News guard are liars, do not trust what they say. They behave like the Russian and Chinese government, they have become a tool for the far left lunatics that believe they are the only ones that have the real truth! They are liars and their main goal is control! Don’t believe a word they say!

They are a third-party "fact-checker" that is self-appointed authority. NewsGuard uses dishonesty, censorship, and intimidation to bully free speech.

Newsguard is a Democrat funded, completely left leaning partisan organization. It only gives untrustworthy ratings to eight wing outlets for very minor infractions, even after retractions and apologies are made by said outlets. Vut when big time legacy outlets, all of which are radically leftist and progressive, get caught in overt lying, sub-par sourcing, and clear subjective treatment of narratives, Newsguard maintains their stellar ratings, without any admissons or retractions. This venture is a complete farce, a rag not worth wiping your ass with. Basically, outlets with a low newsguard rating are usually a better, more truthful choice in most cases.... This company should be boycotted by ad agencies and commercial interests, as well as consumers.

I'm reading NewsGuard's ratings and they don't jibe with what I know about sites and organizations. For example, the Washington Post and New York Times depicted as fair and balanced, while Prager U. 5 minute videos, which I consider outstanding American civics and values primers, are labelled as propaganda. I feel it's NewsGuard that's the propaganda.

I do not trust Newsguard media ratings they give on websites. I read the articles they say are from media companies that are 100/100 truthful and the articles are only semantic and not an actual news article. I don't understand why they give the ratings that they give to news media companies and it really distorts the world views of those that read it. I honestly don't know how they are not subject to fraud charges.

News Guard gives the Washington Post a rating of 100/100 when today, 5/18/22, Taylor Lorenz writes an Opinion piece on Biden's Misinformation head resigning and how the "right wing internet" made this happen with undeserving "criticism" . The Washington Post did not label this obvious Opinion Piece as such. Shame on News Guard

Reading the reviews on this site it really proves the old adage that the truth hurts.
Anybody else noticed that a lot of the people posting reviews are first time reviewers.
It's almost like they are being influenced.

Extremely Biased. If you want to live in an echo chamber and can't handle opposing points of view, then this service is for you. If you like to hear all sides of a story/topic, then stay far away from this organization. As the name states, they guard you from actual news.
