The worst company we have ever dealt with.

Paid over £1.5k. Paired with a poor instructor. Test was booked for us however they never even bothered to contact us to let us know it was booked so we had to rearrange the test as we did not have time to adequately prepare for the test. We have waited 13 months + and no further tests were booked despite multiple phone calls requesting it. During this time the instructor we were given had retired so we couldn’t even use all of our teaching hours. Refund request response responded 5 days later than the timeline they set up and only offered a refund of £62.

This company is a scam.

Not started my lessons yet but within 24 hours I have received an instructor and everything is sorted for me, with my first lesson with them in a week!! :)
Holly was an absolute angel. Not even 30 minutes after placing my deposit and she sorted everything!!! I could not fault her, honestly she’s made me feel so much better about lessons as previous companies have been so bad!!!

I would recommend this company. As I was making a 6.5 hour drive to do my driving course and test it was important that I felt trust that everything would run smoothly. I was given the details for one woman assistant who I could communicate with throughout. She recommended where to stay and kept me up to date with everything. My instructor Paul was fantastic and really helped me to get a pass which I’m delighted about!

Paired me with a lovely instructor who got me to pass first time, the one thing I will say is it wasn’t very intensive, I did the scheduled start so knew my test was in May yet I was in lessons once a week since January rather than having one intensive block. It probably was actually better for me so it’s not too much of a problem but if others want that intensity it may be an issue

kelsi and holly were extremely helpful however i think reading fine print should be something you do before you think about booking this however is no
reflection on the team. i’ve had 2 instructors one was not a very good one very unprofessional but the instructor that lead me to pass was charanjit mahli who was absolutely brilliant

Had a sketchy start of chasing them & then a cancelled driving test & then more chasing & fibs! I finally got Holly on the phone & she secured a test & instructor within 2 days. 5* for Holly. Passed my theory on 20/12/2025. Got my practical test on 23/06/2026

I paid for a 30 hour manual course and a driving test in Feb 2024 and have received one 2 hour lesson and the date is currently May 2026, yes i cancelled 2 or 3 due to illness or work obligations but it is currently 13 days until my test date, i have 28 hours remaining of my course and am now being told the instructor has no availability for me. i have asked for a full refund minus the cancelled lessons and have been told "in between lessons will contact later" which is funny since i have been waiting 2 years for lessons. i even had to book my own driving test although i had paid them to book it. In their own terms and conditions it states they'll only be responsible for a full refund if they fail to provide a driving test which they failed to do, it also states "ALL courses must be completed within 6 months of pairing with an instructor" which they have also failed to do.
DO NOT USE at all costs they'll do nothing but give you the run around and waste your time.

My son paid £400 deposit for an intensive course with this company but got severely ill with depression and couldn’t cope going forward, I contacted this company who pretended to care but proceeded to take his deposit at this terrible time without a care in the world, my sons mental health meant nothing they were only interested in the money while our lives were falling apart, they was not interested in taking an administrative fee they wanted the whole £400, I think their standards stink and shame on them taking money from a vulnerable young man

This company is appalling so not book with them.they only contact you to pay for the intensive course no communication from them for 8 weeks I have then booked my own test and passed.to which I had contacted them requesting a refund I spoke to both Nicola and Kelsey who are supposed to be managers and they promised a refund I’ve then had to chase this 5 times and I’m yet to see my money.i requested to put in a complaint and everything I asked for I was told I had to fill out a form.i filled out the form and call in for an update on my complaint to be told by Kelsey that I didn’t make one. I would always record the calls when calling this company as they lie .i have recorded every phone call ive made and I will take legal action if I sign review my refund

0/10 experience, I’d strongly recommend thinking carefully before using this company, especially if you need to pass quickly and want to work with a company you can rely on to be honest, transparent and deliver what you actually paid for.

Here is my factual experience.

I booked an intensive driving course and test in early January 2026 after multiple calls confirming my requirements, timeframe and the urgency of needing my licence before June 2026. After 5 months of delays, empty promises and constant chasing, the service was never delivered.

It was eventually agreed with Nicola that I was owed a refund, however recovering it has involved over 5 weeks of repeated calls, emails and being passed between staff members before ultimately ending in the filing of a Small Claims Court claim against MIC and Mark Elliot, the company director.

I also encountered confusion around multiple trading names, including Safer Driving UK Ltd / My Intensive Course Ltd, along with different Companies House registrations and correspondence addresses linked to the business.

The address listed on TP is not their active business address according to what I was told by Ryan today.

In fact, the company details that appear when searching the trading name "MIC" do not match the details connected to the registration number displayed on the website, which made identifying the correct legal entity unnecessarily difficult during legal proceedings.

Overall my experience has been stressful, time-consuming and deeply disappointing.

Because I trusted Mark, Nicola, Holly and the MIC team, I have now missed the deadline I needed my licence for, lost work opportunities, and will likely need to resit my theory test due to the amount of time wasted.

My experience with them was pretty smooth, paid the deposit then the full amount after I had my first lesson and honestly my instructor was a saviour. She was able to tell me what went wrong without demeaning me in any way and I managed to pass first time

Not as bad as I thought, I thought my nerves was gonna get the better of me but I stayed calm and focused and I passed, they key is don’t think ur gonna fail, or don’t get there thinking ur gonna pass think of it as a driving lesson

MIS-SOLD intensive course with guaranteed test at the end. My son has had half the driving lessons, the diving instructor has gone awol and we have been waiting for a test for 3 months. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

I had a really positive experience with My Intensive Course today thanks to Nicola. She was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout our conversation. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions patiently, and made the whole process much less stressful.

I booked with them in late February they had my test booked for the end of may, I had an issue once my lessons started and after speaking to Nicola on the phone she managed to get it all sorted for me and ease my worries! She was extremely understanding and helpful and managed to get it all sorted within a short amount of time. I am now looking forward to continuing my lessons and hopefully passing at the end of May!

Absolutely exceptional customer service provided by Kelsi and my instructor was awesome passed first time, couldn't recommend highly enough.

Do not go with this company. It’s false advertising on their part, there’s no ‘intensive’ about it. I’m aware of them finding driving instructors etc but even my instructor had a negative experience with them. I never finished the course fully because of how unorganised everything was and trying to arrange the test. They are ignoring all my correspondence of a refund of the last few lessons I have which is on them, not the instructor as I paid them directly with the full fee. It’s straight up just a scam at this point, refusing to issue me my funds back and withholding them and think that I will just go away. That’s what they will do with any customer going to them and I’ve already seen the other countless negative reviews about them anyway so please do not waste your money as I paid over £600.
