-taste so unpleasant I can't eat them. I threw the last packet away, thinking it was a mistake. But the packet bought today tastes the same and so will also end up in the bin. An expensive waste. A great shame. The end of a tradition.

Wow. They’re TINY!!!
Plus, I don’t know if it’s because of the lack of Jaffa, they don’t taste as nice.
I live in Halifax where McVities have been messing their workers around terribly, so even worse that their lack of being a decent employer has coincided with a huge landslide in quality.
Oh and don’t even bother trying the Raspberry ones!
Stop messing about with sidelines such as donuts and odd flavours and get back to basics McVities!!!

Visited the factory shop in Carlisle having been there previously. Used to be great value, just moderate reductions now. In many cases you can achieve similar prices at the supermarket or the discounters. In any case take a trip to M&S, their biscuits are miles better taste and less money.

Promo price on Box of Mini McVities hooked me in. Checking contents, still with the comparatively lower sugar content, which I prefer. Well, they look and TASTE different, not in a good way. Couldn't finish them & they'll be returned to the shop, for feedback not refund.
Too many changes. Started with ditching the protective box while price has been increasing, unsurprising in this era. Now they're made closer to the Palm Oil Plantations :-( I suggest Plodis check the factory for taint of other products.
Time to get back to baking my own.

McVities are sucking the joy from life, so little sugar in biscuits now they are not a sweet treat.

Absolutely a waste of money now, smaller, thinner but more importantly bland.

And kwackawheat are even worse as no salt, we know what we want & it's not always healthy.

Today bought a pack of white digestive cookies for my son and they were a disgrace. The white chocolate in each cookie in whole pack had the white chocolate ripped off. It wasn't white and smooth anymore like previous versions it was zig zagged like the white chocolate piping machine was at it's ending. Your products supervisors must be sleeping on the job. I am not buying anymore of your lame and incompetent products!!! The most regretted £1.99 purchase ever!!
