A1 Snagging Avis

We got the key for our new home on 24 Oct and appointed A1 Snagging to did a snagging on the next day.

Paul Hancock, the chartered building surveyor from A1, came and completed the snagging for us. He was really professional and knowledgeable about both new build snagging. As what I remember, he has more than 50 years experience in this career and he was also a site manager for house build. We are glad that we found A1 and had Paul to be our snagging expert.

Paul checked through every details including all paintings and even our roof window and the loft. He was very well prepared and got all the equipment for the job. He even explained the house fixing and fitting to us, such as how the thermostat work and what we should look after. What he did is even more detail than the house tour offered by the developer.

Throughout the snagging, Paul was really nice and kind and happy to answer all your questions. He was also a funny man that make us have real fun during the snagging.

On the next day, we have received a very detailed snagging report that we can go to the developer for rectification. Luckily, our house just got a hundred minor snags.

Paul was extremely communicative and sent the report over the same day. It was thorough and informative. Would definitely recommend!

Paul is very thorough, patient and detailed on everything. Worth every penny. He spent hours checking for every details. We would recommend getting the professional snagging even for new homes.

The surveyor’s report was received via email on the same day as the appointment.

This has been a quality service from start to finish with excellent communication and a customer focused approach. Georgina and Paul have been great with our requirement for a comprehensive snagging process and professional report that we have already submitted to our builder to remedy as soon as practicable.

Paul was really friendly and professional. Worked independently and continuously throughout the day.
Comprehensive report of snags received quickly, mostly cosmetic given the nature of our build, but some construction snags also which needed attention.

I was really glad that I chose A1 Snagging. Paul was excellent at his work and was meticulous in finding Snags in my new build property. I had found 76 myself, but in total he reported 205 to the builder. I would never have found all those Snags if I did not use a professional like Paul. When you are putting the biggest investment in your life it is really worth spending the money to make sure it is protected and any problems are solved within the builders warranty. I booked A1 Snagging on the Saturday and they were there on the Monday. What great service and I highly recommend.
