Be careful, avoid this platform
I booked boiler and gas stove service.
The first engineer was supposed to arrive on Friday at 4:30 PM. I took time off work early to be on time. Then he called and said he'd be there by 6:00 PM. When 6:00 PM arrived, I started calling him, and he answered and said he couldn't come because his car was broken. We agreed on Monday. On Monday, I texted him, but he didn't answer. I started calling to make sure he'd show up as we'd agreed. He said he couldn't promise he'd show up. He had a high rating, by the way.
I called and asked for another engineer. They assigned me another engineer for the following Friday (high rated as well) . Again, I asked for time off early, again wasting hours that no one is paying me. But engeneer has arrived.
What's shold be included in gas boiler services :
1.Visual Inspection: The engineer checks the exterior of the boiler and surrounding pipework for any signs of leaks, corrosion, or damage.
Internal
2.Component Check: They will remove the boiler casing to inspect and clean key internal parts, including the burner, heat exchanger, main injector, and spark probe.
3.Flue & Ventilation Check: The engineer ensures the flue (exhaust pipe) is correctly fitted, unobstructed, and effectively discharging dangerous gases outside.
4.Gas Pressure & Flow Test: Testing the gas supply pressure to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and that the boiler is burning fuel properly.
5.Safety Device Testing: Checking that all safety mechanisms, such as overheat thermostats and flame sense devices, are functional.
6.Flue Gas Analysis: Using a digital analyser to check the air-to-gas ratio and ensure the boiler is not producing dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.
Operational Check: Firing up the boiler to verify it starts properly and responds to controls and thermostats correctly.
For gas hob:
1.Leak Detection: Testing all joints and pipework for gas leaks.
2.Burner & Jet Cleaning: Removing burners for cleaning, using wire brushes, and cleaning jets with compressed air to remove debris.
3.Flame & Combustion Check: Ensuring the burner burns correctly (blue flame), and that the flame failure safety device works.
4.Safety Check: Checking for proper ventilation, checking flame color, and checking that the appliance is securely fitted.
5.Inspection: Checking for damage and analyzing combustion exhaust gases (if necessary).
What I've got:
The engineer came, cleaned the boiler filter, and checked for leaks with a gas analyzer. He started the boiler to make sure everything was working.
Regarding the gas stove: he made sure there was a valve to shut off the gas supply to the stove. He turned on fully the unit and made sure everything was working. He told me that was part of his job.This work is included in the price in My Constructor. Then he said he needed to test the area where the gas meter is, but he didn't have the necessary equipment. He said he'd come on Saturday and finish the job. He never showed up.
I texted him Monday morning asking when he'd be arriving to finish the job. He asked for my address, and when I answered, he stopped replying to my messages.
A few hours later, I called him. He answered the phone and said he'd been there Saturday , looked at everything, and filled out all the information so I could get a certificate (certificates I've got saturday, but he wasn't there, he just filled up all DETAILS without being there and checking gas meter-WE ARE TALKING ABOUT GAS) I asked him why he didn't let me know he'd arrived. Since the gas meter is outside, he said he didn't want to disturb us. I reviewed the camera footage again—HE DIDN'T ARRIVE. I wrote to him about it, and he started pretending to be a fool , asking what address it was, what post code it was. Then he said he'd get back to me within an hour.
He came later (Monday) and finished the job.If I hadn't told him about the cameras, he would have continued to say that he was there on Saturday. But how could he give me first a certificate on Saturday if he didn't check everything properly and without being there ?????????
In customer service, you're simply left to deal with the engineer.
There's no support or follow-up from them. They just leave you to deal with the engineer yourself.
The platform is focused on making money and nothing more. They don't care about the quality of the service their engineers provide. Gas appliance maintenance isn't a game; it's about people's safety.
How the engineer have so many good reviews? I think the people booking his services simply don't know how job actually must be done.
Avoid this platform. If you're looking for gas appliance service, consider your safety.Find another company.

We then spoke again for any amendments we may have to make and the certificates came through within a few days. Will definitely recommend.
