Would be a negative star review if that were possible. Melbourne Central Movers damaged my roof and guttering when reversing their van into my driveway, then lied on the spot about it and continued to lie about it when contacted by my insurance company. I am now substantially out of pocket and with a damaged roof. Don't be fooled by the professional-looking but obviously fake livery on their website - they turned up in an unmarked van and the two guys were wearing anonymous hi vis. They are incompetent, negligent and dishonest - I would strongly recommend people stay away from them.

I used this moving company twice now first time they were great efficient and price was what was quoted to me. This time around the guys were unfriendly and rude they put boxes in the wrong places and furniture was just dumped in random rooms even though they were labeled what room to go in and I was directing them as they went. There was a few items damaged and it’s been 2 weeks and no response from Melbourne central movers. I wouldn’t recommend this company and definitely won’t be using them again. Also like other reviews lots of hidden costs I ended up paying 1395 for a 5 hour move. Pretty disappointed they are quick to take your money and respond when booking but for issues after the move they don’t respond. Update have a response and they are saying that the damages didn’t happen in the move in regards to the back of my fridge being bent and damage on my hallway table. So definitely don’t recommend them because if there is damage they don’t do anything about it.

We have moved a 4 bedroom house from brighton to black rock, Melbounre central movers team is highly recommended, they were very professional from starting to end, fast , efficent. we will definately use them again.

Please don’t use them if you want honest people. They booked my job and clearly specified what items they will be collecting including a bunk bed. I agreed on paying a fixed fee for all the items committed on the quote. On the day , they asked for more money since it is bunk bed and when I questioned them they said ‘ you should have read the terms and conditions’ they then returned and did not refund my $100 booking fee.
It was good cos I found another company called moving Victoria for cheaper rates and great guys!
These guys had no ethics !! Stay away if you can as all they care about is how can they cheat people and make a few more bucks!

Very disappointing and unprofessional service.
I made a booking with MCM Movers and paid a $100 deposit. Unfortunately, due to an emergency, I had to cancel the booking within a minute of making it. Despite the immediate cancellation, they refused to refund the deposit. I think this is really unfair and shows very poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for honest and understanding movers.

Professional removalist, quick and easy would recommend

AVOID this company..worst customer service...my booking was between 10am-2pm then it changed from 10a-3pm..when I called to ask what time they will be coming a lady said 2.30pm however the driver rang saying 4.30pm..then they showed up at 3.30pm they were so slow at they couldn't lift the piano we had so my husband and son ended up moving it..then my husband helped pit the furniture in the truck as they were bloody taking their time.At the end they left my fridge at the old property when they did have space in the truck and simply ask for an extra 1hr pay so they can go back get my fridge! I was better off hiring a truck and getting my husband to do it..I will be taking them further so I'm glad there is so many negative reviews..I asked for a refund for the extra money I paid for the men to put the piano in the truck as my husband dis it and the lady was so rude...

We had a wonderful experience with Melbourne central movers with our major move which lasted 2 days in total. We especially want to thank Nick and Max and his team for their wonderful effort and hard work during these 2 days making our move as stress free as possible for our family!
