Ordering a tool that was showing in stock, we paid for next day delivery with DPD. It didn't turn up so we called you and you told us that the tool was not in stock and you was waiting for them as you had to order them . Why show stock as in stock to order , when clearly it isn't ?

Excellent! Shame about the packaging.
This was the first time that I have used MSC and have found them excellent in nearly every respect. I was looking to purchase some sash clamps and MSC came up in my search. They had exactly what I wanted at a remarkably low price. I emailed the company to query if the stock levels shown on the website reflected their actual stock. I got a very prompt response indicating that the website displayed live stock levels. Placing my order was very straightforward and the clamps arrived as promised the next day. My only complaint was that the clamps could have been packaged better. They were packaged solely in bubble wrap. Owing to the weight of the clamps, they had broken through the packaging. Fortunately, except for some chipped paint, there was no significant damage. I think that perhaps a little more thought could have been given to the packaging and hence only 4 stars and not 5. Overall, I still found the experience overwhelmingly positive and would definitely use MSC again.
