I brought this heat pump tumble dryer Miele T1 TSF643WP 8Kg Heat Pump in March 2020 it cost me almost £1000 I have a daughter with special needs so I do a lot of washing and since I was very pleased with other Meile appliances I made the dreadful error of getting this It has turned out to be the biggest piece of old junk I’ve ever had it rarely works it doesn’t dry anything it constantly bleeps I’ve had the man out to mend it once and now it’s not working again in the middle of winter it’s so stressful I’m going to throw the thing out and get a cheap white knight or Hotpoint vented Dryer I would not advise anybody to get one of these for your sanity
Bought a WCE 330 washing machine and not happy.
Bought a WCE 330 washing machine not even 2 years ago for over $2000, it has stopped working and after 1 week waiting for the tec to come out he told me it would be another 3 weeks for the part to be shipped from Germany. I have 2 boys and do 2 washes a week. Now i have to find a laundry mat, find the time to drop it off and pick it up and pay to get it done. From what i have read this is a common problem, they should have parts in stock. Not Happy at all and will not buy a Miele product ever again and advise others to stay away from this brand.
CVA7440 - £4000 of junk
CVA7440 - Integrated Coffee Machine
I’ve had Bosch/NEFF but this time I thought I’d treat ourselves to a Miele fully integrated coffee machine. What a mistake. Inside of 15months we’ve had TWO machines and it’s no exaggeration to say we’ve had 4 engineer visits EACH one you wait a minimum of ONE MONTH for because MIELE DO NOT EVEN SUPPORT THE MACHINE, they use external engineers. The computer system is a joke, tells you to fill the water when it’s full, stops mid-cycle and then dumps dirty water into your coffee, the list is endless and when I politely ask them to just come and collect it, refund me so I can go back to buying a Bosch/NEFF … you guessed it, you have to wait another MONTH for an engineer to assess it. Miele, if you’re listening, your reputation is tarnished. Your product quality is no longer the leader in the field and your customer service is laughable. Take responsibility for your products.
Will always buy Miele hoovers
Will always buy Miele hoovers! However bought one recently as thought my old one had died, however it hadnt. I did notice that on the new Miele, the parts seemed much cheaper than my old one, which is a shame. The hoover head etc was nothing like the quality of my old cat and dog c3.
To put it simply, rubbish
To put it simply, I will never consider buying another Miele product. Absolute rubbish Then the customer service eventually, after two visits in three weeks, fix it. Part failed after only fourteen months with very little use. They gave a twelve month warranty on the new part. So I’m expecting it to break after the warranty runs out. But by then it’ll be sold at a huge loss. Never again.
Miele hob KM7678FL doesn’t work properly
Miele hob KM7678FL doesn’t heat pans properly. Still struggling with the new hob e we bought last month. One side of the pan starts to burn while the other is barely bubbling. Can’t cook anything without constant supervision. Miele technician shrugged his shoulders and said ‘I’m not a chef’ as if it was our problem not the hob’s! Very disappointed with the product and service.
Whatever Happened to Miele?
What has happened to Miele washing machines? They used to be the most reliable, durable washing machine you could buy, which is why I purchased nothing else over a 40 year period, even though their price point was high. However, my current experience has decided me never to purchase another Miele washing machine … ever.
My current experience started in 2014, when I purchased A W5872. By 2016 I wrote to Miele because the machine was just ripping all of my clothes. After sending out an engineer and some discussion, it was agreed that they would replace the washing machine with an upgraded machine, WKR 570 (W1) (some £1600) for which I still had to pay nearly £1,000 extra, a not inexpensive machine.
We are now 2021 and this all bells & whistles machine has proved to be anything but durable. I started having problems in 2020 (4 years after purchase) I used the 75 wash once a week. My surprise came when the water started to seep out of the screws holding the front panel on! Then there was the 50 wash, which seemed to run cold. This was followed by the detergent tray overfilling to flood levels, following a message telling me the stop cock was open. Suffice it to say, I am now looking to purchase another washing machine and Miele will not be on my short list.
Extended Warranty - dont do it.
Took out an extended warranty with Miele, spent 6 weeks going between Domestic and General , neither company taking responsibility.
Having paid a monthly fee for 8 years, all Miele would offer is a half price vacuum, no replacement.
3 Jahre Dauerprobleme

Schlecht funktionierende Bedieneinheit, ständige Fehlermeldungen mit Waterproof und Wasserzulauf. EUR 2400 deutsches Qualitätsprodukt. Totalschaden am Parkettboden durch ausgetretenes Wasser am Maschinenboden. Vielen Dank Miele und good bye. Mein nächster Geschirrspüler hat eine Garantiezeit von acht Jahren. Davon kann Miele nur träumen.
Brand new £1000 dishwasher stopped…
Brand new £1000 dishwasher stopped working. Booked to send out an Engineer who then didn't show and then told no-one can come out for 10 days because of their error. Prioritise the people who you both booked first and failed.
Waste of money
Our £1,800 Miele washing machine is 7 years old (10 year warranty). Today the Miele technician confirmed the drum is failing... and Miele refuse to fix the machine. Instead they're offering a discount off a new machine. Why would I throw good money after bad? Don't believe the "engineered for 20 years" line - our machine only has 8,000 hours on it.
They have created a web of total fantasy
Miele have somehow created a myth that their products are something special and that you should pay a premium for them. This is fantasy. Our record with them is as follows
Wine cooler- broken beyond repair, £2,500 to replace
Dishwashers- broken beyond repair, £1,500 to replace
Small oven- control panel broken, £600 to repair
Large oven- control panel broken and can't be fixed so £4,000 for a new oven
The large oven has been used less than 20 times so a cost of £200 per usage.
Dealing with them is like being mugged
Great vacuums good service
Always had Miele vacuum cleaners and wouldn't buy from anyone else. Ordering new bags and filters for the my vacuum is easy and fast and not too expensive given the quality of product. Would give five stars if they offered a reusable and washable vacuum bag but the current ones are disposable only which is quite sad.
Miele holds its customers in contempt
Miele holds its customers in contempt. Induction hob bought in June 2021 never worked correctly and then stopped working completely. All electrics checked by professional firm. Miele confirmed (by telephone) from mine and electricians test results which part needs to be replaced (a common problem apparently). Miele technician visit booked for one week later (ie two weeks since it had stopped working). He/she didn’t turn up (no warning given or cancellation received). Rebooked for another week later, which Miele cancelled two days before. They rebooked for a further two weeks later. Yet again this was cancelled, this time on the day before and yet again they have booked another date in a weeks time (which no doubt will get cancelled again). I now need to start the process of making a claim under warranty to get them to supply a new hob. No doubt they will resist this and the case will go to court. In the meantime we continue to cook on a camping stove, and no doubt will still be doing so on Christmas Day.
Please note that at no point has Miele ever apologised. Not once. Every time they call their attitude smacks of “Tough. What are you going to do? Take it or leave it.”
I wish I had checked TrustPilot before buying Miele. Their stuff not working and their terrible customer service are there for all to see in the reviews. My mistake.
Shoddy product and service
Bought a Miele fridge/freezer 2013. Since which time it has caused constant anxiety and stress as could not maintain correct temperature. First engineer came within guarantee period, but obviously didn't investigate. Next two callouts incurred a cost, but the problem has not been fixed. Engineer called yesterday and had various theories and said he would be back next week. Money for the callout taken upfront and only refundable if we buy another fridge/freezer from them. Not good enough. We have now ordered a new fridge/freezer - not Miele.
Should be a great washing maschine but zero maintenance instructions
I have just bought a new Miele washing maschine W1 excellence. It is recommended b the Danish test agenc Tænk. So far it has worked very well. However we live in an area of very high water hardess.(Copenhagen Denmark).
I bought Mieles "afkalkningsmiddle" 10131080 to remove calcium from the washing machine. But there is no useful instruction about how to use the calcium remover either on the container itself or in the manual which followed with the machine.
The container text advises "pour the container's contents directly in the washing maschines drum and start a program with 90-95oC without forewash." No help from the "manual".
I have now worked out for myself that you should use the program for cotton at 90oC without prewash to do the scale cleaning job. I hope this works !
Miele G6825-W with circulation pump failure
I bought a Miele G6825-W extra large XXL dishwasher back in 2018 for about USD 2000, and after only 3 years the circulation pump failed with code F78. It took Miele 3 weeks to get a repair man (Bø installasjon) and the charge was USD 1000 including travel, a new pump and working time. I asked the repair man if something was stuck in the pump but he said it just failed and this happens sometimes. I previously had 2 Miele refrigerators also, and both has temperature sensor failures with less than 10 years use that had to be replaced, causing a total breakdown of both units shortly thereafter. I will never buy Miele again.
MIELE give false information in order to oblige customer to change device
following the intervention of a MIELE technician on my dishwasher and who had made a diagnostic error, started again after having changed and incorrectly reassembled the pressure switch, which caused a leak in the appliance and which left in addition an estimate of 540 € for change of electronic card.
The Miele after-sales service had certified me that I myself did not change the card because supposedly had to be programmed by the technician and was delivered without installation notice (which turned out to be misinformation: I had modified and changed in 5 minutes the card but the failure was still present).
Faced with so much incompetence on the part of MIELE, I asked for a technician who in turn finally managed to repair the dishwasher in 1 day:
- it must have dried all of the components which had taken in water following the error in mounting the pressure switch by the MIELE technician
- he concluded that the failure initially came from the presostat, which the MIELE technician had suspected, but as the latter had reassembled it incorrectly, it had not generated a leak and the dishwasher continued to put itself in error due to moisture in the device.
In summary, this operation will cost me nearly € 600 whereas it was basically just a matter of changing the pressure switch .... congratuation Miele ...
Very poor service, expected better....
Very poor service when something goes wrong with your oven AND dishwasher that are only 6 months old. Very disappointed......
DON'T BUY THESE MACHINES
Just an update, all three machines have now broken in under 4 years from new. they are unrepairable and will have to all be replaced. They have ruined my floor by leaking and flooding and it will cost me thousands to fix the damage. My life has been an unrelenting misery due to these machines, my day to day activities revolving around whatever new kink in their workings they had developed, it has genuinely left me suicidal at times. I'm not being hyperbolic at all. Currently sat here with no clean clothes at all, unable to leave the house to buy basic shopping and take the dog out. The very minimum one could ask for in life unreachable thanks to you.
I would also like to add a shout out to who ever incorporated the endless, soul destroying beeping each and every appliance you make has. I live in a one bedroom flat and even my neighbours can hear it, going on and on and on. It also used to wake me up if I tried to use them at night at the end of it's cycle, when it had cycles, making them day time use only. I am disabled and no one needs this, we can feel when the machines stopped because the floors not shaking any more and the pouring of water onto the floor subsides. Get rid of it you. Not everyone has a giant house.
