SCAM COMPANY

I had to write about my first box shipment, Low and behold, my box never came..I tried to cancel my subscription there isn't an option to do so. So now I have to go to my bank to lock this company. This is unbelievable. Waste of time and money.

Idea is fun but Musclecrate is built on dodgy practices

The idea is great, but their whole process is set up to prevent you leaving and keep charging you unfairly. This dodgy business practice quickly overshadows the great idea of subscription supplements. Musclecrate remove the option to cancel the subscription from their website, and customer services promise it will be back later in the week, which it never is. I had to call my bank and put a block on the company after customer services stopped responding.

They also added postage charges to the subscription without informing me, putting the price up by over 30%.

They are a scam and you have been warned

First box never came, and doesn't allow bad reviews on their website. Customer service is a joke to them. This is a scam, don't say I didn't warn you. Con artists. No option to cancel just like your free trial of porn.

Not even worth one star

Not even worth one star! Just like the other reviews, these father/son duo carry on charging you, even if you try and cancel there's no option.

Had to report my card as lost and get it blocked so they couldn't carry on stealing out of my account.
.. Never again

DODGYYYYYYY

Took 25 days for my first box to arrive, came with the second box and they gave me the same one twice. Now won't let me cancel, so I'm going to have to block them with my bank to stop future payments from being taken out. Customer service was irritating beyond belief. Just false promises after false promises from some oaf named 'James'

Complete scan artists... do not order subscription box from these awful people!!!!!!

Honestly the worse company i have ever done business with. I tried for 3 months to cancel the subscription box i got my dad as a gift.. it was merely impossible to cancel unless you magically logged on on the right day, & even when they told you via email you could cancel you’d log on and .... nothing there for you to push cancel. Seriously the most frustrating company I’ve ever worked with. When i finally swore in about every sentence that i was so frustrated with their awful customer service via email for the 26th time.. yes 26 emails they finally cancelled my subscription via email aka they could have the whole time but they just wanted to squeeze some extra money out of me

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY! They say that there's a way to cancel your subscription when there isn't. I wanted a single box but have now paid for 6 with no way to cancel. I then had to sit on the phone with my bank for an hour to dispute the charges. I emailed muscle crate over 10 times trying to get them to cancel it for me and they wouldn't. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Fine, but there are some problems...

I've used Muscle Crate on and off quite a few times, and have generally been happy. I've seen the reviews, and if you get a signup deal (e.g. 50% off first box) you can't cancel until you've paid for a second box. I didn't mind this, as I wanted to try a few boxes. However, this isn't made very clear so I can see why some people might not be happy. The products are good, and you do get a wide range, but after 3-4 months you recognise lots of products coming up again and again. Contact via email is slow, but customer service once you get through to them (5-7 days in most cases) is fine. I've also ordered from their Supplement Store (non-subscription) and that was an OK experience. I ordered on black friday and there was a huge delay in getting it delivered. One item was missing and another was the wrong flavour. They refunded me (+100%) for the missing item so it worked out OK.

I've sent them multiple emails notifying them about about the inability to cancel through their website. One email even acknowledged this and replied and I quote

"Hi,

Sorry to hear you want to cancel, the option will be available in your account area once this months boxes ship later next week. Hopefully you won't want to once you see this months box ;)

Thanks"

of course the "option to cancel" never became available and I had to call up my bank to BLOCK them as they weren't playing ball/

Worst company that exists

Worst company that exists. Customer service hours are fake as no one responds. According to T’s & C’s you can cancel after the second order, they are now shipping the third order and still there is no option to cancel. Got sucked in by a 50% offer from Sweatcoin. Looks like I’ll have to make a trip to the bank to somehow stop the payments as you can’t even remove your card from the website. Unbelievable.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, they are the worst company to buy from, the items are not worth 18.

The delivery is falsly lied, i paid for extra delivery and they supposed to deliver, everyday hermes kept on stating that they will deliver and then they delay the delivery and send it back, i spoke through instagram to these and they just say oh you gotta contact them, i paid for my product and they should contact them,

And they dont even respond to emails, really garbage communication, do not trust them.

The worst fitness company to purchase from

The worst fitness company to ever buy from! They scam you charging you for 2 months instead of one. And the customer service is worse than the actual products provided in the box. In actual disgust at how this company runs! Never buy from muscle crate ever! It’s a scam of a company! Items given in the box are not even worth the amount of money paid for.

When purchasing a subscription you MUST…

When purchasing a subscription you MUST buy 2 subscriptions total until you can cancel, deceiving. 1st box took 5 weeks to receive and had an item inside explode all over everything. Contacted costumer service which took a few day’s to respond even though it says 24hrs. They said they would resolve the issue by adding more in the next box. 2nd box came and there was nothing extra in it as a friend also purchased at the same time and we’ve received identical boxes. Meanwhile this friend was scammed into more boxes as they couldn’t cancel their order (option wasn’t available as it was for me) and was ignored from customer service.

Seriously wish I could give them 0 stars. AWFUL customer service. I got a promotion through sweatcoin (which I’ve emailed them so they know to discontinue their collaboration with them) they take your money, don’t ever respond and send you awful products. They are a scam. Seriously sad that they even exist and continue to scam people. What happened to just being a good and honest company???

I have been trying to cancel for 2…

I have been trying to cancel for 2 months. Finally had to just block the payments on my visa. I sent repeated e mails asking to cancel my subscription as I just couldn't afford it right now, and their response was ALWAYS the same even though when I logged in, the 'cancel' button was not where they said.
The stuff wasn't bad, but the customer service is TERRIBLE and I will never get stuff through them again!

AVOID!! Find an alternative... there are lots out there!

Fewer items in the boxes these days with lots of duplicates. Recently started charging for postage and claimed they had alerted members. I received no email/notice of the price increase. I had a box returned to them as Hermes apparently could not deliver (despite my reception being open and staffed everyday) but they have still not arranged a redelivery and ignore all messages regarding this. I have paid for this box. I tried to cancel my subscription but the option was removed/hidden from my account section on their website. Again, all messages and emails are ignored or replied to with some unhelpful generic rubbish. I guess the owner of this company is now making enough money to not be bothered by the shocking customer service it is offering. Save your money, don't subscribe and I hope these reviews get back to the company and they make some changes.

SCAM, AVOID!

Very poor, costs £18.45 altogether and you get way less than even £10 worth of things in there, just a couple of cheap low quality BCAA & Protein sample sachets, a bar and normally an energy drink and that’s about it. They state that delivery is next day, however, every one of my boxes has taken around 2 weeks. They won’t let you cancel your subscription after you join & won’t respond to any emails or direct messages. Don’t get swooped in by the half price first box! Been requesting to cancel my subscription for over a month now, but not a single response. AVOID!
Update: I’ve been trying to message them via Instagram, but I got the same automated response twice and was then blocked by them, so there is no way I can cancel.
