Not for me
I don't normally have sensitive skin, but I think perhaps I need the sensitive skin bar, because this made me break out a bit.

We have noticed you chose a Normal skin bar, and can appreciate you don’t normally experience breakouts according to your testimonial.
Breakouts while changing to a new skin cleanser can signal either skin purging (the new product is working by accelerating cell turnover to bring existing impurities to the surface) or a negative reaction (such as sensitivity, allergy, or pore-clogging from the new cleanser).
If it is the former reason, typical skin purging breakouts can last between 4-6 weeks, especially if you switched from a cleanser that may have not been as effective, or may have contained non-natural ingredients.
The sensitive skin bar is by far the most gentle bar in our range, whilst still providing an effective cleanse with ultra fine oatmeal powder to soothe and soften the skin.

Cowash with Super rich conditioner
I love the super rich conditioner bar for co-washing my own wavy hair and my sons coily hair. Nothing else I have found the allows my scalp to be clean and hydrated without irritation.

The best shampoo and conditioner bars!
I have been using Nuebar since I first saw them at Manly Markets, maybe 8-9 years. I absolutely love their shampoo and conditioner bars. My hair is shiny and healthy. They ship very quickly, too. Hint: buy the bags as that way you can use every last skerrick of the bar.

Unfortunately it makes my fine hair flatter. I find it slow to lather and then lather up in my hair. The shape of the bar could be improved to make this easier ie rounded.

I love this conditioner bar
I love this conditioner bar. I have never found a conditioner that suits my bleached oil prone hair, my daughters normal hair and my other daughters frizzy, dry curls. This product does every hair type and leaves your hair forever soft and smooth. It’s my go to living by the sun and surf.

Great to have a small compact box…
It was great to have a small compact box with the shampoo and conditioner bars in it. Fitted in my small toiletries bag. No worries about what liquids i was carrying on a plane, and no chance of spills.
They were effective in washing my hair.

Nice but still a bit pricey
Even though I got sale price, I still feel the price was a bit too high. The shampoo bar is great, washes my hair well. But it tends to sweat even though dry. I’m guessing due to the natural oils in it. The wash bar is very good for my daughter as it doesn’t irritate her skin.

Whilst we would love to price our bars to compete with other mass made products, this unfortunately would be unsustainable for our business. Being a Naturopath formulated range, NueBar is formulated from the cleanest and highest quality ingredients we can find. We also pour every bar by hand, as this ensures we can omit any hardeners used for mass machine production, hardeners which can often irritate sensitive skin.

Occasionally we do receive feedback, like yours, that NueBar lathers differently to your regular, store bought shampoos. Being a naturopath formulated range, we choose to omit the most common foaming agents sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), as the chemical nature of these ingredients can cause irritation and dry out your skin. It is especially drying for curly hair and irritating to sensitive skin. Instead, we use natural ingredients which create a smoother, richer, creamier, lather which still distributes throughout your hair, but without the chemical laden bubbles!
To get the most out of your NueBar we recommend running the actual bar over your hair after wetting to ensure the product absorbs into your hair, then popping it down and using your fingers to agitate the scalp and create some lather.
We totally understand this is different to what many people are used to, and that it takes time to adjust, but long term, when your hair adjusts to a gentler clean, you will hopefully notice the difference as our loyal NueBar converts have.

Great for Travel
I bought these to trial for a longer trip I have coming up that will require me to travel very light. Shampoo & conditioner weigh quite a lot! I had a 10 day trip and took them along to try out. I've never used a shampoo or conditioner bar before, but I found them easy to use and kept my hair in great condition - and I still have plenty of the bars left for future use. I'll probably need more for my long trip, but I have time to work out if I get full size bars, or a few travel size.
