The installation by Jamie was excellent, ahead of schedule and he was very helpful.

I am so grateful to Ian at Mr. Solar for diagnosing and sorting problems with my solar system which hadn’t been working properly since a rogue company had fitted batteries wrongly and mis-wired the system over 2 years ago. Another company failed to notice the major faults and gave me very poor advice on their annual inspections. I searched for a company familiar with Sunsynk batteries and contacted Mr. Solar. Within a couple of days Ian had inspected the system and made a detailed report. He costed and discussed the revisions necessary and advisable. His clear explanations and support were invaluable. His team were friendly and efficient including Nadine who kept me informed about timetables.
Now it all seems to be working safely and efficiently.
Lesson learned - check the company you use is properly certified for the work you need doing!

Whilst quoting for a battery for our Sunsynk solar panel system Ian (Mr Solar) detected it had been incorrectly programmed by the initial installer 3 years ago.
This accounted for why we were not exporting much surplus energy back to the grid. Ian speedily reprogrammed our system to solve that problem.
His team have fitted a battery on an external wall and have moved the inverter from the loft to sit adjacent to the new battery.
We are very pleased with the outcome and are glad to have chosen a local installer. All work was completed within 2 weeks of the initial site visit.

Well what can I say?..... Fantastic company who really care about you, from Ian and the loverly nadine to the whole team who fitted my solar panels and tesla battery, price is very competitive I will say, but what a joy to experience such a delightful company, a family run business with definitely that family feel, you want the best then contact these people, and no I wasn't paid to say any of the above.... Wish I was 😂.....

Our Givenergy Solar system experienced a total system communications loss and had shut down. Ians experience and willingness to work through the various issues well into the evening resulted in system restoration within 24 hrs! We were extremely pleased with Ians experience and open, honest approach.

I had an existing solar system with lead acid batteries which no longer worked. I contacted Ian at Mr Solar and he was extremely helpful. He visited us and explained all the options and advised us what was best for us whilst still maintaining our original FIT tariff. They kept us updated regularly and we had a pre installation visit from Matthew (Installer). The installation of the Sunsync system was done to a professionally high standard. I shall be recommending this company to my friends and colleagues

My workmanship warranty has now expired after spending 10k with Mr Solar two years ago. My 4 of my solar panels have just developed a fault that needs fixing under the manufacture warranty. I asked Mr Solar for help, offering to pay him his labour. Mr Solar informed me they don't carry out that type of work after the workmanship warranty has expired. We got told by Mr Solar "any diagnosis, warranty administration, or remedial work required after the expiry of our workmanship warranty falls outside the scope of our installation agreement". We weren't even given any support to claim on the manufacture warranty which was in place.
We had recently had a second installation of solar panels fitted but we chose to buy from another supplier due to a better price. This was installed entirely independent from Mr Solar's work but this was another reason stated why he would not help support us get things back up and running. The 4 solar panels that stopped working were supplied by Mr Solar.
I highly recommend doing your research, it's a lot of money to spend, especially if you are to left with no support when your solar system goes wrong and you are outside their workmanship warranty.

Had a new inverter installed and decided to add a battery to our system. Nadine was really helpful and Matt who fitted the system always had a smile on his face. Very tidy and already seeing the benefit of a battery. I highly recommend Mr Solar for quality equipment and workmanship.

Mr Solar (Ian) was extremely helpful when I had a problem I did not understand with my inverter settings. He got to the bottom of it and dealt with it swiftly

Mr solar installed solar panels and battery to our house. Ian explained our options and gave good, knowledgeable advice on what we needed. The installation was a stress free experience thanks to Nadine and the installers, who kept us informed throughout. We would highly recommend this company.

Completion within two weeks of initial enquiry, total professionalism from Ian and Nadine, no hidden extras on a very fair quote, throughly pleased with system, onsight workers were courteous and worked really hard to complete installation in two days, would certainly recommend Mr Solar very highly.

I have been having problems with the GivEnergy app for some time it spent more time off than on,I called Ian (mr solar) he was so helpful he told to make sure my Wi Fi was running on 2.4 ghts it wasn’t it was on 5ghts I changed it to 2.4
Now the app is working again.

I know I put a negative comments about Mr solar. Well I spoke to Ian and he told me i was using the power from my panels wrong so now he after explaining the issue I have nothing but good things about the solar panels.

Ian was very informative about the complete installation with no pressure whatsoever. Charlie and Alistair the installers worked extremely hard and left our home as they found it. Russ the electrician fitted inverter,batteries and wiring neatly. Would highly recommend Mr Solar and his team.

Had a great experience with Mr Solar. Conducted the survey and discussed what I wanted from the system. Cam back with a couple of options. Following a couple of requested changes, they came up with a solar, battery and EV charger option that met my needs. I had a few quotes, and these were competitive and flexible on the installation date. While there were a couple of issues with wrong items delivered, they resolved that and communicated very well. I am glad I went with them, and would definitely recommend them to others.

I had a new inverter fitted last November as the old one failed on one bank. Rang Mr Solar. He came round within 48 hours and diagnosed the problem and gave us a good price for a new inverter which was fitted within a matter of a couple of days. Some weeks later I had a battery fitted. Now I have another battery as well. Ian and his team our very polite and with no hard sell tactics. Now thinking of anorher battery giving me three in total.
Mr Solar (Ian) will be looking after my system from now on.

We had a system installed by Mr Solar and his team, in early September, comprising 20 panels and 9.5kWh battery plus sundry materials. Installed within two days, scaffolding up for a few more.
The price was £3.6k less than a main electricity provider.
The quote process was quick and efficient; Ian visited to discuss the solution, which was followed up with an electrician's survey immediately after we decided to proceed.
Nadine liaised closely concerning delivery/installation dates. Our initial enquiry was made on 5th August, received quote and gave instruction to proceed on 12th August, installation completed on 4th September.
Can't fault the installers: electrician Russ and roofer Luke plus his team. They are all really nice, respectful, professional blokes who did a very neat job.
We're really pleased with our solar installation, and actively monitor the GivEnergy app to check the status.
Also, it's nice to know that we will have the technical support of Ian (Mr Solar) if we ever need it.
We would highly recommend.
