This company is a joke. Avoid!

Great brand with such a strong visual identity and I have been a fan since its inception. Well, sadly, not anymore. Tarnished by my experience purchasing my very first pair from this company. They sent me two different sizes which was an obvious mistake on their end. But the lack of accountability baffles me. Tired of the back and forth with their customer services with no agreeable outcome. I shall take my custom elsewhere. For similar styles and craftsmanship, at less, I’d rather go to Myrqvist. Good luck.

Detta omdömde baserar sig främst på den undermåliga kundservicen i samband med köp sv skor. Beställde skor med god marginal då jag skulle till bröllop. Fick dagen efter ett mejl inenhållandes information om att efterfrågan var hög och utifrån dett var leveranstiderna längre än normalt. I sig inget konstigt. Jag vänder mig då till Erik i chatten som ska försöka ordna så att skorna kommer till butiken istället. På så vis hinner jag åka från Örebro till Stockholm och hämta upp dessa. Erik lovar att återkomma, vilket han inte gör. Svarar inte heller på mejl och i chatten. Åker då omvägen förbi butiken som inte har någon koll alls om gör inte någon vidare ansats att kontaka Erik.
Det ska tilläggas att jag tidigare skickat mejl i ett annat ärende som fortfarande är obesvarat. Har köpt ca 5 par skor och de håller ok nivå men servicen och sättet att hantera kunder är undermålig. Av den anledningen endast, så har jag köpt mina sista skor via Morjas.

Terrible fitting, and beware of import taxes

Unfortunately my experience with purchases at Morjas is terribly bad :(
I bought a pair of espadrillas, size 39 following the table of
measurement for espadrillas on the website. They turned out to be very
small and hurting my feet (I know espadrillas are supposed to be tighter in
the beginning as they tend to release a bit overtime, but these were truly
hurting and you could see the bumps of my toes in the front). Had to return
them and pay the return fees cause I am based in Switzerland. Hence, I
decided to purchase this year the 40, also following Morjas recommendation to take two size less than sneakers. These turned out to be too large (my foot literally slips out when I walk). Plus, the right shoe seemed bad quality and to be already worn by somebody. Morjas advised then to buy the canvas espadrilles to which of course I said no to not risk it one more time. I got them to eliminate the return fee on the second pair but still I had to pay the import duties. Don’t buy these shoes unless you can return them free of charge which is not the case in Switzerland.

Import Tax on Morjas Shoes

I purchased a pair of Morjas shoes; sadly, they were too small and undersized, so I returned them and received a refund.

What I wasn’t told was; I would be liable for the import tax on my purchase, this information came from a letter I received from DHL six months later.

After many conversations with DHL; I was then presented with a letter from a collection agency, giving me seven days to pay and an additional £19.50 costs added.

After some google searches I have discovered that any purchase made over £135.00 are liable to these costs!!

I have returned the shoes; so I can legally claim the original import cost back via the HMRC. But not the collection agency costs.

I would urge to avoid this company at all costs, as I they should be displaying the additional costs on there website, as clearly the delivery and returns are not free as they state!!

Another Brexit disaster !!

Shocking customer service, inaccurate sizing guide and a terrible returns policy. Exercise caution when buying, the shoes are overrated too.

BEWARE UK CUSTOMERS OR MORJAS'…

BEWARE UK CUSTOMERS OF MORJAS' MISLEADING & DECEPTIVE PRICING!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of becoming a new UK based customer of Morjas, and I am deeply disappointed with the entire process.
From the misleading pricing to the unprofessional customer service, my encounter with this company has left a sour taste in my mouth. First and foremost, the pricing on the Morjas website is incredibly deceptive.

As a UK customer, I purchased a pair of Belgian loafers based on the advertised price of £199 GBP. Little did I know that this was just the tip of the iceberg. In reality, the shoes cost me a total of £274.80 GBP, including additional charges such as shipping, VAT, and customs fees. The actual price was never truthfully represented on the website, and I felt misled when the final price emerged DHL contacted me requesting additional payment and customs taxes at the delivery stage.

Moreover, the website itself lacks transparency when it comes to pricing. European customers are provided with clear information, stating that the shoes are priced at €279 Euro with free shipping. Yet, UK customers are left in the dark, only to discover hidden charges and discrepancies upon checkout. This disparity in pricing and communication is simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, my attempts to resolve the issue with Morjas' customer service were met with utter disregard and unprofessionalism. Erik, the Head of Customer Experience, failed to address my concerns promptly and even went as far as to ignore some of my emails for days at a time. As a representative of the company, I feel that his behaviour was far from satisfactory and certainly not befitting a position of authority. I also contacted the CEO to make a complaint and, one week later, haven’t had any acknowledgement or response whatsoever.

Although I did receive a refund for the shoes themselves, the fact that I was still charged £25 GBP for shipping on an item I will never receive is nothing short of unfair. Morjas' refusal to refund this amount speaks volumes about their lack of customer-centricity and disregard for customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, my experience with Morjas has been nothing short of disappointing. The misleading pricing, lack of transparency, and unprofessional customer service have left me with a negative impression of the brand. I would strongly advise prospective UK customers to be cautious and perhaps consider alternative options.

From my experience, Morjas has a long way to go in terms of improving their pricing practices, customer communication, and overall commitment to customer satisfaction.

The quality is very poor

The quality is very poor. I ordered a chukka boot and after 4 month they broke. My carmina shoes are after many years still intact.

Never received the product but had to pay for it

I ordered shoes, and they sent me the wrong size. I had to return it, and after an extremely long wait, they said they had delivered a new pair of shoes, which I actually never received. I had to pay them in the end...

I cannot recommend ordering at this company!

Expensive for Bad Shoes

I've bought shoes for half the price that felt much better, don't waste your time in this shop, also their customer service is useless in actual help with problems, only offer info regarding selling products.

Very poor customer service and seemingly low quality products!

Ordered two pairs of their espadrille. Beautiful upon arrival, but after a few days of light wear one pair started falling apart, with the sole leaving the shoe and holes in the stitching between the sole and the suede upper. I have reached out to Morjas three times in the last 30 days, but have heard nothing back! Very poor customer service and seemingly low quality products!

Poor Quality

Fast delivery, but their claimed high quality, is not something I can recognize in the product. In 3 months the laces broke twice, and even though they just send me new ones, this is still not satisfying.
But the biggest concern to me is that the shoes I ordered got a crack in the leather. Morjas' response to this issue was at first, that it was not acceptable for them, that the shoes cracked, but later turned on their own decision, and said that a crack in that spot would be impossible, and could only happen if I stumped my boots into something sharp or blunt, which I didn't do.
So if you want shoes/boots with fast delivery, but apparently with changing quality, go ahead! But I will NOT recommend it.
