I have not written a review before but really appreciated this gentleman's honesty. We have had some really bad experiences with tradesman over the past year. He drove 4.5 hours to give us a quote. He could have charged us £600+ to do tests but didn’t and instead he advised me to run a few checks to guarantee we had an issue and to call him back. Didn’t charge a call out fee which I thought showed real integrity. If you are looking for a professional I would really recommend Barrie. If we have any major issues I would use Miracle Leaks 100%.

I cannot praise the work of Barrie and the Miracle Leak Detection team enough. I had been without central heating for a number of months and they found the issue and resolved it in no time at all. Communication was superb and I was kept in the loop and felt confident throughout. The quality of the work was outstanding and Barrie truly went above and beyond to deliver a great result. From start to finish received a high quality service to fix a very difficult problem.

Firstly there was no call out fee. Barrie came out to assess the problem and gave advice on what to do next. I received a quote by email in pdf clearly breaking down all the costs. The costs were fixed so I would not pay a penny more and backed by a no find no fee guarantee. This gave me great assurance as other companies would not give me a fixed quote leading to the potential of costs driving up once work began.

In total Barrie and his colleague Ross spent two whole days tracking down the leak which was made extremely hard to detect given how a previous builder had run the pipes deep in the ground under the damp proof membrane and concrete floor. They didn’t give up and kept working hard until they found the leak. Despite the difficultly I was very confident they would find the leak after seeing the way they went about doing their work. The job ended up requiring removing floor tiles and drilling into the concrete floor to access and fix the leak. However Barrie and Ross took great care to ensure no further damage happened to the rest of the kitchen.

Payment was taken only after the leak had been found and fixed. I received a detailed report (with pictures) on the completed work which was useful in successfully submitting an insurance claim to cover the costs.

Furthermore once the leak was found it was clear that the pipes were in bad condition and would need replacing completely. Even here Barrie was able to suggest a solution that would minimise the amount of damage and digging to lay the new pipes. So on a separately quoted job I got Barrie to run new plastic pipes and completely disconnected the deeply buried old copper pipe work, giving me peace of mind for years to come.

Overall faced with the difficult situation of a mystery leak, Miracle Leak Detection made the whole process easy to deal with from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them to everybody.

Called Miracle leak on Tuesday arranged Friday morning, and leak found that morning. I have called three different plumbers all who failed to find it one even said it was rising damp! Barrie is very professional has all the equipment: the damage from leak was quite extensive under the concrete slab. Should have called miracle leak 6 weeks ago.

Barry visited the site, provided a fixed price quote for escape of water leak detection and fix service. The job was done to perfection, he led the work with his colleague Ross. The team worked really well, kept me fully informed through out the process. Used high quality replacement parts. After the work was done, they packed up the rubble, left the site probably cleaner than it was before.

I have never come across someone as professional as Barry, he is a master of his skill, takes pride in his work and goes over and beyond to deliver more value than you pay for. One year ago we used miracle leak detection to find the source of a leak in our kitchen ceiling which caused it to collapse. Barrie came to inspect the issue and according to him the damage came from rainfall into a cable hole in the side of our building. Of course we had this hole and every other faulty brickwork issue professionally repaired.

One year later, the same issue has happened again on a dry day. Now we are back to square one.

We had a leak which was extremely difficult to access but Barrie was not going to be beaten. Barrie talked us through what he thought needed to be done and gave us quote which he said would not change. He worked so hard and in a very confined space. It wasn't at all straight forward and took far longer than expected but he was true to his word the price did not change! We don't think many people would have been prepared to do the job he did and we feel very fortunate that we chose Miracle Leak Detection. Would have given many more stars if it were possible.

When I spoke to Barrie about our water leak I was quite panicked and really worried, as water can be so distructive.

Barrie from Miracle Leak was fantastic. He was very accommodating and understanding when I phoned in a panic regarding a leak between my bathroom and boiler cupboard. Barrie was extremely helpful from the start of the process and took the time to explain everything thoroughly to me and provided a very comprehensive works report that has helped me with my insurance company. Barrie was very clean and tidy and even managed to leave me access to a working shower and washing machine which was very much appreciated! I wouldn’t think twice to recommend Barrie in the future.

Barrie attended the same day I first called him but unfortunately the detection and repair to my leak was complicated by the very poor ground conditions. He persevered over several visits whereas other companies would have given up, and came up with a solution that avoided further disruption and delay. He even worked on a Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday to complete the job and reinstate the grounds. Apart from being a very genuine person who knows his trade and will think outside the box, he is thouough, tidy and ensures h&s compliance whilst working. Would 100% recommend.

Barry from Miracle leak was fantastic. He was very clear in all communications. He arrived to the minute and got down to work. He found the leak under our floorboards and then went the extra mile. He crawled through VERY limited access to fix the leak so that none of our floorboards needed to be cut. Other plumbers had refused to do that ! Barry then proceeded to do a thorough clean up before leaving. He then sent through the leak report that was sucessful with the insurance claim.

We recently instructed the miracle leak to find a leak under the floor boards at one of our lettings properties. Its worth mentioning that 3 other companies had been to site to find it and had no luck. The team at Miracle leak found the leak and resolved the issue within half a day! Would highly recommend them!

Major Washing machine hose leak caused my kitchen floor to flood. Barrie helped after getting off the phone and quickly racing to the rescue. Changing the hose and extracted all of the water that had flooded the floor. So happy we found him, really lovely guy….. thank you sooooo much Barrie….

We had a water leak in the wall after my partner put up picture frames in our new apartment and damaged a pipe. We called plumbers all evening and all of them either showed no interest or asked us to wait till tomorrow, it’s not like we would leave a pipe pouring down the wall until the next day!! called and spoke with Barrie and he had his engineer also Barrie out straight away who accessed and repair the pipe with great care. Waking up to a major leak coming up through the hallway wooden flooring this morning wasn't exactly what I had in mind. These guys are true professionals in finding leaks. We had a leak on the mains supply pipe that was using excessive amounts of water. Barrie and his team traced, excavated and repaired the leak all on the same visit, they worked extremely hard and showed a great deal of professionalism keeping me updated throughout the process. I was extremely impressed by these gents, great work.
