Unregistered Dealings in TITLE
They moved their loan to AMP. Worst thing is they have added the "Unregistered Dealings" in the Title. Which means now i am unable refinance to AMP.
I have called AMP 10 times and they have no idea what is happening ?
I gave Nano 5 star last year but now i am pulling it back.
Sold out to AMP and added fees
They sold out to AMP and now fees have been introduced to their home loans. For example, they advertised "No exit or discharge fee". Of course, AMP is adding a $390 minimum discharge fee.
They've been in discussions with AMP for several months but only told customers on the 30th of January, not giving us enough time to refinance elsewhere.
Andrew Walker and the management team don't care about us customers. They appear to be more interested in their own personal wealth creation. Very disappointing.
Nano is a low cost option with abilities to match
Nano is a low cost option with great customer experience in the sign up process - 5 Stars for that. But with the low interests rates and no fees, the home product does have what would be considered standard features missing - thereby a 3 star review. These sacrifices include an online account access, everything is done through the APP. So you forgo the ability to download statements or acount history and thereby zero ability to import into excel. It was a rude shock once I had signed up. Consider the bank your with now and the APP's abilities compared with online...can you do everything in the APP? Same applies here.
The APP is good, better than some banks but still not full featured - I like the super fast transfers and emails notifications every time I use the card. But again missing basic features, it can't save bank account information in an addressbook. You have to scroll through histrical transactions to find a recent one to reuse account details. I can't schedule internal transfers, everything is manual and sometimes hard to find certain pages.
Theres many other 'little' annoyances I found without seeming to picky, so if you can live with out an online portal and happy to use an APP for all banking needs, than Nano is pretty good regarding assistance and speaking with knowledgable people as an insitute.
For me, it was a misstake - I need more functionality and basic abilities that I get with Credit Unions let alone the top banks.
Good but ultimately disappointed
Nano were great in all regards but have lost me by going above the RBA increases. Will be looking to refinance.

Great friendly service - home loan
Great friendly service with our home loan. It feels like you’re dealing with a family business than one of the big banks which is wonderful. Also fantastic knowledge on the technical stuff!

So simple and easy
So simple and easy. I had applied somewhere else months ago and was still getting requests for more info. The process with Nano took a few weeks from start to settlement. They lack a few features for their online banking that some of the big players have but it’s worth it just to have a stress free and easy mortgage with great features.

Well, what a surprise on a 0.65% increase, after all the efforts and excitement, in the end, I got catfished.

Deception
If I could give 0 stars I would have. Nano had a good advertised rate and it was fairly simple application process.
During the refinance my current lenders offered to bring their rate down, but there was still 0.15% gap between that and Nano’s rate. During our refinance we’d already been through one rate increase and Nano matched the RBA’s 0.5% increase. Nano had informed me of this and everything seemed above board.
With more rate rises on the horizon it was comforting to see they were in step with RBA increases. The August decision came week before our settlement of refinance. A day after we settled, Nano informed me that they were not staying in step with RBA and they increased by 0.65%. This completely destroyed the value of refinancing and reeks of deceptive conduct by Nano.
I would encourage anyone thinking about using Nano to reconsider.

Never again
Never again. Increasing the cash rate over and above the standard RBA rate during times like this is absolutely disgusting.
I've been with athena for 5 years before this and will be switching back.
EDIT: Love that they still claim to charge no fees, what's a better example of a fee than 0.15% for the life of your mortgage? I'd rather the annual fee.

Disappointed
I refinanced to nano and within an hour of doing so was hit with an email informing me of a 0.65% rate rise. I would have understood a 0.5% rise in line with RBA announcement but was very disappointed to see nano go for more. My main reason for refinancing was to get a better rate, something I know won’t even get. 24 hours on from settlement and I’m also still waiting for details on how I log in and get a card,

Super efficient and friendly refinance process
Nano are super efficient and transparent, plus they are great at communicating with their clients (I love that when you call from your registered mobile you are greeted by name)
From going online and completing the loan application for refinancing a loan was settled in 32days & this included a 1week delay due to my tenants stuffing up first 'bank val' inspection.
Not impressed though that Nano have passed on more than the recent RBA interest increase

Couldn't give a higher recommendation to Nano. Extremely fast process. No waiting on hold to speak to someone. Everyone I've dealt with friendly and professional. Left a big 4 bank to go with Nano and would never go back.

Great lender to deal with!
Nano were fantastic to deal with. Nano were prompt with the loan application and settlement and made all the hassle that you would have with other banks non-existent.

Watch out for this shifty institution publicly listing your inquiry on your credit rating score.
Nano home loans known as Digital Mortgage Solutions believes they can legally publicly list anyone's application on their credit score. Unethical disgusting business tactics that wont achieve anything in their favor.

Wow, the way business should be done.
Wow. What a company to deal with. I have multiple home loans by one of the big four banks as well as considerable savings with them. I went into the branch to organise a loan for another property. Everyone was busy so they said they would call me back. After 24 hours and 3 phone calls asking what my enquiry was for. I had enough. I decided to go online and look at Nano which I had seen advertised. Within 15 minutes my loan was approved. The process was so simple and efficient. I had an unconditional approval all before my bank even called me back at an interest rate much lower than every one of my other home loans I have. I highly recommend Nano.

Refinancing for a fair go
The process was so easy from start to finish and refinancing finalised so quickly with minimal inconvenience. The rate is lower and payback time for refinancing costs (applied by the lender I was moving away from) is short. It was an easy decision to make. Financing a new car is harder than this!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, FAST & EASY PROCESS
I discovered Nano via a web search. The application process was seamless and I had conditional approval next day. The whole approval process was smooth, fast and easy. Our contact Mariah was really diligent in following up and answering all the questions that we had! For a small provider, the customer service has been exceptional right from the application time. The offset sub account is a brilliant feature. The single (amazing) rate for new borrowers and existing borrowers is also excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nano to new borrowers. If you want the best low rates, a convenient and easy to use mobile app, Apple/Google pay, an offset sub account linked to your mortgage and a visa debit card and no fees at all, look no further. Nano has a model that effectively makes mortgage brokers redundant. All I can say is; that I wish I discovered Nano sooner. Thank you Mariah and the team!
