Naylors - Rochdale Avis 

Had a ride on the horse simulator today with Anne Burns. I had certain issues that needed work and Anne was very approachable and understanding putting me at ease, helping me to overcome my issues and anxieties.

I would thoroughly recommend a session with Anne, we travelled nearly 2 hours each way to go and it was well worth the journey.

Always visit the Rochdale branch for all my horse essentials. Staff are brilliant, friendly and give wonderful advice. However over the last month I’ve yet been able to purchase a single pair of the Arma Neoprene overreach boots in size full. Please sort it out. I absolutely do not need white overreach boots they would be disgusting in 2 mins.

Today was my second ride on Rocky following my full knee replacement. Natasha was a great help and together we built on the work I'd done previously with Anne. Thank you so much for your interest and care.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The horse simulator was amazing, great fun and good for people wanting to get back into riding. Also good for practicing moves before trying them on your own horse. The shop is great with lots of items at a good price, I enjoyed shopping after my simulator ride.

Today I booked on the horse simulator. It was amazing and my instructor Tash helped me so much. I have lost all my confidence in riding and felt nervous. Tash put me right at ease straight away. She asked me lots of questions and had answers for what I needed. I was determined not to canter but within 20 mins she had me cantering and it was the best feeling. All the other staff also gave me encouragement too. I'm definitely booking another lesson and going to get my confidence back

Whenever I go into Naylors there is always somewhere there to help. I'm a first time equine owner (loaned many) and they have been brilliant giving me advice on all sorts that was needed. They have had everything I needed in stock. The store is well looked after. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a loyalty card! Anyone who is looking for a friendly, professional and good service go no further. I had Anne's help today she was fab recommending me the right feed for my mare! Plus helped me save money by not buying things I didn't need!

I visited today to have a go of the horse simulator. Tash was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and guided me through everything. I would definitely visit this store again due to the very positive experience I had. Thank you! :)

Very patient when fitting helmets, I think we tried the full selection! Very helpful and great customer service.

We love Naylors and every time we have been we have been met with lovely staff. We visited the Rochdale store 28/05/24 as my 10 year old wanted measuring for a body protector as she has started doing more difficult jumps. We usually purchase online from your website so we can take advantage of PayPal pay 3! A member of staff approached us and asked us were we looking to buy, I explained not right at that moment but we wanted to get her measured so we could look at which ones suited her the best. This is with the intention of going home and purchasing online. The woman asked if she owned her own horse, we said no, not yet, she said when will she be owning her own horse, any time soon, I said no, so she said, “Well, she doesn’t need a body protector then, not until she owns her own horse!” When did Naylors tell their staff not to measure children and that they only need body protectors when they have their own horse! My 10 year old said that if she has a fall now and hurts her upper body, she will blame that woman. She isn’t wrong! We came away very unhappy. After all the times we visit and purchase from you, this is the treatment we get. Unfortunately I do not know her name, just she had short hair! Looks like we will be measuring her ourselves and looking to purchase a body protector from elsewhere now.

The staff member was excellent and really made this a fabulous experience. It was a great session and I really appreciate Naylors offering this. I was nervous beforehand but the team settled me in and I really enjoyed it, and learnt a lot too.

great experience yesterday on the their horse simulator after having a serous fall last year Tash talked me through everything and gave me more or less a lesson so that was great , staff very friendly so will be back again in the near future. Many Thanks Jeff Winters

My experiences at Naylors have always been great, I’ve bought my riding boots from the Rochdale store, my dressage whites & jackets and lots more. I’ve always enjoyed “treating” myself and delighted in my purchases 😊. The recent addition of Rocky has been an absolute bonus. I’m no “spring chicken” and breaking my humerus bone in December 2022 when I fell from a “spooked” horse was a real downer! Should I get back on? Would I be sufficiently relaxed not to “wind” up the poor horse that was to have me on its back? Over a year later and having had to resort to pins in my arm to fix it I thought the best way to investigate would be on the simulator. What a fantastic experience, made even more worthwhile by Tash who is brilliant. She is an inspiration, extremely perceptive AND very encouraging. I’ve now ridden Rocky twice and learnt a great deal in the process. Thank you Naylors and thank you Tash - you are a superstar. “Watch this space” - I will be back!!!

The girl on the till on the 25/02/2024 was amazing to me as she gave me 10% of for my bday n was very patient n supportive w me as I’m learning to handle my money on my own. The reason I didn’t put 5 is bc the girl how was checking my hat fitted didn’t check it properly Jst put it on n tightened it didn’t check arnd the sides or make sure it wouldn’t cover my eyes n there wasn’t many clothes for kids there was some good clothes for kids but not a lot to be honest but other than that it was amazing xx

Went into Naylors in Rochdale after having no luck getting some white competition breeches for my granddaughter. Staff gave excellent service and were able to find a suitable pair after several 'try ons' later that were a perfect fit. Left the shop with one happy teenager. Thank you.

The horse simulator experience was great, Tasha was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Their was also a great selection of clothing in the shop at discounted prices.
Will definitely be returning!!!
