There are so many motorbike tour companies running trips in the Himalayas, how do you know which one to choose. Just finished the 15 day trip, every day was fantastic. Hard to pick my favourite, wish I could do any one of them again tomorrow! Akshay was friendly and easy to deal with! Tour guide Amit ( the best of the mountains) never let us down. He took us to the highest of highs, whilst building us up gradually to achieve it. Pranav ( Custom, Bruno) our mechanic changed a tyre so quickly I didn’t have time to get my breath back. Nitin our photographer went to extremes to take fantastic pictures of us all. Lucky our back up driver kept us lucky. The riding was challenging enough to be remembered but the team at Motorbike Expeditions ensure all skill levels on the tour had good support and help.

I had an absolutely amazing experience on this motorbike tour and couldn't have been happier with how everything was run. The route was the perfect combination of challenging dirt sections and classic Indian mountain roads—expect plenty of surprises, incredible scenery, and riding that keeps you smiling all day.

The highlight of the trip was crossing Sach Pass in Himachal Pradesh. At around 4,420 meters (14,500 feet), it's one of India's most adventurous mountain passes, with rocky tracks, steep climbs, river crossings, and breathtaking Himalayan views. Since it's only open for a few months each year due to heavy snowfall, riding it felt like a real privilege.

The whole team was fantastic. The guides were experienced, supportive, and clearly passionate about riding. The bikes were well maintained, the pace was fast (just how I like it!), and everything was professionally organized from start to finish.

If you're looking for a genuine adventure with an epic mix of off-road riding, twisty mountain roads, and unforgettable scenery, I can't recommend this tour highly enough. It exceeded all my expectations, and I'd happily book another ride with them.

This was an unforgettable Himalayan motorcycle trip (14–24 June 2026) with Motorbike Expeditions. Myself (Anthony) and four great mates – Phil, Simon, Rick and Terry – took a leap of faith when we booked a Himalayan motorcycle adventure with Motorbike Expeditions. When you've never done anything like this before, you're putting your money, your time, and a great deal of trust into something completely unknown.

After spending 15 days riding through the Himalayas with the Motorbike Expeditions team, I can honestly say we had absolutely nothing to worry about.

I've travelled extensively and participated in many organised tours over the years, but I have never been more impressed by a group of people so genuinely dedicated to ensuring their guests have the best experience possible. From the moment we started our ride until the day we had to say goodbye, every detail was handled with professionalism, care and genuine enthusiasm.

Each morning the bikes were prepared, lined up and ready to go. Every evening they were meticulously checked and maintained. Throughout the ride, the support team was always there – whether it was making sure we were hydrated, handing out snacks, checking on everyone's wellbeing, or simply sharing a laugh after a long day in the saddle. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Your professionalism, humour, dedication and friendship turned an amazing motorcycle trip into an experience that none of us will ever forget. Every one of you left a lasting impression on our group, and we will always be grateful for the memories you helped create.

Quite simply, it was the trip of a lifetime.

I have travelled extensively and ridden motorcycles in many parts of the world, but this Ladakh expedition with Motorbike Expeditions was genuinely one of the most extraordinary adventures I have ever experienced.

Over nine incredible days, we rode through some of the most remote and spectacular landscapes on earth. From the Atal Tunnel and Shinkula Pass to the stunning Zanskar Valley, Pangong Lake, Hanle and finally Umling La, the highest motorable road in the world, every day felt like something out of a documentary.

What impressed me most was the professionalism of the team. The road captain was knowledgeable, safety conscious and always ensured the group stayed together. The support vehicle, mechanic, oxygen support and logistics were exceptionally well organised, which allowed us to focus entirely on the riding and the experience.

The routes were challenging enough to be exciting, with off-road sections, water crossings and high-altitude mountain passes, but the team managed everything so well that riders of varying experience levels felt comfortable and supported.

The accommodation and meals exceeded my expectations given the remoteness of many locations. Most importantly, the team created an atmosphere where complete strangers quickly became friends sharing a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

If riding to the roof of the world is on your bucket list, I can wholeheartedly recommend Motorbike Expeditions. This was not just a motorcycle tour. It was a life experience that I will remember forever.

I did a lot of research and based on feedback and YouTube videos I chose Motorbike expeditions for hopefully the adventure trip of a lifetime. I cannot speak highly enough of the team and the service levels far exceeded my expectations. The bikes were all in very good condition and well maintained. After each day’s ride, the bikes were inspected, washed and prepared for the next day’s ride. Each evening and morning we would receive an informal but very informative briefing highlighting what to expect for the days ride. Nothing was an issue, the bikes were setup for each rider and any issues were dealt with so quickly. Each morning the team were always there with a smile handing out bottles of water and helping the riders anyway they could. The backup bike and cameraman seemed to be everywhere catching all the action and sharing the fantastic photos and videos taken each day with the riders. Words cannot do justice to Motorbike Expeditions expertise, service and the tailored routes through the spectacular scenery. If you want a carefree true adventure, I have no hesitation in recommending Motorbike Expeditions

An exceptional journey to Bhutan for our group of seven from Estonia. The entire preparation of the trip was handled by Akshay in a very smooth and well-organized manner. The trip itself exceeded all expectations in every way – organization, professional guidance, and overall execution by Amit, Been, and the whole team.
Although Bhutan may feel like a distant and unfamiliar destination for Europeans, they made it easy to understand, safe, and truly unforgettable for us.

I arrived in Kathmandu 2 days before the tour and met a group of guys who had just finished the same tour.
They told me we were in for something special but little did we know just how special it would be.
Not one single complaint about the trip from the day I made my first inquiry to the sad day I left to come home.
Motorbike Expeditions exude professionalism and have selected amazing staff to accompany you on your journey. They could not bend over far enough to make us happy. Nothing was to hard for them. Nepal has no boring bits. Zero!!! Every corner ( and there were 1000’s of them )opens up a new vista. Every 100 metres climbed or descended changes your surrounding dramatically. From snow covered Himalayas to the raging rivers in the valleys below and every stunning landscape or village in between Nepal rocked my world. It’s every epic bike ride you have ever done rolled up into a 2 week highlight package. MOTORBIKE EXPEDITIONS is the only way to go. JUST DO IT

Our 12-day Nepal expedition with Motorbike Expeditions was truly a world-class experience. Riding through the Mustang Valley from Kathmandu was a dream come true, made even more special by sharing the journey with my son, Herman, and his friends, Celester, Keegan, and Andy. The camaraderie on the road was incredible; it was wonderful catching up with old friends Mark and Bruce while forming new bonds with Doug, Neil, Alan, and Dean.

The success of this trip was entirely due to the outstanding crew. Our Road Captain, Amit, navigated us through challenging terrain with expert precision, while Ujjwal, our Sweeper, ensured no rider was ever left behind. Nihal, the cameraman, captured breathtaking shots of the Himalayas that we will treasure forever. Ramesh, our mechanic, was a wizard with the Royal Enfields, keeping them in peak condition, and Lucky, our recovery driver, gave us complete peace of mind throughout the rugged trails.

From the technical off-road sections near Muktinath to the serene lakeside views in Pokhara, every detail was perfectly organised. Second time with ME, fabulous tour of Nepal, staff were great/friendly/polite/professional. We were in a mixed group, ride conditions were therefore designed to suit all types, but a great mix of tarmac, bad roads and mud tracks, suspension bridges definitely a highlight.

The organisation from booking to completing the expedition was top class. The team worked so hard to make the journey amazing on every level. It was first journey of this type and felt relaxed throughout. There were challenging moments but all supported by the team. A once in a life time experience I plan to repeat many times! 😝😝😝
