Unlike many others who just want to push products, Morris Homes genuinely cared about helping us find the home of our dreams. They achieved what felt impossible for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The house itself is built with high-quality materials, and their aftercare has been outstanding. AVOID, corrupt Customer Care

I was a once happy customer of Morris Homes St Mary's Park until recently when their Customer Care department abandoned me.

The quality of the decorating and finishing is awful in these houses, it is as if a child has done it. Morris Homes sent out their "maintenance team" who somehow made the issues worse, causing DAMAGE to my property. To make the situation worse still, they only showed up for half the time I was promised.

They sent round their customer care manager to my house who played her game well by being apologetic and pointing out the "awful" and "unacceptable" quality of the decorating and promised to make things right. Unfortunately this was all lip service and she was overridden by her keyboard warrior boss, the Head of Customer Care, who has complete contempt for customers.

I was given a small amount of money that would cover at most 3 days for a professional painter to put things right. Not even enough to fix the DAMAGE caused to my property by their team. The Head of Customer Care outright refused to come out and take a look for himself, is he scared of his judgement being proven wrong?

In addition to the poor decorating, they have outright refused to replace my dying front grass that is laid on unprepared soil (it's like walking on the moon it's that bad). They sent round a lazy contractor who did not even do a proper inspection and soon after denied to do anything, simply closing the case.

When someone from customer care came out to look at my decorating, she called the front grass "unacceptable". They have tried all sorts of excuses to avoid what they know is the right thing to do, however for them it's all about money. Of course, the Head of Customer Care is doing his usual tricks of hiding behind his keyboard, even refusing to give me a phone call or come out and look for himself.

He said if I was unhappy with his decision I could make a "formal complaint". I asked who deals with these and he replied "he does". It's an absolute JOKE.

Morris Homes' practices are completely corrupt and they think they can get away with abandoning customers. It's now all about the money for them, as they are trying to recoup their £15 million loss last year. Little do they know, annoying your customers is not a good way to sell overpriced houses.

This is a real shame as everyone on the sales side is lovely and a credit to the company, however power hungry individuals in management ruin the whole experience.

As someone who is in the market to buy more property, Morris Homes were going to potentially get more of my money, but never again now.

Shelbourne@ Hunsbury Grange, Northampton

We’ve just reserved our new home at Hunsbury Grange in Northampton. Jess and Lynne, the sales advisors, are both lovely! They are always smiling, knowledgeable about the development and surrounding areas, incredibly helpful and best of all, they have the patience of saints! They seem genuinely delighted for us and we know they’ll look after us along the way!

Blown away by the service we had from…

Blown away by the service we had from Megan on Alconbury Weald. She was very busy but made time for my family who didn’t have an appointment. Megan is clearly very knowledgeable of Morris homes and nothing was too much trouble.

We've just bought a new home with Morris and the service we have had from Julie at Greenmount Manor has been first class. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was explained really clearly, the whole experience has been great.

A personal way of doing business

I have been very impressed with Megan and her team at Alconbury Weald. They have provided first class service, always with a smile and genuine care. Morris in general have proven themselves to be a fantastic company who recognise the person, not just the business deal. I have had difficulties with my buyer pulling out last minute. Many other businesses would have treated this as a business transaction gone wrong and moved on. Not Morris. They have been supportive throughout and made a difficult situation easier. I may not get my Morris home that I dreamt of, through no fault of Morris, but I would highly recommend their service. They should be commended on their personal way of doing business- a rare quality to be found these days.
Thank you Morris. I've still got my fingers crossed things work out so I can complete this little dream with your company.

Amazing from the start

Amazing from the start. Chris has been amazing down to earth, approachable and made our dreams come true. He has gone over and above for us and always at the end of the phone. Made the experience of moving home so much easier with the part exchange, and made it happen. Can’t wait until we move in! 100% recommend.

Exceptional Customer Service

We have recently reserved a plot at Arkall Farm. To which we have been support by Chris throughout the process. Chris has been extremely accommodating, meeting our requirements in a professional and personable manner, making the process more enjoyable, to which would usually be a stressful time. As we continue through our purchase, Chris has maintained a high level of contact with ourselves and supporting when required, aiding with progressing the process forward. Thus far we are extremely happy with Morris Homes and Chris services in particular - thank you Chris.

Exceptional Service from Ann at Morris Homes Northampton

We recently visited a Morris Homes development and had the pleasure of being assisted by Ann. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She really took the time to listen to our queries and made every effort to answer all of our questions—nothing was too much trouble.

What truly set Ann apart was her patience and thoroughness. At no point did we feel rushed; she spent a great deal of time with us, explaining everything in clear detail and ensuring all of our queries were fully addressed. Her knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding.

Thanks to Ann’s approachable and supportive manner, our experience was not only informative but also genuinely enjoyable.

Customer service how it should be!

We have nothing but praise for Morris Homes. Their care and consideration in customer service truly set them apart from many other developers, and for us, that made all the difference. Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you can make, and feeling genuinely valued in that process is priceless.

Unlike other developers who treated us like just another walk-in, our experience with Morris Homes at Deerwood Fold was refreshingly personal. From the moment we met Trish R., we felt welcomed. Her warmth and genuine interest made it easy to sit down and openly discuss our situation and what we were looking for in a home.

Trish was incredibly patient with our endless questions and really took the time to understand what we needed and how Morris Homes could help us achieve it. Knowing we could drop in at any time and be met with a smile and real support was especially reassuring, particularly as first-time buyers.

The homes themselves are beautifully built with real living in mind, not just designed to squeeze in as much space as possible, as you often see with larger developers. You can feel the thought and care that has gone into both the design and build of these homes.

We’re proud to be moving forward with Morris Homes. It’s clear they’ve put the buyer first at every step, from design to customer service.

Very helpful staff

We visited The Orchards to look at the show homes and a nearly-complete house. Rob did an excellent job showing us around and answered all of our questions. The houses look to be finished to a very high spec and the development looks great, but sadly there Isn’t one available in the near future that meets our needs.
