Found an ad on Facebook. Thought would give a try! needed bands, fancied trying ON protein for a Change as was running low from the usual and thought great way to test a flavour. And also the pre workout in the pack looked worth a go after a Google. Ordered on the 9th - shows up on the 20th so not a great start. Box has bands but they've swapped the gold standard whey for amino energy and the 2 pre workouts for 2 single sachets of vegan protein. If I'd known I'd have got these bits I'd never have ordered. Shame really I thought would be a good concept and a thing I would like and use but don't fancy each month being palmed off with rubbish and getting it 11 days later, they say bands are £30 but not a chance you can get on ebay for £13. Id think the first order to retain subscription would be to offer what they expected or go over to retain & not underwhelm and deter

The box did come and did have some reasonable qualities good within it however only two of the five were as advertised and not at the same value as their original products.

The shipping time is completely false advertised, I ordered on the 7th of May and received my order on the 20th after numerous emails asking about shipping time it would always exceed what they stated would not advice subscription if you are impatient or have high expectations.

However on one positive end it was very easy for me to cancel my subscription thanks to who seems to be well known as the only customer service member ‘Milly’ of which I’ve got to give credit to working but the company as a whole, well its a shambles.

Boxes are value for money, never had any issues. Cancelled as the gym is shut. Cancelling was easy, not sure why people are complaining, probably wanted free stuff lol.

Will be back once the gym opens, as they always have a great selection of supplements and workout gear.

Received a mouldy pre-workout and didn't even get an apology from 'Milly' - their only customer service advisor.
They buy cheap tat off of Wish and sell it at a higher price. Not only that, but they take weeks to ship one box; slower than any other subscription box I've bought.
I should've read the reviews first!

This company will not let you cancel your subscription on your own terms, you must email there customer service to cancel and then give you an excuse why you can't cancel such as, " because your package has not been shipped, i can't cancel your subscription as stated in our T&C";

It says nothing in the T&C about that in fact it states the exact opposite.

Leaving me with the only option to cancel by bank card in order to stop being charged by these FIENDS. This is Appalling

My order arrived today and I am more than happy with what was inside at only £20! If I can get some good use out of the supplements provided, I will likely be resubscribing. I can't say the same for every months box, but May's box is well worth the price for the resistance bands alone (which I was planning to buy for £40 anyway).
I don't know too much about the pre-workouts, whey or drink provided but I will definitely enjoy the Grenade Bar, that's for sure.

The terrifying reviews left by other customers on here led me to second guess my purchase minutes after placing it, which is why I opted to cancel as soon as it shipped. It was a painless experience that involved one email asking to cancel and one email thanking a member of the support team for their actions.
I believe that the reviews I've read are extremely unfair and could have been resolved if those customers just asked support for help.

To summarise, Muscle Crate is great value, in my opinion. The support team are friendly and nice and WILL help you if you actually get in touch with them!
I will likely be resubscribing once I get through these supplements and I will be referring my friends to this service. 5/5 :)

I have had muscle rate for a few years now, I definitely enjoyed it. They send a lot of variety in supplements to form pre-workout, BCAAs, protein, and gear. They've started to shift over to full-sized items which is smart, over time I have acquired too much of these samples packs. The main reason I canceled was because of the varying shipping costs, I live in the US and it used to be free shipping and then it ping pong between $6.5 to $10 for shipping. Last month put me over cus it $16 for shipping which made the box in total cost $40. So at that point, it wasn't worth paying over half the box's cost in shipping. If this was changed I would definitely get back on. The ast two boxes were great they sent me two sets of straps that I love, a nice bottle blender, full-sized pre-workout, and a pound of ISO protein. The cancelation wasn't hard, I just sent an email that I was canceling and it was taken care of within 24hrs. Overall good box, good stuff, but variable shipping made it lose its worth.

Went to Bewsh Box after reading the review below after having the same problems trying to cancel!
Bewsh are so friendly and even swapped out a bar because I didn't like the flavour! Wish I had moved to Bewsh sooner!!

Spoke to them on facebook, asked them to help me cancel.. they blocked me from their page. had to phone my bank to block them.

I signed up for a 29.99 box and have been charged 49.99 for months. I have tried to cancel but you can't just go to your account and cancel you have to email to cancel and the response sent everytime is a generic email that you can't cancel until they are able to do it at a window of time between shipment and next box. So I have to email repeatedly to try to get them to fix it. ITS RIDICULOUS! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

This company sucks! They never let you cancel even after multiple requests to cancel my subscription. TRASH

Still charging me after trying to cancel for last few months! Go to Bewsh Box instead and you get much more for your money and great customer service through Facebook Messenger.

Bill your card and never send the product. I have contacted the vendor over 5 times with no response -Buyer Beware

My wife took out a subscription for me as a gift and has been charged several times but not received anything. No response from any emails we have sent. If you look them up on companies House you can see the "directors of the company" go by the names of Gerard Mcallister and Joshua Mcallister and have gone into liquidation but are still taking peoples money. Absolutely disgusting. They are nothing but a father/son team of con men. DO NOT USE!!!

This company never sent me my “free box” and charged me twice in one month. Than charged me the next month because they did not cancel my subscription when I asked and still never sent me anymore boxes. So I was charged 3 times and only got one box.

Do not go near thise website. They trap you into their subscription, making it impossible for you to cancel without going through their support team. Their support team is useless and slow, and do anything they can to stop the cancellation. Took me 2 weeks and 10 emails to get my subscription cancelled.

This company keeps spamming my email account. I have no interest in this type of product and have no idea how they got my email, but ignore complaints so appear disreputable and untrustworthy. I wouldn't trust them with card details.
