What is the reason why mcvities sold the krackawheat product to jacobs who then had the bright idea to completely change the original recipe to their own tastless version. Why,why,why. i have now contacted aldi to see if they can produce something similar since i believe jacobs just don't care anymore its profits before anything same as everyone else GREED.

Mcvities have a prize draw promotion on their packaging. When you scan the bar code it takes you to a site called Content box where you have to pay £1 for 24hrs of streaming (music, sports, e-reading). WHY? I only wanted to enter a competition. If you don't cancel the subscription on that first day, you are then charged £59.99 a month!! What a rip off. Beware!!

Prices are atrocious now £1.80 bought at Asda for a 400g packet of digestive biscuits, I mean come on, they are plain biscuits, talk about taking the you know what out of people , it’s a typical example of big company rip off

Digestive biscuits white chocolate. I brought these for the time last week and to be honest not that impressed. The white chocolate was such a fine layer you could see through it which made it less enjoyable as the biscuits to chocolate ratio was out.
Not something I'd go run back to buy again.

Having seen the new digestive white chocolate biscuit being made on a Tv program in Waxlow road and so well how they were selling! Having worked for Mcvities in the 1960s and also an elderly friend also working for them up the country. I brought some to have with our coffee today at the group. What a disappointment we all had, white chocolate so thin hardy covered in places in my days they would I have been able to buy them in the staff reject shop. We could hardy taste the choc and the expensive price never again will I buy any of Mcvities products. Very very disappointed.

I absolutely love McVities biscuits so was really excited to try the new gold billionaire bar, but it was disgusting. I couldn't even finish it, it tasted nothing like the delicious little gold biscuit I know and love. My husband had a taste and also thought it was vile. McVities - what have you done!

My sister bought us some Mcvities Victoria chocolate biscuits they look grey when opened and taste really cheap. The expiry date is September 2024 but they did taste like past their sell buy date. I really would not buy these biscuits they are awful. Definitely not worth risking the calories for.

Used to be OK now disgusting and overpriced. On top of that they dont pay people to do theyre surveys. Will never buy again. Disgusting company!

Well, there's more packaging than biscuits, what a rip off! Top layer had literally 2 choc fingers, amongst 2 to 3 of each of the others, the space between the biscuits is huge. No way will I be buying these again.

What a rip off..!! You guys must think your customers are either stupid or have memory loss. We have just purchased a pack of gold bar biscuits.They used to be sooooo much bigger. Each time we buy them they have shrunk further and now they are pathetic..!! we wont be buying any more.. Just like all the othet companies, you increase the price and reduce the content

McVitie’s Victoria biscuits bought from Tesco’s. Dreadful! The chocolate had “bloomed”, I discovered, when I googled why the chocolate had a whitish powdery look about it. It won’t harm you if you eat them, apparently, but it definitely looks awful and most definitely does not taste chocolatey. Very poor indeed!

How do you justify a 19% increase in price for your Digestives, and also a 10% reduction in contents in one hit? Come on McVities did you hope I wouldn’t notice🤔

These biscuits like most biscuits nowadays are made using palm oil. Palm oil is a highly saturated fat, nothing natural or healthy about it. Not to mention the devastation to the rain forests to allow this to be grown and harvested. Mcvities by using this inferior cheap alternative to natural oils are enabling the devastation of our natural planet. lidl delux shortbread use no palm oils, they taste homemade with natural ingredients so much better for you.

I have just had the most embarrassing experience at my local Tesco's trying and FAILING to "cash in" the voucher for my free biscuits. After filling in a ridiculously long and arduous form, whereby I had to give my contact details, McVities supposedly sent access to a code on my phone to claim my biscuits at the checkout. The code failed to download successfully after 10 tries. Thereby frustrating the checkout staff (who knew nothing of this offer), plus the long queue of people waiting to use the checkout. Why make these things so complicated - especially if you are supposedly supporting a charity like MIND??! Needless to say, I wont be buying McVies biscuits in a hurry again!

I won't buy any mcvities again shrink the size of biscuits but keep the extortionate price for smaller biscuits they are greedy

A company like McVitie's used to have a great reputation, but recent years they have been ripping us all off McVitie's Digestive Biscuits Twin Pack used to contain 2 x 500g packets then they blamed Brexit (rubbish) and reduced them too 400g per twin pack and also changed the recipe and made them tastes awful, now they are 250g a twin packet, and the price has increased.
I will never buy any of there products again.
