They say rates as low as 5.99% but they do not disclose a 10.99% service fee for the loan

payless usa llc called me to offer assistance with my credit card debt. Before beginning any work, they charged me a $399 setup fee and promised to cut my balances in half. After that, I followed up with no updates, no calls to my creditors, and nothing. I subsequently discovered that these upfront costs for debt relief are prohibited by federal law. They took my money and produced nothing. Steer clear of this business.

they mailed a pre-approval to me, I inquired with them, this man, belittled me throughout the entire phone call, told me I had poor credit management, once I questioned why he was asking certain questions that had nothing to do we a consolation loan, he became defensive and spoke to me like I was trash and he was the most intelligent man alive. This company isn't in the business to help or lend money, they feel the need to humiliate and act as though their services are needed, and they are the only lender out there. I have never been talked to so rudely in my life. Also, I called yesterday with questions and the gentleman just hung up on me.
I'm telling you this isnt normal, this business has to be fake, there is no way that employees talk and treat people this way, I actually thought I was being punked.

The thing that calls you is a machine, cannot understand questions,just sticks to its script.

I should of known that this was too good to be true. They sent me letter saying that they would offer me an affordable loan to wipe down my cards very tempting so i applied my phone does not stop ringing. I gotta call from a specialist threw them i talked with him and i told specifically what i needed of course they wanna put me in a debt consolidation program instead of saying you have a loan and they stretch to make you look like you be forever in debt and intrest so you can feel bad and accept the offer. The offer they made to me to take my cards off me and so i won't have to pay the creditors i mine as well keep paying the intrest. Id rather you guys be upfront then scam people. I should of went with my gut instinct do not do it.

Biggest scammers!!!! Tried to do a bait and switch to try to convince me to do a debt resolution program instead of an actual personal loan!!! Dont do it!!! You can do the negotiating yourself with your creditors and save your credit without having to pay a fee !!! What a joke!!!!

Like so many others on here, I received a flyer in the mail. Of course it looked too good to be true, but being a glutton for punishment, I filled out the very short app. As soon as I hit enter, the phone rang and it was Payless USA. Well, knowing this is how debit consolidation and debt relief companies work, I didn't answer the phone. Should have gone to Trust pilot first to check the company out. "This is just a consultation...", they want all your debt info and then will pull your credit report. If they don't do the debt consolidation, then they send you to debt relief or consolidation company like Americor, Beyond Finance, National Debt Relief or too numerous to say companies. Debt Consolidation is fine if that is what you want to do, but this is a bait and switch company. They will not give you a loan as won't the other companies mentioned. They shouldn't be saying you can get this low interest loan for thousands (not with the credit you get the letter for) when all they will do is broker you out.

This is not a loan company, this is a company that is a debt resolution company, not a lender, it’s fraud! Don’t fall for it!!!! They should be up front n say who n what they really are, I would not have let them pull my credit score which has went from a good now to fair!!!!

Misleading offers. Received a mailer for a considated loan option. Once called, Was referred to Americor who just handles debt consolidation. Beware of what they say and wary they will probably mislead you.

Pre qualified? No. 5.9 percent? No. Up to 75,000? No.

Total scam.

Like many that are out there.

The customer service agent I spoke to was very helpful. I appreciate that he had all my account info readily available. He was very courteous and I could understand him easily. He answered my question right away. No complaints here.

Nothing against debt consolidation brokers offering soothing relief to people going through debt challenges, but to send letters in the mail offering people sub-prime loans when they are not lenders at all, but debt counselors making commissions on every customer they 'help' is classic telemarketing boiler room bait and switch scamming at its finest and given they only incorporated earlier this year I have a feeling they know it too--RUN don't walk!!

Saul did a great job of explaining everything to me as well as reassuring me that my debt would be taken care of. We need more people like him in this world! He was very polite and his customer service skills are top notch!

I received a pre-approved offer for $50,000 6% interest. It was not true. I told them up front that my credit is poor right now because I just moved and had a lot of extra expenses so I had to use a lot of credit cards that I normally would not have done. I made that clear up front. They wasted my time. We're unable to do what they gave me a pre-approved offer for. And I'm very annoyed. If they would have just been upfront and honest when I explain the situation and told me right away that they would not be able to do what they gave me the pre-approved offer for that would have been fine. They did not do that. I could hear them in the background with what sounded like a spinning wheel like a gambling wheel, and I asked the person I was speaking to about it and he said that it was because it was Friday and they were celebrating all their wins. Now it's not like I don't expect people to make money when they are lending money but this is not that. The documentation I received made it seem like they were the lender. They are not the lender. They are a broker. That is not what I was looking for and I was not happy.

Saul answered all my questions and concerns, he was very kind and didn't judge me or make me feel less then deserving of his help. He was available to me ti answer any questions that popped up and addressed all of my concerns. Thank You Saul for helping me and giving me the opportunity to get my life on track again instead if just living in survival mode.

I am only a week into my plan with Payless USA, however, I can tell it was a very good decision! I was given a clear timeline of when my debts would be paid and I would have financial freedom! Danielle Villamor helped me with the enrollment process, and she has been beyond helpful, I appreciate her assistance and knowing she is with me throughout my steps to financial freedom!

Saul was over the top he’s amazing never once did he make me feel bad about my poor decision making. He helped me understand what I was signing up for, provided excellent feedback, never once did he make me feel like my questions were stupid, down to earth and relatable. We need more Saul in the world!
