Horrible return customer service

Ordering was pretty painless, until you need to return something. Returns are supposed to be issued 5-7 business days, what a joke, more like a month.
Bad to threaten them with BBB complaint and still dragged their feet. HORRIBLE Customer service.
Do yourself a favor, do business elsewhere.

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. They attempt to deliver one time. Signature required. I spent 1400$ they scammed me on the delivery at 11 am on a weekday. I wasn’t home. They left a note that they will try again. So I stayed home from work the day they said they were delivering. It said delivered. It was sent back to them and for some reason sent me tracking info. I was refunded 800 of the 1400. I don’t recommend this site. The customer service is horrible. I’ll die before I don’t get that money back.

Terrible Customer Service

I was going to purchase a Lowrance Recon SW trolling motor. I put it in my cart around lunchtime, spoke with customer support and ask them a question and told them I would pay for it when I got home because I needed to measure something on my boat. I got home, measured to make sure I was ordering the right length and went in to pay online. The price had gone up over 300.00 in five hours. I reached out to customer service and now cannot even get a response.

I had a very bad experience with NVN…

I had a very bad experience with NVN Marine. I ordered a Raymarine Axiom 7DVS with transducer, but they sent me an Axiom+ 7 with no transducer included.

When I called customer service, they told me to send an email. I have now sent three emails on different days and still have not received any response.

From 1 to 10, I rate this company a zero. If you’re planning to buy from NVN Marine, make sure you double-check everything because you might receive the wrong item and not get any help from customer service.

After spending almost $3K with NVN…

After spending almost $3K with NVN Marine I received the wrong item. I called and sent emails that were unanswered. I finally got ahold of a return person and tried a simple exchange to get the correct part. I spent an additional $227 for shipping and insurance to return the part. They received it next day and then told me I had to wait 2 weeks to process the exchange. I waited and received no correspondence. They then told me I needed to return another portion of my order and restart everything. So I went on their website and found that they didn't have any of the electronics I needed in stock at all. So I shipped the rest of my order back at my expense and finally received a full refund nearly 2 months after my order. In the meantime I received a snotty arrogant rude message from "Tom" their supervisor. That's what you get for spending thousands of dollars with NVN Marine! Good thing it wasn't a local store. NEVER do business with them!!!

Let's clarify the subject for everyone.

First of all, it doesn't matter if it's $3k, $3m or $3, we provide the same services for all our customers.

You ordered the wrong product and wanted to return it, so we provided you with a return authorization the same day.

You said: "Thank you so much. I’m returning it in pristine condition. There is not a fold or wrinkle in the manual, not a fingerprint on the box even. Thank you!!! I’ll mail today!".

But the returned package came with a missing part of the product. You took out the cartography product from the package and shipped the rest.

This extended the return process, so you shipped the cartography product as a second package, but it was opened.

Cartography products cannot be resold after opening the package.

We don't have anyone named "Tom".

You haven't received a full refund yet, you opened a chargeback claim with your bank and we are going to share the whole story with them as proof of fraudulent activity.

And, to ensure everyone who wants to do business with us is set, please make sure you're doing everything right on your end. Our target will always be to take care of your needs and provide the best service possible.

Caution ordering from NVN Marine

Ordered several items from NVN Marine. The quality of some items was not what I expected for the price and another item did not work as I thought it would. I wanted to return the items. I was within my 30 day return window. You have to request RMA (return merchandise authorization) number so I started the process but was never sent the RMA. When I reached out again they said they has sent me the number but now it was outside the return window and I cannot return the items. I never received the RMA so I asked that since I didn't receive it in a timely fashion would they reconsider my return. No response - just crickets! Do not use them! They have terrible customer service and the products are not the quality you would expect.

We are sorry that the product did not meet your expectations. This is why we provide a 30-day return window and are happy to accept returns within that timeframe, as it does not negatively affect our business.

However, your return request was made after the 30-day window. The order was dated 10/12, and your request was received on 11/26. We replied to your request with a denial at that time, and you followed up with a request to rectify the situation.

Regarding your negative review on Trustpilot dated 12/17, it appears these actions are being taken quite late. While this is not a large order and we could have easily issued a refund without even requiring a return, we have decided to keep this case as it is to ensure our policies remain transparent and visible for all buyers.

I ordered a part for my camper (have not installed yet) however what I can say is that the entire time I got shipment updates. It did come a little later than expected but I was informed the entire time where my package was. I did receive the correct part as far as I can see. I was worried after reading reviews but so far I have gotten 5 star treatment.

NVM is a scam marine store

I ordered a product with NVN and received it, but it was not what was advertised online and was not usable as I received it. I called to ask what happened and they said it was correct, then looked into it and said it was a warehouse shipping problem. I then requested to return the item. It has been over a month and numerous calls and emails and I still have not received return and refund information. This was an expensive item....now I'm thinking this company is trying to scam me. Horrible company...spend your money elsewhere, or they might take you for a ride.

Not even one star. The send address autofilled and order was placed on website without a prompt to input send address. I immediately sent emails giving the correct address, 6 emails were sent in the proceeding days, then I received ups notice with a tracking number. Ups had not received package. Then I received updates that they received package and will be shipped soon, all with wrong shipping address. Tried calling NVN Marine and received voice message only. I don’t think they have anyone representing them. The shipper was called Shreveport Land and Sea. I called them and they couldn’t even find NVN as a customer for shipping. UPS said they could not change the address. NVN finally sent an email said too bad, should have put correct shipping address initially. And basically have a nice day. What a shitty outfit. Out 50 bucks for a few fasteners, not a big deal, just sad that such a pathetic customer service and shitty company has a license to do business. #NVNMarine.com #NVNMarine.com reviews # NVN Marine

Terrible customer service!!!

Terrible customer service!!!
My computer auto filled in a shipping address that was not correct by accident. 10 Minutes after placing the order I tried sending email to customer support twice with the corrected address and no response.
Finally found a phone number to call after the package was delivered and the employee was useless.
Don't waist your money on companies that just don't care!!

We will ship to the address provided by the customer at checkout.

So you made a mistake to provide wrong shipping address, and even call us with the request of compensate your mistake (pay your shipping from the wrong address to the another address).

We followed our policies, shipped order on time to the provided address and it's delivered without any delay.

NO SUPPORT, NONE!!!!!

I ordered a Simrad evo mount that would not fit after measuring. I contacted them through support and phone with in a hour of my order to cancel. NEVER got a response after several attempts through phone and support. There is absolutely no customer support from this site. Avoid at all costs

This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam. They take your order and do not fulfill it and have very poor customer service. I reached out by e-mail several times asking about my order status. I also called the New York number. Someone with a strong accent answered and said "hello". No greeting with the name of the company, etc. It sounded like I was calling someone in their living room in another country. The person was condescending when I asked if it was in fact NVN marine. They said they would ask the warehouse and would call back. They never did. I sent a 4th e-mail and finally received a reply by someone who said it's Monday and they are busy. That's it. I'm now out $2,225, no trolling motor, and filing a complaint with the USAA credit card company and the BBB.

On Oct 26, 2024 I have purchased two fenders and two
hydraulic table legs. The fenders were two large for my
purpose and the hydraulic legs came in damaged. The
items were returned to the seller. For about four weeks we were going back and fourth about them issuing a refund.
Even though I have written confirmation that they have
received the items. As of March 3rd 2025 they still refuse to issue a refund totaling over $1,847.97. Rude to the point of threatening customer service. All of the reviews on their website seem to be fake. Avoid this "company" at all costs.

First time customer, I ordered the Onyx M/16 life belt pack. Also, I received it on the Monday after I placed my order on Friday! Wow, faster than expected! I will continue to purchase all my iSup gear form NVN Marine! Customer for life!
