Easy to book/arrange. Report was easy to understand. Had a bit of back and forth with the developer which they handled well and persisted for me which was appreciated.

The team were very helpful and professional. On the day Joe our inspector was really kind and went beyond the scope of inspection to answer questions and provide support where needed.

Paul was great, took his time and covered all aspects of the house. Was really friendly and made you feel at ease. Would highly recommend them for snagging.

I'm really impressed with the service from New Home Quality Control. They were very understanding when there was a delay before the survey could take place and kept me fully informed of the date and time of the visit.

The survey itself was extremely thorough, picking up on a number of things I would never have noticed myself. I received a very detailed report (of 34 pages), complete with photographs, within minutes of making payment and less than 48 hours after the survey had been carried out.

An excellent service and, in my opinion, an essential investment for anyone buying a new-build property - highly recommended. Thank you!

Helen came to our new house to do us a snagging report this week. She was so nice and friendly. Very approachable and professional. She completed her report super quick so that we could get it forwarded to our housing developer. Definitely a 5 star service. I can't recommend this company enough. Great service at a great price!

I fully recommend NHQC to anyone who has a new home, it’s life’s biggest financial investment so why not invest a tiny percentage in a surveyor who has professional experience in areas you may know nothing about. Don’t take the development’s or the NHBC’s word for it, have the peace of mind.

The “snagger” Tony, arrived on time and was a very polite chap with a life career in the building industry , he explained the process and asked if I have any concerns straight away, before setting off surveying my new home.

He found, wrote and explained within a detailed report everything so both myself and the developer could understand.

I’d say 75% of the total snags found, I most certainly wouldn’t have ever known, had it not been without his experience.

A professional man, down to earth and great mannerisms socially to have a conversation with.

I’ve rebooked for a thermal inspection in the coming winter months.

Glen was excellent from start to finish. He carried out our pre-completion inspection thoroughly and explained everything clearly without making minor issues sound worse than they were.

What I particularly appreciated was how approachable and responsive he was afterwards. I had a few follow-up questions and he took the time to give clear, practical advice and explain what was and wasn’t a genuine concern.

He was knowledgeable, professional and reassuring throughout, and the inspection gave us much more confidence going into completion. I’d definitely recommend Glen to anyone buying a new-build property and wanting an independent set of eyes on it.

Decent inspection, but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend

The overall snagging inspection was decent and they did identify some issues, but unfortunately several fairly obvious problems were missed and we ended up finding them ourselves. The builder has since fixed these.

Issues missed included:

* Water leak underneath the kitchen sink
* Three loose window openers, with one hanging loose
* A significant crack behind the glass panel in a wardrobe
* A non-working bulb in one of the patio lights
* Washing machine not working due to a fuse issue
* Loose skirting underneath the dishwasher

I appreciate that no snagging inspection will identify every single issue, but I would have expected some of these to have been picked up during a professional inspection.

There was also an issue with the loft inspection. The loft key was not available at the time of the inspection, which was my fault. Once I obtained the key, I contacted them to ask if I could arrange a separate inspection. I was told to call every Friday to check whether an inspector happened to be coming to my area.

I don’t think this is particularly good customer service. Expecting a customer to call every Friday to check the company’s work allocation, rather than offering a practical way to arrange the outstanding inspection, was disappointing.

Overall, they did find some useful issues, but considering the number of problems we identified ourselves and the poor follow-up experience, I would not recommend the service.

Excellent service from all, including the surveyor Stefan who re arranged us short notice due to illness.

The survey was through, no major issues found and a handful of minor things to report to the developer. The survey took place on the weekend and we had our report by Tuesday.

The booking process was smooth, even with ever changing completion dates we were still booked in within a few days of competition.

I would highly recommend and I am glad the winkle spanners had not worked on our home 😂😂

We recently bought a new build with Bellway and had been following on tiktok for years, so was a no brainer. We booked a snag survey with new homes quality control and they were amazing! communication was great and received a SMS a day before to let us know when they were coming. They snagged the whole house and found 120 snags that we wouldn't have picked up on all of them! great service and glad we chose them!

Amazing experience, worth your money found 50 plus issues with our new home some of which were quite naughty of the developer and we had not noticed. Save yourself the hassle of arguing with developers by using New Home Quality Control.
