Milk & Honey Wigs Avis 

I am comfortable in my wig all day. People say they can't tell I'm wearing a wig. It is realistic looking. I bought an 18 inch Brazilian hair wig online for $2250 from the Sydney showroom headquarters.

I received it 4 weeks ago for chemo. I wasn't able to wear it at first due to the chemical smell. By the time I did wear it and sprayed the ends with a bit of water for texture, the true quality of the wig started to appear which I believe may be covered up by chemical processes when it arrives.

I had a professional cut to get off dry ends; a couple of inches. Within a day of that, I proceeded to cut split ends off. I decided to count them for customer service feedback. I am up to 680 split ends!!! Many are severely split, often an inch or two up the hair. One hair had 14 splits on it, I kid you not. I have kept that hair just in case Milk & Honey decide they would like to receive it. They did offer to assess the wig if I sent it back (as it was within the 14 days) but I was already bald by that point. I mean seriously, what is one to do?

I need to get a second professional cut now to deal with the continuing split ends (which exist all the way up to the cap).
I expressed to Milk and Honey that the cuts are an additional $130 each but they truly don't even offer a small side product or future discount.

As well as the 650 split ends by count, I've trimmed an estimated double that amount, at least, in simply damaged, frazzled, broken ends. The entire hair is all different lengths and extremely dry and frizzy after washing and giving paraben free conditioning treatments. Heat styling is essential.

It is taking a lot of work to try and correct this wig of what can be done.I have better things to do with my time.. and money. I know I will never be able to erase all the damaged, split ends because they exist throughout at every length. Interestingly, M&H email response was largely about how to treat my wig so not to cause damage.

I hate my wig. Will never wear it. Way too frizzy and dense. Hair quite soft. Cap is comfortable. Looks like Pippa from Home & Away in the 80s. Bonnie Tyler or the girls from Heart would have loved it. I stupidly didn’t ask about the density until after I ordered it and emailed fairly soon after. Apparently I needed to let them know within 24 hours of ordering otherwise it’s too hard to let China know. Kind of odd as they don’t respond to email for at least 48 hours so that was stupid. I never received an update about it either. Anyway, quite an expensive error on my behalf. I’ll drop it off at the local theatre to use a prop.
Ps I have been wearing wigs for years as have Alopecia so I do have some clue about the good, the bad and the ugly.

The wig itself feels nice, soft, and reasonably natural for synthetic hair. However, the shade in person looked quite different from the photos on the website, and shipping took longer than expected. Decent quality for the price, but be mindful that colors might not match your screen exactly.

Two stars for prompt-ish delivery. But it is a drop ship Australian store. The wigs are from China and for what I paid for, the quality is average. I spent $40 on a wig from Amazon and convinced same supplier (same packaging) instead of $200. Do not recommend the synthetic wigs. I have requested a refund/credit will see what happens

It’s beautiful! I ordered it from Switzerland. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn’t be the right fit or maybe not what was advertised. I just love it ! The wig is perfect. After months of chemotherapy. I feel like a new woman. Thank you!!!!!

Edit - M&H are requesting that I update my review to a different storefront. If you don't want bad reviews, don't falsely advertise your products or maybe engage in some quality control. Stop trying to manipulate the reviews.

What I saw on social media and the website was a very different experience to what I had. I understood upon ordering that I was purchasing a wig from the "international warehouse", but my wigs arrived in a cheap ripped up satchel from China. They were kinda mangled from the packaging and it is taking a LOT of work to try and get them looking okay.

The quality of the wigs is in line with wigs I have bought from Etsy dropshippers, but obviously those wigs were 1/4 of the price. I have one wig that it took 30 minutes to gently brush out, and it is shedding like crazy and has no resemblance in style to the wig I ordered. The other wig feels nice, but there are spikey sections of hair woven the wrong way through the cap, as well as a chunk of knotted weave in one side of the fringe. It would seem that people who order the synthetic wig caps aren't worth even the smallest amount of effort with service. There hasn't been much quality control or care with storage and shipping here.

Stick to Etsy or "cheaper" brands for synthetic fringe caps. You'll get the same quality but likely shipped to you faster and for a lot less money.

I'm giving the additional star because I understand that I purchased from a huge sale event and that would have impacted at least the shipping experience. I'm also going to be able to make them work in time. Not that I should have to...

If anyone from Milk and Honey reads this, not everyone who needs a wig can afford your premium products that seem to get the care and QC that you advertise. Either change up the experience, or clearly show where they come from and the quality to expect. This quite clearly doesn't align with your promise in advertising and on social media.

Misleading advertising and extremely poor customer service.
I specifically ordered a wig from this company on 21 April because the company was based in Sydney.
I received notification that it had been posted and as at 30 April, it is still sitting in CHINA waiting for a flight to Australia.
I have tried ringing the company, but get a recorded message asking me to leave a message which you are unable to do (it just hangs up).
I have emailed them on multiple times and other than one generic: “We’re so sorry for your experience, it’s on the way…” reply, there has been no helpful response whatsoever.
I left a comment on their Facebook page about this experience and they have obviously blocked me.

Overall disappointing experience. Took 68 days from order confirmation to arrive. Extremely poor communication with generic responses.
Wig not the same colour as the website, no label that states colour, size or any information.
Would definitely not recommend buying from this company!

Lovely store workers and team, you can tell they take pride and are super supportive with all clients of all circumstances.

Came in with my partner and had such a lovely experience. The team were genuinely kind and took such thoughtful care in making sure my partner felt supported and comfortable throughout the whole appointment. It meant a lot to both of us.

Fantastic company to deal with absolutely exceptional, beautiful wigs that others just don’t know are wigs, going through chemotherapy my hair was the heart broken moment for me, which led me here, was super easy to shop and loads of information and tips i definitely needed, and guess what affordable.. I have had a a very good experience with Milk and Honey, lm very thankful for their assistance and their returned emails. I survived breast cancer l had to go through months of chemo and radiation. Since then my hair has gone from growing fast to now not. As well it thinned out and is in bad condition although l try to keep it in good condition but nothing works. So l have gone to wearing wigs mostly. And l will be buying my wigs only from Milk and Honey. And they are based in Australia, it all positive for me. And l will be a positive customer to them through the years. I am going through the battle of my life my treatment chemotherapy takes most from you , my hair was my I still feel beautiful, I felt like yoda, and bed was my new home as I stayed away from society, i didn’t feel sexy I didn’t feel like me, I didn’t even feel at all like a lady, I was fortunate enough to have a fitting with the cancer council Brisbane, reluctantly dragging my feet, I sat and seen the milk and honey co bags I knew straight away who’s these were/ I’d admire many many videos and wigs, they say it take a community and that it does the beautiful wigs donated by honey and co amazing gesture of the kindest hearts to help in a time when quality of life is very much needed, thank you to the cancer council and honey and co I feel like myself as I ride the roller coaster and a fabulous myself, I’m stunning myself again thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul tammy

I did thorough research both Australia & international wide… Milk and Honey looked like the most legit website and having higher quality items than other stores. I had an inspiration of the type of wig I wanted, and the MIAH Rainbow Bob was exactly what I needed. Thank you for the most beautiful & high quality wig for a first time buyer! Absolutely worth it compared to dying your natural hair!

As a first time purchaser to a complete wig with absolutely no experience but just hesitation, i finally made that decision and i am absolutely glad that I did. I made that purchase keeping in mind that I can always return it or use it as a stepping stone to finding the right choice given the variety, pricing and very simple guidelines on the product description page..
Milk and Honey wigs are fantastic and even their synthetic fibre wigs are very comfortable and complimenting ..but I will be looking into a human hair wig in the future.
They were extremely helpful via email and phone and assist you in any awkward questions..
I recommend purchasing a few and then deciding on which one is best suited as things can be quite different in real life..
