Badly run
I ordered a Volvo and asked for delivery by the end of the week — all agreed. They then called to say it wasn't a Volvo but a Mercedes. Next, they contacted me to say they couldn't deliver on Friday and asked if Tuesday would work. I agreed. They sent the car details through and it turned out to be a 3-year-old previous generation model. Then they emailed again to say they couldn't do Tuesday either — could it be Thursday instead? At that point I gave up and asked for my money back. They seem to be incredibly disorganised, to say the least. I would not recommend. My advice: be very clear on the spec of the car and its age, and make sure your delivery date is actually confirmed before you commit.

Messed around with my mileage package, wanted my car back within 2 week notice leaving me with no car while I had to go in hospital for treatments. They Just want to milk you for everything. Even got charged for dropping my car back off with the same amount of fuel I was given it with lol!!
New car lease
I needed a car in a relatively short time-frame, and Mycardirect beat my expectations with that. Tony Kandola was instrumental in sourcing a vehicle, completing all the paperwork (including funding), and delivering the vehicle all within 48 hours. It was a seamless process and much smoother than I could have anticipated.

We travelled to the UK from New Zealand on the wildlife trip of our lifetime. The plan was to follow wildlife across the country - west to east and north to south from spring to autumn. To make it work we needed affordable transport and Mycardirect and their subscription service for the bill.
We were able to arrange everything before we left home, and finalised our car while on a Mediterranean ferry. That’s how easy the Mycardirect’s service is to use.
Now our journey is over and the car is to be returned the staff we spoke to where incredibly helpful particularly Emma and Tony.

Really impressed with My Car Direct. From first enquiry to delivery it only took 2 days, which was super quick. Car was delivered and helpful briefing during handover. The car is a great quality EV and the flexible subscription makes it easier to cancel when not needed anymore. Smooth and hassle-free experience, would definitely recommend!

The entire team was friendly, professional, and made everything easy. I really appreciated the complimentary pick-up service from Hemel Hempstead station, which added a thoughtful touch to the service. Excellent alternative for leases or high interest payments
Tony is an excellent representative of the company. He went out of his way to swap my audi q4 for a Tesla, bring it around the next day and making the whole process seamless. There was also some damage on the car (my fault) and he helped me negotiate a win win solution to avoid massive bills in the short term. An excellent service and comes heartily recommended.
Excellent service
Our subscription car - with which we were very happy - developed a small fault. Tony, Business Development Manager, responded immediately and within a day, car was taken for repair and he brought us a replacement car. Tony kept in touch and the original car was returned very quickly, repaired - and beautifully cleaned! Tony kept us informed throughout and the service he gave was excellent. Thank you Tony. Would recommend. The whole experience was very good indeed and Tony was friendly, helpful and professional throughout.

Mycardirect offers a fast turnaround and decent customer service, making the process relatively simple for subscribers. Tony was helpful in arranging the car delivery and followed up to address concerns. However, there are areas for improvement, as some experiences with cleanliness or minor issues aren't always seamless. Overall, an average experience with some bright spots.

The turn around time from booking to collection was swift. Tony was available for the handover and offered an exceptional service with a smile. He was patient, informative and offered to answer any questions I had on the day. He also gave me a courtesy call a few days before to confirm the arrangements prior to arrival. Also a big thank you to Emma who was always available to answer my million and one questions! Fantastic service from both staff members, they’re a treasure to the team. Good experience so far and look forward to enjoying my rental term.

The only reason i gave it 4 star is i think they can improve if they add insurance to their subscription packages also(like maintenance, not separate) and maybe puttung more hybrid cars.

I would like to thank Tony from My Car Direct, for not only saving me money on an alternative car selection, but having the car prepared and turnaround so quickly, that it was delivered within four days of me selecting the subscription car on the MyCarDirect website.
Tony also followed up with a call to make sure that I was happy, he even advised me to get the tyre checked that I thought looked under the limit through their Tyre provider, which it wasn't, of course and came back to me to confirm again.
We also discussed the potential of a same model car, but with parking sensors, that he is looking out for, and when it arrives will gladly do the swop over.
This is why I am a returning customer to My Car Direct. Thank you again Tony and the team at My Car Direct.

Very well served by Tony from my car direct, who was very professional and efficient. Just took delivery of the car this morning only a few days after initial contact.
So far I have no complaints. The chat on the site was useful for guidance and Tony called me to guide me through things when needed, always leaving a message and also an email when he couldn't get through.

The car I selected was available immediately and for the advertised price.
This is in contrast to other companies I'd tried where the only options were significantly more expensive and not even available for several weeks.
Tony understood my situation and promised that he'd get me the car, even if he had to deliver it himself.
All companies should take a leaf out of this one with its excellent streamlined process and brilliant, friendly customer service.
Absolutely Terrible Experience
Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!
I had high expectations for MyCarDirect, but my entire subscription experience has been a nightmare.
First, they delivered a Tesla Model 3 with a severely cracked windscreen, which took weeks to resolve. This left me unable to fully use the car, and the whole process was unnecessarily drawn out. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the replacement car (a BMW iX3) arrived in filthy condition and reeked of smoke, which took weeks to clear even after a professional valet.
To top it all off, after dealing with multiple issues throughout the subscription period, I was charged for a minor chip in the windscreen along with an outrageous admin fee. The company seems to have zero regard for customer service and completely ignores the hassle and inconvenience their poor service causes.
I expected a fair resolution considering all the problems I faced, but their lack of accountability and proper communication has been nothing short of frustrating. Avoid this service unless you want endless headaches and poor customer care.
