Merry People Avis 

Bought a pair of Bobbi boots. I’m a European size 42/ merry people size 9, so bought that size. They were so big in volume that my foot moved around too much it was impossible to walk. They fit my husband who is a uk size 10! They look lovely and so far (about 2 months) seem to be ok for him, hence 3 stars.

I ordered a pair of boots for myself and my husband, but my husband didn't like the style, and mine were too small. The free returns label we received was for UPS and there aren't any drop off points near us - so customer services said they would send us a royal mail label instead. It took almost a week and chasing for me for them to send the label, and when they did it was first class. I said I didn't feel comfortable returning £190 worth of boots back on a non-tracked service which only covers up to £20, but they just brushed me off.

So I paid to return them with tracked method. Originally I wanted an exchange but after their poor service I just wanted to have a refund.

I'm having to go back and forth with their customer services so many times, to try and get my refund. This morning I got an email confirming they'd received my parcel and an exchange was going to be processed - even though I communicated in multiple ways that I no longer want in exchange. And even though I've got a confirmation email from them that my parcel has been received. I'm still being asked by customer services to provide a receipt and proof postage before they will process my refund - even though they could see from the tracking information and I sent the screenshot of their email confirming they got it back.

Altogether, this is not been a positive experience and I would not recommend buying from Merry People. Based on my experience, if something isn't right and you do need to return it, it will be a battle. You can't call them or speak to anybody on live chat, at the moment I don't feel secure that I'm going to get my money back at all.

Quality! Product, service and website … perfect short wellies, comfortable, warm and stylish - so many out there to choose from but these are by far the best! (Kinda wanna keep them quiet :) would highly recommend

I’ve only had them a few weeks so far and worn them almost every day on my dog walks. They Really are incredibly comfortable and so far 💯 waterproof. I’ve had a new knee and waiting for the other one to be done. Walking my dog in these has really helped. For me they are a very well made boot. They give the perfect support and keep me dry. I’m loving wearing them. 🥰

Just love my new Tully blueberry boots ,they were comfortable as soon as I put them on ,walked 10 k with the dogs that day ,no blisters etc that you get with new boots ,really stylish too and most of all they keep your feet warm and dry in a wet West of Scotland

Merry People are a superb company. The quality of their boots is excellent and their after care makes you feel so appreciated and valued that you chose to buy from them. I will definitely use this company again and I will recommend them to my friends.

They did take a while to wear in and were quite firm and hard to get on while doing this however once they softened they were perfect! Now I absolutely love them and wear them all the time. I do like having one size up though.
Customer service is amazing. Best I’ve come across.
I recommend not to use ‘earth’ brand detergent to clean them! Unfortunately it wrecked mine however merry people were so good to deal with and sent a new pair. Going forward I will only use the cleaning kit off their website!

I walk to work and wanted waterproof shoes I could wear the whole day. These looked perfect.
But 4wks down the line I am still getting blisters and callouses , so I’m sorry to say they are a miss for me. Disappointed.
Yes, I do wear socks (who wouldn’t)

I’ve just bought my second pair of Bobbi Ankle boots because I love my first pair so much I wanted another colour.
My first pair was bought in November 2023 so I have had them nearly two years and I’ve worn them a lot. They are so comfortable not like traditional wellies at all. I’ve worn them in the street, over fields, on our local shingle beach and even walking through a rising tide in them without any bad after effects (though I did wash them thoroughly when I got home in case salt water isn’t good for them). The delivery and returns are quick processes; I bought different colours to see how they were in the flesh as opposed to on my laptop screen so it was important I was able to return the ones I didn’t want.
I’m delighted with these boots and hope the second pair I’ve bought will last just as well, no reason not to but I’ll be sure to come back on here and report either way. :)

I was bought a pair of Merry people boots by my daughter for Christmas. Sadly they split and water got in. I contacted Merry people and Herbie in their customer service department was straight on the case.
My boots have been replaced and my dealings with Herbie definitely warrant 5 stars. Polite and professional emails, everything was done exactly when they said. I am thrilled with my replacement boots and love the new colour.

I love my boots! They look amazing and fit really well. I'm a half size and sized down, they are still comfortable once I took the insole out. I messaged directly about advice on sizing up or down, I had a response in good time and they changed my existing order for me before it arrived. I also messaged about when they were restocking in UK as I wanted to order another pair and I got a response quickly. Great business! Highly recommend!
