Not worth the money
Not worth the money, they are painfully average shoes for the price. The 2 things I want from gum boots -keep my feet dry and have decent grip so I don’t slip- these boots do neither after only a few months of wearing. They’re also extremely hot so don’t wear them in summer. They’re also not that comfortable. My boots began coming apart after maybe 6 months of wear, something I’d expect from Kmart shoes but not something I spent over $150 on. I wanted to support an Aussie business but I will not be getting them again, very disappointed after hearing so many great things. This business clearly cares more about good advertising than making good shoes

Not boots for the long haul
For four years, I wore them at my property in the country which I frequent about 10 days of each month living primarily in the city
I bought them for the country
My usage of them was very light really I don’t live on a rugged property. I don’t ride horses. I don’t stride through muddy stalls or animal enclosures. I literally walk on pristine mowed lawns and down a blue metal covered internal road
I was disappointed, but after what I considered very light wear, even though it’s over that period the fabric inner literally started giving away which unfortunately the way they’re made there’s no way of replacing it, the whole outside of the boot is still in good order which would attest to the fact that I’ve used them very lightly Somehow or other the very light fabric, that you can see on the sides that compliments the style of the boot is literally just falling apart. I did write to them and I got the usual thank you for letting us know kind of return text which was better than nothing. I guess. I wasn’t expecting anything else but I think they definitely need to change the inner fabric, I can’t imagine if you wore them for horse riding and all the other heavy duty things that you can do in boots that they would last anywhere near what you would expect.
I think most people review them after they get them as opposed to after they’ve had them for a few years that would be good to hear any other reviews of those who have had them for more than two or three years.

While we're pleased we were able to replace your first pair, it's disappointing to hear the replacement hasn't performed as expected. Keeping your feet dry is exactly what our boots are designed to do, so this certainly isn't the experience we want for our customers.

Firstly these boots are super comfy, however my first pair lasted six months and then split. Second pair received only lasted two months before letting water in. I received a third pair, worn today for the first time and I’ve come back with wet socks. I walk my dog everyday in a field but now have to admit they are not fit for purpose.April has been good but I can’t get to speak to anyone. I’m so disappointed, and at my wits end, I just want dry feet.

Firstly, we're so glad to hear the boots are super comfy! That said, what you've described definitely doesn't sound up to our standards. Our boots are designed to be 100% waterproof, so we completely understand how frustrating this must be when all you want is dry feet for your daily dog walks.

One star service and communication
While the boots are fair, it’s the way the company treats its staff and stockists that deserves the 1 star. They do not respond to communication and it’s all about the sale. I’ve been a repeat purchaser and the last occasion was last week.

Service was excellent as boots arrived very quickly and were very well made. Extra points because we were scammed, a message from, alleged, Evry stating they had tried to deliver but we were out. They then requested details/information. We contacted Merry People who very quickly confirmed our suspicions. Boots were received through Royal Mail. Top marks Merry People.

This sandals are more than shoes!
This sandals are more than shoes. Recently I managed to kick a door frame causing wearing closed shoes, including my green clogs, impossible. So I purchased the sandals and oh my goodness. I'm 'mindfully' walking everywhere, but thanks to the sandals I'm well on the road of wholeness. In genuine appreciation of Merry People sandals.

I bought a pair of Bobby Boots to use…
I bought a pair of Bobby Boots to use for walking my dogs. After a few weeks I realised my one foot was always getting wet. It gradually got worse till the boots became unwearable. When contacting the customer service I did receive a very polite email assuring me that I would get a replacement pair, as there is one year guarantee on these boots, but I had to show them a number apparently visible on the sole of the boot and on the inside of the boot. My boots had no number anywhere. I did send them again photos of my boots but did not receive any answer from then on.
I think this boots a defenitely not suitable for outdoor persuits or walking anywhere too wet.
The customer service is terrible.

Love my Merry Boots. So comfortable and practical. Can dress them up or down and either way they look pretty special. Easy returns process too if you order the wrong size initially as I did.

Communication is top notch. From the order-related email correspondence, to the replies from the team when I experienced an issue with my new boots, all responses were quick, clear and helpful.
The website is easy to navigate and ordering is easy too. Love the range of products and all the lovely colours, and I also LOVE the fact that they don't have sales. It's so refreshing, and rare!

Excellent service
I bought some boots, but unfortunately they were too wide for my feet and I had to return them. First class returns system, with no quibbles and easy to use.
The method of measuring both feet using their app in which you align both feet alongside a sheet of A4 is excellent and showed my left foot was 0.5 cm longer than my right. In retrospect, I should have measured my feet in the thick socks I would have used with the boots.

Nice boots but not for me
Good looking boots and the return system is easy. Unfortunately the Bobbi boots were too narrow for me (I have C width foot but narrow heel) and the Oberon too big overall (same size as above). I also found that they are really hard to put on - you definitely need a shoe horn to help and even then it's an effort. Disappointed they didn't work for me.

Our styles are built on different lasts, so the fit does vary between these two silhouettes, Bobbi is built on a B width, while Oberon is built on a D width with a more generous fit following customer feedback. It sounds like you may fall somewhere between the two, which can definitely make finding the perfect fit a little tricky.

Amazing product and Amazing customer service! These are two things you don’t always get together but Merry People definitely deliver over and above! I love my boots - not only for the fab colours but because they are so warm and comfortable for my daily dog walks. Unfortunately a fault appeared in one of the boots but the customer service has been second to none and a replacement pair under the 12 month warranty are now heading my way all less than within 24hrs of contacting them and on the weekend! Great company - would highly recommend not only for the boots but the service you receive 🥰
