I got two 3m runners for my hallway and they’re even more beautiful than in the photos. The quality and craftsmanship that went into them is also fantastic. The two underlays that I bought with them are also great. Neither our bounding greyhound, nor our toddler has managed to shift them from place. Highly recommend Najaf Rugs!

First time I bought a rug online
First time I bought a rug online, I wasn't sure what to expect in term of quality, but the price was very good and I decided to try.
The shipment arrived quickly, and the rug was very well packaged.
Once opened, I was really pleased: the rug is better than expected, and matched the colour and description. It's a premium product, I'm very pleased, it will look fantastic in my living room and it will make it look much more elegant and sophisticated.
Thanks to all the team at Najaf Rugs, I couldn't recommend them more.

UPS messed up delivery
Najaf use UPS for deliveries and they are very inefficient and in my experience obstructive. Their Customer Services are a nightmare to deal with and it’s impossible to get connected to anyone with any authority to act.
Najaf themselves nevertheless did everything possible to chase UPS to eventually deliver.
Thank-you Maria.
Note that import fees were around 30% payable on delivery to UPS, in addition to purchase price and delivery charge. No explanation of this from UPS.
The quality of the rug is first class.

I’m incredibly disappointed to see this one-star review, particularly given the amount of time and care that went into resolving this matter for you. As you would have seen from our email correspondence, I personally spent hours on the phone and emailing back and forth with both UPS and our shipping broker to have your shipment released as quickly as possible. Despite my very best efforts, this situation was unfortunately beyond my control.
In our 25 years of business here in Melbourne, this is the first one-star review we’ve ever received, and it is about something entirely outside our hands: shipping delays and customs charges. We rely on our trusted delivery partners such as UPS to handle international freight because, naturally, I cannot personally deliver from Australia to the UK. Among the major international couriers available to us, UPS is one of the most reputable and widely regarded, which is why we continue to trust them. This instance was a rare one-off where things simply did not go as smoothly as they should have. You also acknowledged in one of our email exchanges that this was a UPS-related issue rather than a Najaf Rugs one, as you were cc’d into every single email I sent throughout the process.
Regarding pricing, our website clearly states that product prices exclude any import duties, VAT, or taxes imposed by the destination country’s customs authority. Naturally, international deliveries may incur such charges, but this does not mean that our prices are misleading. These fees are collected by the courier (in this case UPS) on behalf of UK Customs, and they are entirely outside our control. The only way to avoid them would be to misdeclare the shipment’s value or contents, which is something we would never do.
Over the years, we’ve safely delivered hundreds of handmade rugs to customers across the UK, Europe, and beyond without issue, and this experience does not reflect the standard of reliability or service we’re known for. I completely understand and appreciate your frustration, but I did expect a little more grace, especially as you would have seen how hard I was working behind the scenes to resolve this for you. Regardless, I will once again apologise for the inconvenience caused, and I hope, despite it all, that you love your rug. If there is anything else I can help with, you are always welcome to email me directly.

I went to simply view a runner and could not leave without it and another earthy, gorgeous tribal-weave treasure!
Most difficult to leave with only the two!
The online images of both colour and style are precise and in fact I found the rugs to be even more devine and vivid in person. A truly great find indeed!

I am thrilled with my rugs. They are just stunning. The colours are insane, mesmerising, unique. Never seen such colourways before in a rug. I also ordered from Sydney so I was relying on the website and speaking to Maria before purchasing. Maria was able to answer my questions and the customer service experience was very good. I ordered on Monday and the rugs arrived Wednesday! I would love to buy again from Najaf Rugs, after I get rid of my existing rugs!
