Samphire Gin
Following a tour of the distillery some months ago (which was excellent) my wife and I bought a couple of bottles. One of which was the Samphire Gin. We hosted family recently and the gin went down too well and as such we needed a restock.

Without doubt samphire gin is ginspiration distilled, bottled and poured.
Without doubt samphire gin is ginspiration in a bottle and is the first thing to go on the birthday/Christmas gift list for family and friends.

Poor presentation for the price you pay
Back in 2018 I purchased a bottle of the first batch of the rum. It came with a presentation sticker to tell you when it was born and that it was first batch.
I saw they had a new rum with a price tag of almost £65. Fully expected it would come with the same presentation of atleast a sticker. Unfortunately what i received was a bottle that had been scribbled on with a sharpie to say what bottle number it was and the % vol was also handwritten on.
I think for that price point, handwritten sharpie is a bit of a kick to the consumer. Just my opinion.

Thank you for your review and message. We appreciate all feedback given. We are working towards new branding and packaging design since taking over the business in December 2023. We know aesthetics and label design are as a much a part of the consumer experience as the spirit in the bottle. The barrel batches are a very small quantity and different volumes are produced each time. At present we are hand writing the abv and the bottle number and of course we may look at using a sticker again, but the new labels and bottles when ready will portray more information for the consumer.
