We have used Miller Metcalfe Culcheth for both renting and more recently selling our property. They have always found tenants very quickly and also sold our property very quickly. However as part of the sales package they are promoting a company called DC Law who we found completely incompetent. By all means use Millers to sell your property but do not use Their package, get your own solicitors.

Miller Metcalfe recently acted. On my behalf in the sale of my home. They Co-ordinated the sale and kept me well informed about viewings and offers. This made a stressful process easier for me to manage. I would use them again.

As a landlord, I paid MM to install a new boiler, subject to a 5 year warranty which they confirmed by email. Attempting to use the warranty, only 3 years later, MM deny all knowledge of it despite their email being evidence in my favour. They further suggest that the MM dealt with in 2016 is now in Administration and claims should be against them. No help whatsoever.
I would not trust this company any further.

Recently finished our tenancy. Poor communication and a particular member of staff who was very rude and had a bad attitude. Viewings happened whilst we were at work without us knowing prior and a proper apology not even given, the inventory did not get updated (even after sending 5 emails and receiving a confirmation that they had been updated), total lack of communication, told multiple times that information had been passed on to find out that it never had...misleading. Lack of even wanting to help even with simple things such as asking for an email to sort out an issue. Was told multiple times “no can’t help”. Was only until I pressed further and reminded them of their incompetence that they managed to get an email.

It was nearing painful to come and get somebody out and look at a bad leak, which was affecting the whole of the house. There were still jobs that were agreed to be completed when we first moved, that had not even been looked at a year and a half later.

The only time they were efficient was when they wanted our money.

I would never rent again from Miller Metcalfe, due to the lack of care and consideration that we felt from individual staff.

The valuer, Mr Tag, arrived promptly and explained in a professional manner what he needed to do. He was precise and quick. The report was sent in seven days and reflected a fair price. I would highly recommend Miller Metcalfe Surveyors.

Viewed a house amazing help from the guys!

Twice now this company miller metcalfe in Bolton have placed in non paying tenants. The first tenant cost me a fortune in court costs to remove, they overcharged me to change all the locks, and now I am going through the same process all over again and yet face more costs to evict. Please think carefully before appointing this agency to market your property to rent. Very very unhappy customer.
