Poor quality / product not fit for purpose
Multiple emails chasing partial refund which I still haven’t received.
Should have read the reviews before.

I ordered clothing from Mint London, thinking they were a UK company as their website leads you to believe. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I did or I would have seen the thousands of negative experiences. I tried to cancel my order, but they did not let me saying it had already shipped (according to the tracker, it hadn't).

When it arrived, the clothes were poor quality to say the least. I asked about the free UK returns. You have to email them to 'get a return form'. When I did, I was told I would have to return the goods to China at my expense and this would be considerable. Well, it wouldn't have been £17 with Royal Mail but other reviews said that they would then claim not to receive it. However, Mint London offered me a 20% refund and to keep the clothes.

A month later I have not received the refund and I get regular polite but useless emails from customer service assuring me it just takes time and thanking me for my patience. When I ask for evidence the payment has been made or when to expect it they don't answer.

I am now pursuing action through Trading Standards and telling everyone I know on any platform available not to buy from this company.

Ordered dresses in June - they were absolute rubbish. Requested return and was offered to keep dresses with a very 15% reduction! Numerous emails and eventually given return address in CHINA. I was still determined to get my refund of £62 so paid £20.70 to return to China - reducing any possible payment due to me! This happened on 10 June and I still hadn’t had any update - Until today when the parcel was returned to me with a “BOUNCE MESSAGE”. The message was in Chinese so I still have no clue what’s been happening and where it’s been The moral of this story - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!! I had to give One Star but would have preferred to give Minus Five Stars.

Do not use this company. Quality of goods are very poor and cheap fabric. You will NEVER get a refund. After 2 months of promises I had to contact my credit card company. They will scam you!!!

They will take your money and deliver cloths made from substandard material. The return policy is a scam. I received an e mail informing me the cost of returning the item to Asian is expensive and down to me. Furthermore if I am willing to cover the cost , the item must be returned unopened if they are to consider a refund!!!!!

Fortunate to receive refund via credt card company for the 3 very poor quality dresses I purchased.
Beware looks like they have rebranded to
UNITY LONDON selling the same merchandise

Please people , contact your bank regardless of whether you paid by credit or debit card and start a ‘charge back’ .
Was on morning live today . You absolutely can get your money back . Save all your emails to this filthy company as evidence . And then report them !

Applied for refund as poor quality but kept saying as cost to return would cost me a lot would I except 20% which I refused. This kept ongoing and after so long I excepted 70%. But nothing.
I first bought items and applied for refund back in July. It’s still ongoing and it’s 15th sept. It’s obvious this is a fraud company. I’m fuming. The replies I’m getting are obviously from AI.
Never buy from this scam company anyone.

Not deserving of one star. Top arrived but not as described- very cheap material and far too big. I was advised returning would be costly to me as the item was to be returned to Asia!!! I was eventually offered a 25% refund and could keep the item. The firm has rebranded and their website states a 14 day money back guarantee!!!’

Have been promised a paltry 10%, refund. £2.40. Assured me would be in my bank in 3 to 5 working.days, that was 3 weeks ago. Absolutely crap.

This company masquerades as a bona-fide company and I have twice been stung by them and their previous incarnation Mint-London (they are now trading as Unity-London). The first time they sent an item that was at least 2 sizes too small and when I went to return it I discovered that I would have to return it to China at my expense (which would cost me c£30 with no guarantee that I would get the refund anyway). Then they changed their name and I am ashamed to say I was burnt again with an order that has taken over a month and still not arrived. The company will not consider refunding my money for either order. Don't be fooled by their professional looking web site - it is a cover for a factory producing shoddy goods based in China.

I ordered two dresses from Mint London after seeing a very impressive photo on Facebook. The dresses are of a very poor standard. I returned them immediately to the address which was on the package. After 3 messages requesting a refund I have been informed I should have read their return policy which expects you to return the items to Asia!!! What a con. The company should be named and shamed.

Mint has gone into liquidation and now reopened as Unity London. They have also scammed me.Took my order and payment 3 days before notifying me that they were going into liquidation! No mention they were opening as UNITY LONDON...Be warned

Awful experience. 15 emails back and forth over 6 weeks so far, I’m up to being offered a 45% refund (keeping the goods that are substandard) but clearly, I’m wasting my time and energy.Shoddy Temu style goods at Mint Velvet prices! £70 down the drain.
So pleased I didn’t attempt to return the items, reading other reviews on here, seems that adds even more layers of complications.
How do these people sleep at night?!!

Took weeks to arrive thought from uk as website makes you believe,says delivery 3-5 days , shocking quality sizing all wrong. E mail says company gone and no paper work to return if wanted to . Lesson learnt

Not worth the one star. Wish I’d checked out reviews before ordering. After long delivery time, goods not as described, looks quality on website but quality rubbish. Drawn in my what looks like a professional website. Emailed several times and no reply to return, make it harder for you to return with having to ask for address, still waiting reply. Utter rubbish. Looks like I’ll have to learn from a bad mistake and stop ordering from these companies.

It looks like I’ve been deceived like all the other people on here and I’m going to be nearly £200 out of pocket which of course I can’t afford. Yes they’ve offered a part refund but I’m sort of resigned to the fact I’ve lost my money. My bank won’t do anything as I received the goods even though they aren’t fit for purpose

Utter rubbish sent, now months to get any money back. Now saying I owe a customs charge of £13.10 have argued on email and all you get is a rubbish reply back .
This has been going on since May / June 2025 believe me it’s not worth the time and money for such RUBBISH!!!!!

This is a shocking company to use - I can see why they have rebranded!
The delivery took ages, the clothes were nothing like the pictures - one was even a different colour. The material was shocking (and they weren't even cheap).
The refund process was / is terrible - the price you pay / the time /then you have to pay customs! They even tried to give me the clothes and a partial refund!

Do not buy from this company. Waiting for a refund that I’m never going to get.
