So far everything is excellent
We have just reserved our new house and chosen all the colours for kitchen, flooring, bathrooms etc. Julie could not have been more helpful and patient.
She talked us through all the plans so we know exactly what we are getting.
If the standard of the build is as good as the customer service we will be very happy buyers

Hi Morris Home. When shall I expect my road to get surfaced in Houlton Rugby? It's been 3 years since I moved in, 7 months since you completed your build. You surfaced all the roads around our house except ours. Kids are getting hurt, moms with babies are tripping, cars are getting damaged, houses are loosing value.
Pathetic that your team doesn't respond to emails or calls. Don't trust the ratings here

Very good quality houses and very good customer service. The after sale customer care also very good, but they are not an emergency service, so they will repair any issue within 2-3 weeks. Their service cover the first 2 years of the house

Moved in 2 weeks ago, olwyn first showed us around, so professional and helpful, then lizette Debbie and Wendy, very reassuring at a stressful time got us to our move in day, so lovely and helpful, what a team, many thanks to those lovely ladies. After move in day we were introduced to toby , after care was fantastic, nothing too much trouble, any small snags have been dealt with, he kept us informed at all times, thank-you to toby and ken onsite, the workmen on site are polite, helpful and always keep the site clean, we love our new home and appreciate the help from all the staff at morris homes , gay & john
Shelbourne Estates (Orchards)
Review for Shelbourne Estates (part of Morris group), Orchards development.
Top tips for interacting with Shelbourne:
1. Put everything into writing (especially anything relating to incentives and choices), do not trust anything the sales team says verbally.
2. Take photos of all signed documents. This will be helpful if needed for a future dispute.
3. Be organised as they won't be. Store all important docs together. Double check any docs the sales team produce such as spec and choice docs.
4. Get a professional snagger if you haven't done it before. Take time to do this properly as you have a narrow window to get snags dealt with quickly and easily by the site team.
5. Stay as long as possible with the site team to resolve snags since once you get handed over to customer care, they are slow and resistant.
6. For customer care, escalate issues as high up as you can and raise a formal complaint.
7. Speak to neighbours and raise common issues collectively.
Review of Shelbourne Estates, Orchards:
The good: structurally well built homes, well insulated, look nice from outside, not packed together, green spaces & plants & ponds, site builders.
The bad: completely disorganised sales team, manual forms and processes that are outdated and lead to human errors e.g. choices, abysmal customer care after handover from site team (slow, passive, half hearted apologies without any action), not enough storage space throughout particularly at hallway, all plots had issues with underfloor heating and plumbing.
The ugly: changes made to plot after we signed the plans that we were not made aware of, sales team tried to back track on our incentive (did the same for our neighbour also), everything is a battle with Shelbourne/Morris customer care.

Carol and vic where really informative and helpful nothing was too much trouble for the girls and they answered all my questions in detail would highly recommend these two for anyone that wants to go and view a morris homes house
Morris Homes St Mary's Park, Penworthham
Bought my home at St Mary's Park,it's a lovely development and Carol the sales manager as been a amazing took all my stress and worries away everytime I thought there was going to be a problem, as I was taking so long to exchange due to circumstances out of my control but Carol was there to tell me not to worry and everything would be ok. Never once did Carol or head office put pressure on me they have been a delight and would recommend them to anyone.

Shelbourne Estates, Arden Park
We’ve visited Arden Park now several times since April and on each occasion received a warm welcome from Tracey, the Sales Advisor for Shelbourne. We have had a couple of ‘walkabouts’ with her and found her to be extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. Nothing has been too much trouble and we now hope to secure our plot on what is looking to be a very nice development.

As first time buyers we came into the processing not knowing a lot. Carol and Vic were extremely helpful at each stage of the process and always there to help us with a friendly face. No matter how busy they were they always had time to sit down and walk us through anything we needed help with. We have now completed the process and moved into our lovely first home, the experience has been amazing and I would always recommend Morris Homes to anyone wanting a new build.
Hannah at Rivington Park
Hannah at Rivington Park, Lancashire was a pleasure to deal with when coming to view houses initially. She gave great outsider perspective on our personal house buying situation and insider knowledge on the Morris homes estates. She was never rude or treated us like we were too young (despite being in our 30s plenty of housing companies treat us like children instead of guiding and helping like Hannah did with all things new build!) we appreciated her time and advise - although the remaining plot is not for us, we will keep in contact with Hannah and hopefully buy in future. She was never pushy- she respected our decision and I will be happy to hear from her again when the next phase begins build. Thanks Hannah.

Carol and Vic were both fantastic, they took time to understand my position and give me details about the development and the local area. It remains to be seen if I can find a suitable property on St Mary's Place, but if the other developments by Morris are half as good as carol and Vic then it's safe to assume my next home will be a Morris home!

Megan was very helpful when we popped in at the weekend without an appointment. Gave us a lot of information about Alconbury Weald and facilities, currently and upcoming. This was really useful as we don’t know the area that well.
