Absolutely love the contents of the crates and always worth every penny.

Ok this is my opionion on muscle crate, overall the products are value for money especially on pre workout products that are of a high end £20 - £25, or a protein powder which is of good value, a can or bottle of energy/ protein drink, a snack or 2 and some samples. Now sometimes you will recieve a box which dosen't suit your needs for example resistance band, liquid chalk and a drink cannister which i would never pay £9.99 for (i checked online and this product was £9.99) so yes you can go to B&M and get products of the same for cheaper BUT not of the same quality. I myself subscribe to Muscle crate and when i get low on protein powder i buy from B&M, but be careful there is a lot of high sugar content powders on the shelf, so take your time and READ the labels first before buying. Another issue is the delivery date is not constant, ive found my product can arrive begining, middle,or even at the very end of the month, so you need a back up supply if you use protein powder every day. Overall im happy with my products as i get to use high quality items and samples (which saves you from buying full size product first ) and the odd one which i don't,so until something changes dramatically i will continue to become a regualar customer.

I genuinely think most of these reviews are fakes or by competitors. Anyone who says the boxes aren't worth the price need to give their head a wobble. I've had 6 boxes now with full size EAAs (worth £25) or a wide range of pre workouts (£20-25 each) and a full size tub of protein (£20). So just the main product itself is worth the price of the box. Usually also comes with about 5 samples or bars too at probably £2 each.
Its definitely pre-workout focused which may not be ideal for some people, but realistically you definitely get what you pay for.
People complaining you can't cancel are even more daft, just cancel with your bank...

I was contacted 2 days after placing an order for a pre-workout and was told the item I ordered was out of stock so I accepted the substitute which was of greater value and was promised it would be sent on a next day service... 2 days later it was sent using Yodel (one of the worst carriers) and took another 3 days to get delivered. I contacted customer service a further 3 times and have been ignored.
Would not recommend this company at all!
Slow delivery, lying about which postal services they use and will not respond to your emails. AVOID!

It's a scam, they don't tell you that you can't cancel until you have paid for a second box, I'm pretty sure you can get the whole box from home bargains for about £7.

When you try to cancel they are quick to tell you you can't even though it's in their marketing that you can.

Says on website can cancel anytime. I was extremely unimpressed by my first box, the items weren’t even worth the price with the new subscriber discount. I tried to cancel, and it states that you have to pay for a minimum of 2 boxes before you’re allowed to cancel. Granted it’s in the T&Cs.. but no where on the website states this, and the ‘cancel anytime’ plastered anywhere is extremely misleading. I now can’t get through to anyone to cancel, seem to be running round in circles. Very unimpressed and a complete waste of both time and money.

Seriously incompetent . I can understand errors occurring bit when you combine errors with awful customer service (non response in two weeks despite multiple messages and them stating they respond in 48hrs).

Avoid as even if they do process stuff right the products you get are worth about £10-15 bought from B&M

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for over 2 weeks now with very little feedback and the use of delay tactics employed by the so called customer service desk is frankly a joke. I hope that this is not something all customers experience and this is a one off. Not happy

Had one box which was barely worth the cost so decided to cancel. The cancellation page of the website said I'd have to email so I did this several times with no response. Then I received TWO separate dispatch notices and when I checked my account it was showing TWO subscriptions. I emailed again and guess what? No reply. Tried Facebook messenger and posting on their page, no reply. I've been charged twice for 2 identical boxes I don't want and no one is getting back to me and there is no option to cancel on the website despite the FAQs stating you can. I'm disgusted by this company and recommend that they are avoided.

Impossible to cancel subscription. I've emailed this company multiple times to cancel my order but they won't, basically. I've had responses including 'Can you email us on Friday to cancel' which I did and they haven't responded and sent another box the following day! Had to ring my bank to stop anymore payments. Avoid this scam company

What an absolute waste of money. I signed up for the trial box which is £9.99 (half price) plus £2.99 with post and packaging. The crate took 10 days to arrive, although states on their website it will arrive in 3 days. Upon receiving the crate i got a protein shaker, x2 protein powder sachets, x1 protein bar, x1 monster energy drink and 5 servings of a pre workout ALTHOUGH they claim you get a full size item, which should have been my preworkout tub, it is infact only an incredibly small 5 servings tub. The entire box is supposedly worth £35+ according to their website and promotional material however the value of the box is hardly worth half of that. The customer service is appalling and when asking to cancel my subscription i was informed that i HAVE to pay for a 2nd crate at full price before i can cancel which is just an absolute joke and the most utterly disgusting way to force repeat custom out of dissatisfied customers!!! Out of respect for yourself and the money you work hard for... DO NOT BUY FROM MUSCLE CRATE!!!!! They will trap you into a repeat membership and if you complain they just stop replying to your emails.

Be very careful!! The company’s confirmation statements and years books are overdue!! Looks like they are OUT of business! Don’t want anyone else to get stung

There is no option for zero stars. Definitely give this ‘cancel anytime’ subscription service a miss and buy from a local shop instead.

Company is full of lies and false promises,
I was excited for my first box and it never turned up, I contacted them and they promised to send a replacement, still no tracking number was provided even after promising so.
They then said they would send 2 boxes together (2 months worth) well they never arrived either.
Typical rip off crud like most these online company’s.

Always full of great products & found I didn’t really need to buy protein powder while I had the subscription. Worth the money. Tho I can’t use a few of the pre work out powders due to allergies but still a great buy

So the first box came and that was okay for the introductory price of £10 .

The second box came and the value I researched came too £19.
I gave a itemised breakdown to customer services who said the box retails more than that

The thing is it doesn’t because I researched each item and it totalled £19 that is retail price not including the bulk discount they would get for buying items on mass.

There main webpage states the values of the box will be £35+.

Unless the cardboard box is valued at £16 then it’s pure likes marketing shambles

I've had a brief but positive experience with musclecrate - I can see that there are some negative reviews on here but perhaps this was down to the ongoing pandemic and things are now improving for them? (Playing devils advocate here...). I took up an offer of '£10 off your first crate' email I received and whilst there was a slight delay in shipping, it soon arrived within a week and contained in excess of £30 worth of stuff - not bad for just over £10! Not long after i then also received my first full-price subscription crate. This time another good haul, but closer to the £20 monthly subscription amount, but still in excess of the money paid so good value for money in my opinion. The contents I've received so far seem to centre around 1 large item, usually a bag of protein worth £15-£20 along with samples of either pre-workout or BCAAs plus a couple of protein bars/snack and a ready made drink of some description. You have to remember this isn't designed to provide you with your months worth of protein/supplements but more a 'try before you buy' sample supply. Let be honest for regular supplement takers, things can get a bit boring/repetitive so its nice to have something delivered that mixes it up. I think there's enough variation to keep it interesting and no one month has been the same. Unfortunately I have had to stop my subscription due to personal circumstances - emailed them today and by this evening had received a reply and confirmation this was done. Just my personal experience, but couldn't fault them.

Initially I had issues with the resistance bands in the welcome box which broke pretty quickly, customer service appeared helpful but never actually resolved it.
HOWEVER, the nutrition products in all future boxes have been excellent and only one repeat product which was a specific prework out .. gonna sell it on ebay though so can't really complain. Each box seems to come with one full size item and multiple samples.. often stuff thats too expensive for me to buy the full size though.
