Murray & Currie Avis 

Murray&Currie is a so professional company.
So far, we are happy with the service.
They do response quickly for any problems and concerns, and deal with it even far than we expected.
Basically, all what I have to say about it, is that " it's a professional company"

Murray & Currie have been nothing but a pleasure! Would absolutey reccomend to anyone looking for a place to live

Im giving 3 rating because of the following

* The debt on electricty and gas were not cleared before tenancy and i had to clear them ( and awaiting refund )

* The inventory and issues fix were not done prior to tenancy and had to chase. Few issues are still to be fixed.

I found my experience dealing with Murray & Currie quite good. I’ve arrived from a different country and felt at ease with the professionalism and timely responses from Stephen Livingston in arranging my rental property.

The process to view my property was difficult owing to poor communication. I had a committed time and date as I was flying up to Scotland, only for this to be changed at short notice to a new date when I wasn’t in Scotland! I was not informed covid was the reason. The rescheduled “virtual” appointment did not happen as the agent asked if I was still attending in person 3 days later (when no longer in Scotland). If covid were the reason I’m not sure 3 days quarantine is long enough to justify covid as the excuse for the delayed viewing (but this could be tenant issue, not agent). However I marked the agents down 1 star as the comms is what disappointed me.

That said, The team at Murray are very nice.

The move in process was a super easy.

I waited a week for the inventory. Again I blame poor comms here as I wasn’t chased for the inventory but noted that the inventory states that I agree with it if I don’t respond with a week!! Potentially leaving me open to claims when I move out. The agents claim to have sent, I claim not to have received. So who is right? Again, I think a process or comms adjustment is required otherwise tenants won’t know what they haven’t received and could be held liable.

We had no problems from booking a viewing to moving in 😁

Fast response and good customer experience

The renting process was smooth, and they helped to fix the problems in the flat when we moved in. It is very easy to communicate with them.

Everything from viewing to collection of keys went really well without any hitches and all correspondence with Murray and Currie staff has been excellent, would highly recommend.

The whole process is nice and smooth. Response time is very fast. Feeling is good!

Communication has been smooth & organised so far, relative to the other agencies we use in UK.

The service is very good but I used to get better feedback as to the condition of my rental property and this hasn't been done so good recently.

I took a picture of my door frame that needed fixing and got no feedback if it was repaired or not which was a bit off putting as I like to assured the the rental is in good condition.

have been with this company for a few years and allways been good at getting things done. having said that i have a problem tenant and there is not much movement that end i feel that the tenants say and do as they like and i just have to sit and wait for them to leave.i personally think more should be done for the owner in these dark days.good tenants are great but the bad ones leave a lot to be desired.all my bills go up the same as everyone else and to be told that they can give me the notice they want is far from good as i have just spent £10000 on putting another one back to habital use and no rent forth comming. this is the bad side of renting out your property and agents dont do enough for the owners.
