They charged me £99 just for me to download an app that I already own. And I only paid £5.99 for it. They said oh book a course for Friday lol there's no way anywhere to even do this on the app.lmao if anyone thinking of paying for this crap..DONT.. your be better avoiding this mob

My instructor, Alan was amazing.

I lent my nephew 2k to take this course, he was pleased with the instructor but unfortunately myintensive failed to book him a test and still owe him £700+ for lessons he didn't need and which they've being saying they'll refund for the last couple of months but haven't, they also refused to put anything in writing and now they seem to be ignoring him....

BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

In the beginning of my experience everything seemed great. They got me an instructor fairly quickly. This is only upside I have experienced.

Please note everything they do you can do yourself! They do not have their own instructors they simply use the gov website for the dvla that you can access yourself. Even my instructor has said it is not worth it. I would have saved myself £200/£400 if I just booked lessons with my instructor privately through him.

I have had to book my own test as after chasing them consistently for updates they were unsuccessful in booking me a test. For which again they use the same dvla test website you can access yourself and have to contact you anyway to book a test! Please do not waste your time or money.

It’s now 3 or 4 months since booking my own test and although they have refused to refund me for full course payment or deposit as they can only refund me the test amount, £62, I have not received a refund of that! Despite chasing and chasing. They only reply if you call them directly as emails hardly get responded to. And on a phone call it’s very short and no outcome.

I originally went with an intensive course as I thought I’d be driving quicker. It does not work like that! I passed my theory test in March and my test is not till October. Which I booked myself as they failed too.

I booked on short notice of my test date, and i was still accepted.

Nicola specifically was incredibly helpful, with quick and useful responses, making interacting with this service simple and effective.

I only made a quick 10-15 minute phone call gathering information about a crash course as i’ve had all my experience on a motorbike but wanted to see how that experience would transfer when learning to drive, Holly who was the girl that helped me on the phone delivered the best in-depth answers for my questions and was so friendly, easy to talk to i found myself getting distracted with a separate conversation, she has made my experience almost perfect so far and i am super confident in pursuing through this company

***SCAM COMPANY ALERT***

I would strongly advise anyone considering using My Intensive Driving to think twice.

We booked driving lessons with them in **January**, specifically requesting that lessons begin in **late March**, and we also paid for their assistance in finding a suitable driving test. They failed to deliver on both counts. They never found us a driving instructor with availability as repeatedly mentioned in the booking, and they never secured a driving test. In the end, I found a driving instructor and test myself in a single afternoon, making one of the main reasons for using their service completely pointless.

After deciding to cancel, I was informed in writing that a refund of £744 would be issued on 8 May. Months later, I am still waiting!!

Since then, I have made countless phone calls and sent numerous emails. Nicola in Accounts has stopped responded to my queries, despite repeated requests, and the customer service agents I have spoken to have been defensive, dismissive and completely unable or unwilling to provide any meaningful update on where my refund is or when I can expect to receive it.

The lack of communication has been just as disappointing as the failure to provide the service we paid for. Once they had our money, trying to obtain either the promised service or the agreed refund became an incredibly frustrating experience. They are a complete SCAM and thieves.

At this stage, unless my refund is received immediately, I will be pursuing the matter through my bank and, if necessary, the Small Claims Court.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend My Intensive Driving to anyone.

Paid nearly £600 upfront in September — it’s now June near enough July 2026 and I’ve had nothing.
I checked availability first — told 4‑6 weeks — and phoned to double‑check I’d get tested before my theory ran out in March; they laughed and fully assured me I’d be done way sooner.

Months of excuses only: “next month”, “no availability”. I widened test centres, paid extra lessons — still nothing. My friends easily got tests at the same centres; slots were clearly available. No updates, avoided questions, only repeated “we’re doing all we can”.

My theory expired, I requested a refund — 4–5 months later still no money back, same empty line every call. They lie, make false promises, take your cash, and refuse repayment. Total scam — avoid at all costs.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. They promise to find me an instructor after only a few weeks of passing my theory test. They did. But that's when the problems started. I was constantly messed around by my designated instructor who wouldn't give me a start date. I asked for another instructor and they designated me an instructor for an automatic car. Over twelve months later, I was finally given another instructor who I had one lesson with before she told me she was due to go into hospital and I would have to wait several more weeks. Only when I asked for her ADI number, which is a legal requirement, did she offer to refund me what she had been paid by MIC. I was constantly mislead by this company and when I did manage to speak to someone on the phone they never called me back when promised. I eventually had to get my bank involved as well as a local councillor who brought it to the attention of my MP. Do not waste any of your time and money on these charlatans.

This is perfect if you need to pass your test in a short space of time. It is very easy with them as they book the test and arrange lessons all for you. I had a brilliant instructor who taught me everything I needed to know, which allowed me to pass first time. Would definitely recommend if you want to have all the lessons and test booked in a short period of time within each other if you can cope with the long amounts of driving each day.

I tell you for FREE DO NOT BOOK THEM THEY WILL ROBB YOU FOR YOUR MONEY THERE ARE SHIT !!!! I REGRET booking them !!!

I booked for my partner and done it for 2-3 weeks time it’s it’s been 5 months and after numerous calls to them for my money back they keep saying it will be in the account by the end of the and like always it’s not so now my bank is looking into it as fraud as we paid for the service and they have not delivered

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I must warn others about My Intensive Driving Course. This company, operating under Safer Driving UK Ltd, with Mark Elliot as director, has multiple aliases—do not be fooled. Four months ago, we were guaranteed a driving test after 16 weeks, based on a call with Holly, a representative. We paid a premium fee—despite the extortionate cost—only to be told months later that the guarantee was a lie. Holly still falsely promises tests, and when we raised it, the company backtracked—claiming changing legislation. Even after 16 weeks, they still can’t provide any estimate of when we might get a test. When we questioned their low Trustpilot rating of 2.9, they backtracked again. This is a blatant scam—they exploit young people, often just becoming adults, taking their money and leaving them with shattered hopes. Please, do not make the same mistake. These people need to be shut down.

Absolutely awful would not recommend this company at all. Massively overcharged me compared to what my instructor actually charges. I payed extra to have a fast tracked driving test within 10 weeks of my course finishing yet 6 months later I have no test and no refund despite trying for several months. Every time I get in contact for a refund I am given a new form and email to contact which promptly gets ignored. They purposely make it incredibly difficult to get a well deserved refund . Whilst claiming the only refund you are owed is the unspent test fee of £62. Despite the fact you are paying a premium to make learning to drive and getting a test a quick process . Something they are actually unable to do. Please do not ever book with this company if you actually have a desire to drive

Don’t waste your money if you’re looking for a quick license. Couldn’t provide me with a driver at short notice and then took numerous emails to get a refund.

I suggest anyone requesting or waiting for a refund make sure they’re stating both companies in their requests/emails to myintensivecourse because I have my suspicions they’re mugging certain people who’s been waiting months for money back because the second I sent my (FINAL EMAIL BEFORE COURT) email.. I was refunded via bank transfer within 10 minutes.

Was with a different Driving Test company at first but they let me down big time so I called myintensive and from the first Conversation Kelsi was very helpful and also very efficient and made me feel at ease so Thank You Very Much Kelsi

The instrucure was great driving training was intense but well worth it, I felt more than equiped for test had a great experience.
